I heart aspartame
*from my blog*
I initially wrote a really long sentimental post, about the spiritual and emotional reasons why I'm here and then I realized that I just want a flat stomach and that's all for now. As I sit here and type this, my tummy so rolls over into my lap, that I'm uncomfortable, straining to breathe properly and afraid that I might have to tie my shoe before I get up to leave. This is my journey. This is my journal. One crunch and one less Diet Coke at a time. High five? ~geebs |

I kind of cheated yesterday and had a Coke. Not Diet, so no aspartame, but still. It was truly by mistake. My sister was coming home and I asked her, as I always do, to bring one home. Thankfully, they were out of Diet Coke. Obviously, my only goal isn't to stop drinking Diet Coke, but to gain self-control in general. I don't know how well I did otherwise because I know barely anything about nutrition and balanced eating.
Wait, come to think of it, I was in bed all day with a headache, so I didn't eat at all, except for dinner. Couscous and chicken recipe. With the killer Coke. How's that? I have no clue what I'm doing and but I know I'm doing it wrong because I feel like poo. I remember how I felt when coming back from the Master Cleanse...energized, clearheaded, strong. I want that back. I'm tired of the emotional attachment I have with food. I can't wait for my Body For Life book to get here tho. I'm also linking up with a personal trainer who specializes in creating nutritional programs and the supporting fitness regimen to get the healthy lifestyle his clients seek. We'll see what happens. This whole thing is so much deeper than I'm willing to admit. Hopefully, I can get my LIFE back under control by starting with my body. Thanks for asking, dusk. It helps to have a listening ear(or set of eyes for the screen I guess) ~geebs |

Once you get the BFL book it will be easier for you. It's difficult when you don't know what you're doing, for sure!
But the BFL book and the trainer will be able to steer you in the right direction. Keep us posted as to your progress and what you're learning. We'd love to hear it and will probably learn some new stuff in the process!I hope you get to finding out what's causing those headaches soon. ![]() |
