I had never seen that before cause It was always covered in fat lol So weird to see changes in my body. Things move all over and the fat re situates itself in places and then moves and I am seeing definition and bones. And strangely odd how I can fit in 10/11/12 at my weight but yet so fulfilling to know I am doing this for me.

Felt good this morning. Scale is up but I guess its water from sodium cause my rings wont fit. I really hate the scale. I dont want to be tied to it but watching it keep going up is disheartening.

B: 2 eggs scrambled in butter, 2 sausage, coffee w/ 1.5 tbsp cream and sf davinci

Marsha, are you weighing every day again?

If so...................WHY?

I would encourage you to pitch the frikkin scale in the nearest river, roll up your sleeves, plan out your menus -- LC, high fat, mod-high cals, put in your time for workouts, drink your water, and love yourself. Repeat this every day for one month.

That scale does nothing but sabotage every single bit of effort you put forth.....it's deceptive, it's misleading, it's counterproductive to your goals.

No more weighing.

None.

Got it????????

I agree 100%. The scale is your worst enemy-it is sabotaging every effort you make. I thought you gave it to a lady at work anyway?

Excellent advice. For me too. Hey Marsh, wanna see how long we can both go without weighing ourselves? Can you hold out till June 1st? Let's do it!

What's the Egg Analogy??
Thanks,
Pandora

Then one day the egg begins to shake and a chick pops out. While the egg sat idle things were changing under the surface.

We all spend too much time looking at the outside of the egg when we should stop and think about what is going on inside.

We all get frustrated with lack of progress, slow strength gains, injuries, and the 100 other things that never come as fast as we like.

Many times busting out of these slumps does not take external changes (special exercises, new diet parameters, supplements, programs, money) but how you are internally programmed.

What internal beliefs do you need to change?"

This is the egg analogy and yes I can hold off till June. Had my mom take scale away or hide it at house while i was at work today.

WOW. powerful analogy. and so true. I love it. thank you for sharing!

OK, let's compare stats on June 1st!

Whoops - let's make it May 31st 'cause my 45th bday PARTY is that day so I'll be having champagne and other treats so I deff wanna weigh-in B4 that!

But I'm not planning to be too bad at all, it will be a low carb BBQ and I'll be right back on track on June 1.

making note of waking up starving. Stomach growling and all. Is this a sign of metabolism awakening? Is it cause I had higher calories yesterday and my body liked it?

Marsha,

Hope you're okay.....you're AWOL, and that has me worried.

Very busy this weekend, so I'll check in with you later tonight.
