Very cool.

I stepped out to go pick up my eldest daughter. She went out with some of her girlfriends to an 18 and over bar. I met up with them so her friend didn't have to drive out of her way to bring Stephanie home. She had a good time and said she dominated on the water pong game, I'm so proud I just know she better get up with no problems to go to school in the morning. I'd sure hate having to ground her at 20 years old

You know how some men marry women that have drug problems or mental issues? I think mine needs to join a pond awareness group. Somewhere that will help her with her pond addiction problem

We went out and bought her another fish, this one is a koi and it looks more like a minnow. It's only 3 inches long and hard to get a picture of as it seems to be hiding alot under the fake lilly pads. Meanwhile Goldine Jr, named after the last goldfish we kept for 6+ years, is becoming a ham and is really showing off it's colors. We also got her a water lilly, fish food and a pot to replant the water iris. Does this make me an enabler?

I think I'm just going to break down and buy the edging and mulch for the pond next week. Hopefully that will satisfy her need to create the pond as most of it will be in there. Oh, she ordered a decorative bridge and it came in today. I think we'll wait to put it out until I can anchor it down. Don't want the wind to blow it away during these spring storms.

Yep, she's pretty happy I think. I only bought about half the rock needed to edge out the pond, she wanted it to overhang more than I thought it'd need to. So I'll pick up some more tonight or tomorrow morning on my way home from work. Bought two more koi, that are alot bigger and easier to see, a barley log, more fish food and a really cool gazing ball made out of metal.

It's hardly a millon dollar pond, but it's about all my poor budget can handle A BBQ does sound like a good idea tho.

It's time for me to get serious on the low carb way of life. I asked the wife if she'd be interested in taking measurements and before pictures in the morning. I'd like an accurate record of where I'm at for starters. I'm feeling like I'm pushing my luck healthwise. I'll start the eating part tomorrow as she made me dirty rice and corn bread for lunch/supper.

Ok, I stopped and picked up some more rock for the water garden and Lorraine picked up the mulch last night. This is where we're at so far.....

Didn't have time to eat breakfast so I grabbed a package of mixed nuts on the way to work. They have more salt in them than I'd liked but I wanted to eat within the first hour. I just had scrambled eggs topped with pepperjack cheese and 4 pieces of bacon. I haven't drank much yet, a few sips of water out of one of the liter bottles I bought on the way to work.

I drank the 2 liters of water, took my vitamins, and had less than 20 carbs. I will not blow it when before or after I get home.

I bet, on call would be tough never knowing if or when they will call. Do you stay awake during the whole thing?

I did cheat a little, I had a handful of honey comb cereal before she volunteered to cook my breakfast this afternoon.

We had a talk about what I wanted cooked for my meals, while I drove to work. These past couple of days she's been putting less in my lunch volume wise. I told her I needed more so I'm not tempted into raiding the vending machine.

Other than that it's all good.

Well, I made it home and no cheats. Being awake from 3:30pm yesterday afternoon to now is a long time. Usually I eat a ton of sugary and salty stuff and drink lots of caffeine to stay awake. I didn't drink as much water as I should have, only 1 1/2 liters, but I'll take it as a good day.

I went to see my Mom this evening, since I didn't have time on Mother's Day. It was nice visiting with her.

Before I went over there I had one burger patty. I didn't eat again until just now. Way too long between meals. After I got home from Mom's I didn't feel like eating so we just went out to get cat and dog food. I'm thinking my blood sugar was getting a little low, anyway I did good and just ate a slim jim to tide me over until I got home. Now I'm eating 3 burgers and some cheese washed down with water.

you are doing really good bobby...everyday that we get past on plan is a day in the right direstion. You know I watched the biggest loser last night..I was so inspired. WE CAN DO THAT!!
Im so sick of being unhealthy...I have always been..well..."curvy" but i heard those women talking about how people say"what a pretty lady if she wasnt so heavy"...and "what a pretty face"...and thats how I feel. Im ready to be healthy again and het my life back.....

awwwwww..well hot we might be...all this extra weight is killing my health
yea im a shortie...but at 200lbs whew...poor heart. and you know what? when i see those ladies on that show...some weighing in at like 380 and more i see myself...thats what i see when i loook in the mirror..

and i can understand how they feel..i was over 300 at one point in my life..
and i know we can do this....

we are all going to lose this weight and all take like a cruise or something and bring our s.o.'s ....thats what we need to do....
pick a date several months away and do something fun(listen to nena's gears turning in her lil blonde head)..lol

It's going to take more than a few months for me to get this weight off. And to tell the truth, I haven't had much luck with boats and water, I'll stick with bikes, cars and good ol' solid dirt.
