I was bad. I admit it. Friday night the carb demons grabbed ahold and I caved. It was not a pig-out or anything, but it was still off plan. Saturday I was bold, I was brave, and then I caved - again at night. UGH. TOM decided to come early, too. Oh swell. Sunday I should have done the right thing, but I did the carb thing.

The good (if there is any) was that I truly did not binge and I did think about what I was eating. The bad is that I am up 2 pounds today. What should have been my triumphant one-week on plan is clouded. I hope the 2 pounds are from TOM...that would be sweet.

Won't get on the scale again until Wednesday morn as that night I'll have my FM.

Now, where's my water bottle...

...to be continued...

Sorry you had a rough weekend, Fifi. Just put that behind you and keep plugging away. That's what I tell myself when I get off plan.

Fifi,

You are the BEST! Your incredible sense of humor is such a gift So you screwed up...so what? You can get right back to LC and kick those 2 pounds to the curb, or you can give up like a woosie and back slide...I DON'T THINK SO!

Love you!

Today is a better day. My weight is down what "I" say is a pound. See, I fudge the ounces - as long as that last digit changes, the one before the period, I call it a pound. Hey, my weightloss, my math. I am excited that I will have two numbers change when I fall into the 140's - THIS WEEK - ARE YOU LISTENING DIETING gods?

So, if I do what I am supposed to do, I should see continued downward force of the scale through tomorrow, which will be a free meal night. I hope when TOM's gone I'll have a little whoosh, but I won't count on it. Nothing's easy for me in losing weight.

Work beckons. Back later.

Well, I thought TOM was outta here yesterday, but nope. No matter, I am down again today 153. YES!

Tonight I get a free-meal and I am looking forward to some chicken wings! I have been craving them for a while, so it will be nice to finally get 'em!

I feel thinner today. I'm guessing the bloat is gone. I have to say that I will truly not be happy with myself until I dip into the low 140's. I have been playing with the 147 - 153 weight for so long now. It's frustrating to think that had I not added those extra pounds in March, I would be almost to the 130's.

I'd love to be at least 147 by my first goal date of May 8th.

May 1st. I cannot believe it. It has me a little blue today thinking how fast the year is going, how fast my children are growing up. SIGH.

The weight loss is hovering. Last night I had my free meal. I had some french bread with oil, chicken wings, celery, and an ice cream. I enjoyed it very much! What I noticed was that I got full - fast. This is a very good thing. Smaller portions going in will lead to a smaller me, right?

I am going to try to add in more veggies to this final week before I take a break from the diet. I will also up my water today because I know the sodium in last night's dinner needs to be flushed for better results on the scale tomorrow.

I'm still in a funk. I hate feeling this way - down and out. It's affecting my sleep, too. The past two nights I have not slept well at all; today I am really tired.

The scale was down again today. That's good - but I was hoping for more by now. I know that I should be happy with any loss, but I only have one week until I go away, and I wanted to feel thinner. Today I feel really huge.

I really like the results of the PSMF diet. The plan is easy to follow, includes almost all veggies, and requires proper vitamins and minerals. Most important, favorite foods are enjoyed every few days.

I still have that first goal of 147 by Friday. That means I need to lose 6 between then and now.

Day 1 - 158
Day 12 - 153

This picture really shows the spare tire I have. LOL. Cause I refuse to buy a bigger size pants! It is just sad that I am still the same weight.

The good news for today is that I don't feel all Gloom-and-Doom. LOL The bad news is that I am stalled at 153. Dang it. Plus, I had a really rough day at work (read: no free time to come to LCF). Humph.

As I sit here typing, I just realized that I never put my chicken in the oven when it beeped that it was pre-heated. I actually think I need to eat more food. I have had virtually no appetite for a while.

And I am out of cottage cheese. Curses. Another trip to the grocery store.

Word to the wise: do not, ever, purchase Publix Spring Water bottles for consumption. That is all.

I'm just back from a mini-vacation to celebrate Mother's Day at Disney. It was very hot, but very nice. We did not want to leave. I did take my diet break during this time, of course.

Having to face the reality of my legs and butt poolside was not pleasant. Nobody should be subjected to that. LOL I really need to focus and do what I can to reshape my body.

Today is my first day of my second two-week cycle of PSMF. I hope to be super good and get some good results.

I am bloated and feel huge today. I did get on the scale and it said 156. Ick. That means I am up three from my diet break.

My goal is to get into the low 140's by June 7th. That's a long way off so I it should be do-able. Heck, I know it IS, so long as I follow the rules...

I know how bloated feels, I've got it today too! Thankfully it's just water weight so you should be back down really soon!

If I had a dollar for every time I came back and said, "...oh I was off plan...now I'm back..." Geesh.

BUT I was off plan and now I'm back! I had a tough week at work and home - lots-o-stress - and it led to multiple ice cream indulgences and a few (cough, cough) sips of alcohol. The funny thing is, from the minute I get up through the moment I return from work, I have no trouble staying on plan. But no sooner is homework done and dinner cooking, do I fall utterly and completely off the freakin' wagon!

Tomorrow, is a new day. I have until June 7th to lose this jiggle. Gonna do it! Gonna do it!

It's June. Year half gone. Facing another birthday with this extra weight That makes two of them. Who in the world would have thought this would be such a struggle between me and me!?

I have been dealing with major stress at home and it really leads me to feeling empty inside. I use it as an excuse to go off plan - but it is not what I want.

I want to have success in my weight loss. I am no stranger to challenges, why is this so different??

Okay, enough Dr. Phil-ish drama. I am not the Lifetime sappy movie of the week! I am the woman in my new avatar just waiting to get out!
