Love's 2008

Starting a new journal for 2008. I want a clean start. I will post a link to my 2007 journal in this entry so that I can go back and review if I need to.

Gonna try to enter stuff in fitday on a daily basis so I can really track and figure out why I fluctuate and stall.

153 today.

B: Fage yogurt w/raspberry davinci's and 1 splenda (not putting the splenda in it tomorrow to cut 1 carb)
L: turkey/ham/bacon on a lc mission tortilla
"Snack": cauli rice and butter
D: 2 whole deviled eggs (yum, I added 2 diced dill pickle slices!)
2 coffees with 2 oz half n half
1 diet dr pepper
water

My counts were about:
Total: 1030
Fat: 76 67%
Carbs: 40 9%
Fiber: 17
Protein: 59 23%
Net Carbs: 23

Here is my 2007 journal: LovesDivine's long walk to thinness!

Hey again!

I just glanced back at my 2007 journal. The last time I saw the 140's was in November. it was right around the first of Dec when I hit the 150's and kept going!

I gotta go clip some coupons and pick up a few things and then get ready to have some men over for a football game, but when I get back , i am gonna go to fit day and post my missing stats. I wanted (planned) to do that in my journal daily but I forgot!

I was 151 today and 151.5 yesterday. It looks like it is coming off. I will change siggy tomorrow if I am still 151!!

Yay for the weight coming off! Like you said in my 2007 journal we are gonna see goal this year!

I really need to start my journal but sometime I feel like I spend way too much time on here and with a journal that may add to the addiction.

Do you have any ideas for a journal title for me? I cant think of one. Maybe I will copy you and do Pri17cess 2008 journal. Do you mind?

I have been doing a lot of research on the PCOS so my journal will probably be full of that info and as I talk to my doc and learn more. That way I will have a place to refer back to.

You are really good with this Fitday stuff. I should really try it. I am sure it is very eye opening. I did it for a few days but I just dont seem to have the patience.

I sent you the PM!!

It is eye opening. I am not as good with it as I want to be. I am trying this year. I think I got too confident about being able to guage carbs and in reality, I was really going over BIG time. Using fitday allows me to really see what my choices are doing. It is not about patience, it is about taking the time (alot) to enter stuff in there each day. It is a pain I admit since you have to lots of the time create your own food/recipes there in order to get accurate counts. I am constantly bringing labels with me to the laptop and logging in there to enter counts.

I had 2 tbsp peanut butter tonight and a dozen pistachios.

Just trying to keep it honest!

I bet I am 153 again tomorrow. I hate this.

Day one revised

OK, I am not as hungry as I thought I’d be today! That is a good thing. Guess the protein breakfast and the cheese/V8 did the trick. I only used ½ a can of tuna in my salad. I will skip the sirloin burger for dinner tonight and have instead, the other half of the can of tuna mixed with 2 HB eggs and some mayo. And a dannon yogurt for dinner instead of the ricotta desert.

Menu today:
B: 2 eggs cooked in EVOO, 2 pcs Canadian bacon, coffee with splenda and 1% milk
S: 2 low fat cheese sticks, V8
L: Chopped salad (romaine and tomato) w/1/2 can tuna and Caesar dressing
S: broccoli and celery w/hummus
D: 1/2 can tuna/2 HB eggs/Mayo
Dessert if wanted: Dannon L&F yogurt

This lowers my fat and calories.

So far so good!

How do you feel on SB? Do you like it better than Atkins or EFGT?

Did you have the ricotta?

I ate the ricotta. I added some unsweetened cocoa powder to it too! This is a very rich and satisfying dessert. I like atkins better. I just 'know' it. SB is hard for me right now cuz i have to check the book and fit day and labels etc. I know the atkins foods labels and portions so I don't have to check that.

I PM'd you...hope you still like me!

Back on Atkins, rear end kicked! 152 lbs

152 lbs today.

Yesterday:

B: egg mcmuffin w/cbacon and american cheese on an oopsie roll!
L: 2 RB rollups with muenster cheese and mayo and a tossed salad with caesar
D: salad with caesar
S: deli turkey sammich on an oopsie roll

Later on I had some p-butter on dark chocolate and 2 andes thin mints.

Today:
B: coffee
L: burger topped with muenster cheese, 2 slices tomato, couple slices pickle and mayo/must
D: half a meatloaf sammie on an oopsie roll (tasted 'weird' not sure if it was the 'egg' with the meatloaf or if the meatloaf was turning, so I TOSSED it. I will have a salad later with DH when he is ready for dinner (painting right now, I am NOT complaining!)

mmmm...pb on dark choc! The Andes shouldnt pose too big of a threat.
I bought a cool meatloaf pan from Wal*Mart. It has two pans one on top that has holes to drain the fat. I think I will go to the store tomorrow and get some ground beef to make meatloaf this week.

How weird. I was holding that EXACT meatloaf pan just last week and debating on whether or not I ‘needed’ it! I decided I didn’t ‘yet’. I can just our off the fat before adding the low carb ketchup prior to the last 15 minutes of cook time…

I am good. I was 154 yesterday and 155 today.

Eating clean and trying to work on the other thing. Trying not to get down about eating pizza and other junk and now gaining even more. Before I know it, I will be right back at 167 where I started.

Sigh.

Hang in there Lisa! You can do it!! Remember this is our year. We are gonna do it.
The meatloaf pan was $5 or $6 bucks and I was like What the heck. So I bought it. I am going to make meatloaf tomorrow so I will let you know what I think of this pan.

Have a good Wednesday!

154 today

Day one of the m/e fast. I am gonna try for 3 days. Trying to get back to the 140's. My clothes are getting snuck and my pants are getting to be highwaters!

I am so mad at me.

Lemme know about the pan, I might have to splurge...

Good luck on M/E. I hate when my clothes get tight that always helps me get serious.

ML is in the oven. I will report back on how good or bad it is.
