[COLOR=Purple]I’m Heidi and my partner in crime is Kimmer …..we met here on LCF and have been ‘on-line’ friends for a little over 2 years….we have been there through each other’s weight-loss struggles and occasional temporary successes…..we’ve encouraged and supported each other.....and yes, occasionally wallowed in self-pity together.

[COLOR=Purple]Between the two of us, we’ve tried every diet known to man……Atkins, WW’s, Slim-Fast, Kimkins, Nutrisystem, calorie counting, BFL…..you name it, we’ve tried it….And we’ve finally come to the conclusion that they all work…..you just have to pick one and stick with it! Hmmmm……..what a novel idea…..

Does the phrase "Just Do It!" Come to mind? We are struggling but we are VERY determined to succeed! Please~come say Hello and we welcome all encouragement~~~

Okay I have picked Weight Watchers and my Menu is as follows:

Egg McMuffin I treated myself to McDonalds today = 6 points
hash browns= 4 Points

Lunch= 6 points (WW Dinner)

Fruit= 2 points

Dinner= Huge Salad=8 points

Total= 26 Points

I am not changing my Stats because I weighed in this morning and I'm at 220

My goal is to look like the gal in the picture!!

Just checking in! Read my Dotties WW's newsletter and it had this:

Here are the stats for the average number of heart attacks among women every year:
Age 65 and older [352,000]
Ages 45 to 64 [74,000] <<<<~~~I'm 46
Under age 45 [9,000]
Total heart attacks among women for year [435,000]


So my goal is to get healthy!!!!!!

So my Menu for today is:

Total Cereal with strawberries and 1/2 Cup of skim Milk

12 Almonds

Chicken sandwich on 2 slices of skinny bread with a HUGE slice of tomato

15 pretzel sticks

grapes

raisins

Dinner~~~~something light It's going to be HOT today........

I'm here!

I've decided to give WW's a chance.....I feel so guilty not going back to my beloved Atkins.....

This week-end was a total bust....food-wise.....

But I am going to give this WW's thing a try....I hate all of the 'counting', but everybody says that once you get the hang of it, you get to know the points in what you are eating and you don't have to look up everything.....I'm a creature of habit, so I'll probably end up eating the same things all the time anyway.....

REMEMBER MISS: vegis are FREE and fruit is usually one. WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!! Stay away from those high point breakfasts.

HAPPY DAY BEFORE FRIDAY ~~~~thought it would never get here!!!

You know what I found out????? That if you stay on program, IT WORKS! I'm down 2 Pounds in two days!

My Menu:
12 Almonds
banana
string cheese ( yes I need to go to the store!)

Lunch= We have a luncheon today~~~roast beef and salad with a dinner roll.

snack- will be raisins or 100 calorie popcorn

Dinner= ????? I'll pick something from the menu in the book! : D: D: D: D
