Hi girls.
Sure has been a hectic couple of months for me . Kimmer I am sure you can relate. Joe graduated, his party was on the 14th of June, where we had nearly 200 people over. Joe received over $2,000 so that will certainly help him to get a good start in school. On top of that craziness, my dad had a heart attack the day before Joe's party. He is fine, just needs to take it slow for a bit. We have had no less than a half dozen parties to attend each weekend, and thankfully this weekend most of them will be winding down. I have 4 to attend on Saturday, and 2 on Sunday. Needless to say, my weightloss has been delayed...considerable. I am contemplating buying the Wii Fit...contemplating...not purchasing just yet though.
Anyway, thanks for the invite to stop in and say hello.
I sure do miss talking with you gals.

I know that one of my friends kids is hooked on it. I've never watched them though. It says you can do everything from stretches to yoga.

Hey ladies!

I went away for vacation and had a layover in Atlanta, so Mel and I got to meet.

We both agree that we miss the whole group so much. She's busy with work, Dave and Kathryn. I'm just swamped at work so my posting is more in the evening and you guys aren't really on at that time.

But I'll stop in here if that's ok.

I might give WW a try.

Anna- sorry about your dad.

Tonia - have fun with the kids.

Later kids, it's bed time for me, still have one wakeup before the weekend.

Hello Ladiess...again

I have been sitting here thinking.
Today is the 27 of June. I am suppost to leave for the beach with dh family in 24 days.
That is not long and not long enough to lose 20lbs (more would be better).
I was going to do the OBX Diet. But I think I will get faster results with meat and egg.
I can do it for 24 days right....and then I will follow the OBX Diet while I am there. I love it but I think meat and eggs will give me even faster results.

And if I do the 10 on 10 callanetics...that would help too..if I did it every other day I would be able to get in 12 days which would give me visible results..??

What do you girls think?

If you stay on any program for 24 days (read my siggi) you will see results. The main thing is that you choose a program that's for you! And one that you can do.

You are going to have so much fun at the beach!!!

Good Morning!

My Menu for today:

Almonds (24)

Lunch will be either a piece of roast beef OR a turkey sandwich (Right now I'm leaning toward the sandwich

snack~~raisins?? Maybe or pretzil sticks

Dinner= problem area here. With DH gone and DS working tonight I'm by myself again. So ladies any thoughts to keep me out of trouble in the food area????

I am going to Walmart tonight to pick up some things. I'm taking my book with me and I'm wanting to follow the menus in the back EXACTLY! Something I need to do.

Well ladies!!!! I'm loving all of our visitors!!!!!! Please feel free to post and give us inspiration and motivation!

I will do this!! just 24 days...right...and then maybe I can enjoy the beach.
I will not wear a bathing suit if I am still at this weight...I think I was even less last year and didnt wear one.

Hi girls -
Heidi - Joe will be going away to college in late August. He will attend Central Michigan University and work towards his teaching degree. His goal is to become a high school history teacher with a music minor. He will also be auditioning for the music department. Apparently, my young man has quite an awesome reputation with regards to his vocal ability and they have indicated that they are most interested in him. $$

The Wii Fit is the latest craze in exercise. Don't misunderstand, I am not at all a video game gal. But this sounds really fun. I have a Wii, but not the fit. There is a thread on the boards with people who use it and they have all raved about what fun is it. Some are video game virgins like me.

Karen - you got to meet Mel?? AWESOME!!

I wish they showed "real" people in bathing suits. All the models are always perfectly toned and thin, that's what makes it so difficult to buy a suit online. It looks great in the picture and then when you get it and try it on, they have all the extra bumps and rolls that were not in the picture. I know they didn't charge me extra for them, so why don't I look like the hottie in the pic?
