Busy working tonight, but off this weekend

I'm doing good food wise, I need to eat my veggies yet. Water is easy to drink concidering how much sweating I'm doing tonight. I took all my vitamins and fish oil.

Good job getting back to doing what you know you need to do

I mowed the grass after breakfast this afternoon. I'll see how I feel after dinner, I still want to get the leg workout in tonight. This morning I bought two packs of nuts one cashews and one mixed nuts and had those with a liter of water. Other than that it was pretty much no carbs last night, what ever was in the cheese and coffee I drank last night, so maybe 30 carbs all togeather. I didn't eat my veggies at work last night.

I finally completed my leg workout

Squats
Warm Up
barx12
95x10
145x6
235x3
255x1
Work sets
255x6
275x6
295x6

Front Squats
145x3
145x6

SLDL? RDL? off 4 1/2 inch platform, no touching between reps, double overhand grip
225x6
225x6

Standing calf raises
225x5 double overhand grip
225x8 alt grip I'll stick with this grip for this exercise.

Cable Crunches 2 sets of 12 with 90# I'll add a little more next time.

Incline Sit Ups 2 sets of 10 body weight only, add weight next time.

Felt really good getting thru this workout. Everything was done without a belt and the form was good on all but the front squats and calf raises. It's been forever since doing front squats it seems and the bar kept sliding off my shoulders on the first set, put my shirt back on and it helped a little. I was getting my butt down like I am supposed too so it was cool doing these again. The calf raises I used to do with the bar on my shoulders, but I didn't feel like moving the weights around again so I just did them holding the bar in my hands, I need the extra grip work anyway. It was cool doing some ab work and I probably should figure on doing some in the other workouts too.

Thanks! Taking the weekend off is usually a great idea, especially if you workout all week long, the body needs time to rest.

I went to Topeka today to pay a bill and pick up some pavers to finish the dog kennel. Came home, took a nap and trimmed the yard for about an hour and a half. I only have maybe half an hour to an hour left to do tomorrow then it will be all pretty.

No lifting today/tonight. I may do some event training tomorrow depending on the weather and how I feel. I want to do some log pressing, tire flipping and stone loading. I'll let you know if I get around to anything. I also need to do some high pulls with a close grip to mimick the power stairs next month.

Well it was good enough for me, the area the dog house and pen were covered. Now the area just outside the pen is layed and all I have to do is trim a couple of railroad ties and move the bigger ones in maybe six inches. That'll be a quick job with the chain saw.

I didn't do much yesterday, my back has been bothering me some. Only when I sit or try to sleep.

This morning I finished trimming the yard and cutting the railroad ties down to size. The kennel is officially finished and the yard looks very good. I don't want to hear another word about mowing trimming or any other yard work, for at least a week.

I need to get my workout done.

sounds like a job well done. now that things are warming up here my excuse for not tackling my garden is diminishing by the day too. thankfully i only have a small courtyard garden and it only takes an hour or so to whip it into shape.

maybe next week.

sit or sleep, which means lying down . . . hmmmm . . . doesn't sound like it's very comfortable in ANY position. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks, I envy you right now Raine. Both because of the weather and the size of your yard. Fortunatly Fall is getting close here so it shouldn't be too long before all I have to worry about is snow removal. Our yard is four city lots, almost an acre I think. I don't nind the mowing so much, I have a rider, but trimming around the trees, house, culverts, yard art, trailers and signs is a pain. Not to mention the whole length of the front yard where the county was kind enough to disturb the gravel along the edge of the highway.

Really it's fine when I'm up and moving about. No problems at all. But if I sit for more than an hour or try to lay down on my side, or when I get up it flairs up. I'm going to find a chiropractor.

I think I'll just re-sell it in a year or two. Sooner if the right property comes available.

Well, all I can say about this past couple of days is, at least I'm eating right. Not drinking enough water or sleeping much, I did get 6 hours today, but at least I'm not gorging myself with lots of carbs like I used to do when I couldn't sleep.

Well I went off plan today, I had two yogurts for 60 extra carbs this morning before sleeping. I'm back at it this evening, when I woke I had my regular breakfast.

They were Dannon, one was banana split and the other was called bovarian cream.

I'm in the middle of my workout if that's any help.

Still getting the spasms, but I'm getting a little more sleep so maybe it's getting a little better?

I had a training class yesterday, it wasn't on what I thought it would be. I was thinking we were going to be discussing plant efficiency. It ended up being about communication, which was ok, but I didn't think it was really necessary. Anyway, we did a DISC test and learned about different styles of communication. They told me I was a high C and a perfectionist, yay me? Anyway, I made it until I got home before falling asleep then slept for three hours.

I wanted to get my lifting done before it got too late so I could do my last workout on Friday. Well I guess that didn't happen I just finished writing down what I need to do and will probably make an attempt at doing it after I do a little more reading and posting. The last workout will have to be done on Saturday I guess.

I don't take it as a compliment, it usually holds me back. If I can't do something right I usually don't do it.

Yep, it's about 3am here now.

I slept great thanks! I went to sleep after that post and slept for a little over 5 hours. Woke up, took the Mrs to breakfast, pick up some prescriptions and our eldest daughter. We visited with her for a few hours and then I went back to bed for another half hour nap. Now I'm going to go take a shower and get ready for work. I think it's going to be a long night.
