For breakfast this afternoon I had the usual eggs/cheese and bacon.
Lunch was egg salad, it sure seems top be sticking with me tonight. I have steak and cheese for later tonight. I should have grabbed a can of spinach on my way out the door, for sure tomorrow.

Squats: Warm up barx12 95x10 185x6 275x3 275x1 Work Set 275x5x5 Got nausous and weak.

I'm not sure if it's a lack of carbs, sleep or I'm just being a puss, probably the latter. Anyway, I'll get some sleep, eat plenty of veggies and try this workout again on Monday night. One thing is for sure, I need to work on these, I need to find that groove again.

Thanks Raine, you're right. I still feel like a truck hit me. Oh well, that's what I get for not getting off my butt and doing something.

I normally make egg salad with four eggs and put it all in one container and eat it all in one setting. Today I put it in two smaller containers. I just finished eating the rest of the canned spinach, that I opened earlier to add to my scrambled eggs, and one of the smaller containers of egg salad. I rinsed the spinach before heating it up to remove some of the salt, but I don't think I'll do that again unless the salt causes me a problem.

I plan to eat another can of spinach and egg salad about 10:30 or 11pm Then I'll eat hamburger and cheese for the rest of the night. Only I'll eat 4 ounces of cheese and that will be it.

tomorrow looks to be a busy night at work, ohh yay

Nope, I don't weigh myself that much. I weigh myself when I go into the Dr's office, my scale doesn't go up quite this high yet. I'm feeling thinner, my jeans are gettiing bigger it seems and I have to tighten my belt more.

oh ok

sweet as. i know clothes are a better indication anyways so no doubt you're losing.

before winter set in here this year i went out and bought baggy tracksuits to keep warm but wearing them also makes me unaware how big i'd gotten so i wouldn't worry about it so much. (and i kept eating, ugh) my other clothes were getting so tight it was an everyday reminder so buying bigger and baggier clothes wasn't such a smart move.

Low Carb Friends has a chat room, it's at the top of the page. All you need to do is type in a name and hit enter. you don't have to use your user name and password or anything like that. There's usually not alot of people there, but people from the Support Unlimited group gets on in the evening and they're a hoot most of the time.

Well, in this part of the U S of A, not alot going on today. I went to town and bought some cheese, bacon and a few other things to keep me in my A game

Nope, I didn't get sick. Our german shepard decided to poop on the carpet last night. She normally barks at us when she wants to go out, but she didn't give me any indication she needed to go So now she can stay in her kennel until the girls are back and want to deal with her.

i have a question. i tried to do a sit up with my feet under the couch and (apart from not being able to with my hands behind my head) my neck muscles were really straining. should that happen?

Raine, it can if you have weak neck muscles. I try not to do situps, but crunches. One way to keep the strain on the neck down is to put a ball, like a tennis ball, under your chin. It will keep you head in a good position instead of putting strain on the neck.

And if you do a crunch, your hands can easily cradle the head, but keep the hands around the base of the head and top of the back of the neck. That way you're not pulling your head out of position.

HTH.

I would cross my arms in front of my chest, to do either crunches or situps, especially if it's causing your neck to hurt. I'm betting you're trying to pull yourself up by the neck, probably and indication you are trying to do too many at one time

Been there, done that
