Thanks so much Jana! Looks like everything there I could do with free weights and a ball at home. DH put up a pullup bar for me and I've never even used it. Would be so cool if I could get to do a pullup.

I hear you on the pull up! I always think about Terminator 2, that scene where the lady is doing the pull ups, dang! I found a bar from Target for like $14 dollars! I am working on it, this is a good way to do it if you can't just do one ( I can't! )
Quote:
Negative Chin Ups
Not strong enough for chin ups? That doesn't mean that chin up bars are not for you. You can do negative chin ups and build your strength. For this you have to start in the top position and lower yourself slowly to the floor. (You can lower more weight than you can lift.) Stand on a chair or bench to start, grab the bar and lower yourself until your feet are on the floor, being careful to position the bench so you don't hit your shins on the way down. It's best to have someone there to help you, at least at first.

Venting...

We went to a Trailblazers game tonight, they lost. I bought the tickets months ago and it happened my sister had her birthday party on the same night. We got done around 11 but DH wouldn't drop me off at my sisters. ( I will not drink and drive ) So, I am missing her bday and then all our friends just texted me from there, one after another WTH over and OVER. I know they are joking, I would probably be doing the same thing, but I am upset with my dh and upset about missing the party. Ugh, its just too much

I am going to bed.

I am so sad. I have finally come to terms with something

I am allergic to broccoli. Cooked, raw, in a soup, plain.. always the same result. Extreme stomach pain for HOURS.

Good Morning Jana! I hope all is better after the party disappointment.

Sorry about the broccoli... I guess. I never have cared for it, but I do eat it. Good thing for you there are tons of equally disgusting vegetables to eat.

Hope you have a great day!

Have you ever tried taking "Beano" before you eat broccoli? I know that broccoli has a type of indigestible sugar that causes gas and in some people brings a lot of GI pain.
Just a thought.

Yes, it was a great dinner I am not afraid to order special things from restaurants anymore. The server didn't even bat an eye.

I copied this from fitday, lets see if it works. This is my weight, recorded everyday this month:
