My menu changed today. I was out and about and had a super fun but busy day. For lunch I had a McDouble from McDonalds no bun and plain. Then dinner I got super busy and forgot so I ended up eating two boiled eggs bacause I knew I needed to eat something.

I went shopping with my Mom and Dad. Then a friend came over and we went and did a bit of shopping at a few resales shops. Then, another friend came over with her kiddos. We had a blast all day long. Needless to say, I didn't get any cleaning or exercise done.

Woke up this morning with a horrifying toothache. I thought I was dying....LOL I took some strong pain medicine and hoped in the tub to soak while the kiddos were sleeping. I am better now but boy do I need to have this tooth looked at.

I am doing laundry and going thru clothes this morning. The kids have so many they can't wear so I am donating them.
I got dinner done this morning already too so all I have to do is heat the taco meat up for the family.

I am not worried about the number on the scale this morning. The pipes are clogged and need cleaned out....LOL
I normally go every day a few times a day and haven't gone in two days. So, I know once the plumbing gets to working the number will go back down.

I have to get out in the freezing cold this morning and go get the baby some food and formula. I need to pick up a few other things as well. It is only 18 degrees right now.

I am going to get an exercise dvd done today and work on my final for the college class I am taking. I start my last two classes next week and then I am done with my associates in accounting and going to start the bachelors.

I am a bit frustrated this morning but I knew I should have expected it. The scale has bounced back up for no reason. The plumbing is working just fine now. Every time I get into the lower number I am stuck for over a week. I know the scale will start moving again but dang.

I decided to go ahead and eat some breakfast this morning even though I didn't have an appetite. I know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I am going to just see what happens. It is a freezing 17 degrees here right now so the warmth of the food is helping at the moment.

Today I am going to the gym to work out one way or another.

Reva, sweetie take a deep breath. You know how this works, up a day down a day roller coaster ride, stop doing this to yourself, think of me yesterday with a 4 lb gain, I knew it was fluid and I bet yours is too. I played around with 187 for over a week, this might be your case, then one morning you will weigh and you will have lost pounds. So perk up lady!

Thank you Laura for always being here supporting me. The encouraging words help keep me going. I know it has to be water gain. I didn't get very much sleep last night either so that could have something to do with it. Jeriah was up and down most of the night for some odd reason. He normally sleeps all night.

I don't really have much to say about the weight loss this morning. I am just going to wait it out and see if it actually sticks. I don't want to get my hopes up like last week and it not last. Now, to move on to a new lower number would be fantastic but I don't want to see it go back up.

I have been picking up around the house. No one did any chores last night since we was at the basketball game all evening long. I have wrapped a few presents and watched a few dvr'ed shows and thats about it.

I know I know I need to get some exercise in some time today.

OOPS looks like with the hectic day Yesterday I didn't make it to post in my journal.

The scale was at 311.4 Yesterday which makes me super happy. At least one thing went right besides my eating. Having 5 kids and three of them being teenagers can get the best of me sometimes. The oldest is a senior and he is such a smart boy but always in trouble. Lets just say he got into some more trouble Yesterday and now is kicked out for the rest of the semester. He is only hurting himself in the long run. Now, I get to play warden to a bright young man who knows how to outplay the game.

With that said, my menu Yesterday was very simple and no breakfast.

B~ Hot green tea with s/f french vanilla davinci (not fond of the flavor)

L~ 3 reg hamburger patties from McDonalds and 1 slice cheese

D~ beef stew meat with 1 tbsp lc ketchup

Diane, I just season mine with a bit on onion powder and garlic powder and then fry it in a bit of butter. It gives off a nice flavor.

Hey Reva sweetie, I have been in your shoes, believe me. Make it as hard on him as you possibly can. My son was glad to be able to go back to school and get out of my prison camp. after the disappointment in him I got angry that he had made me a prisoner with him so I fought back and became his warden and trust me I was a tuff one. I never let up and when I was through with him my house inside and out shone like a new penny. I never had trouble with him again. They all go through this rebellious stage. It will soon pass. Just know I am here if you need me.

Thank you Laura. He is my step son and has made my life a living hell for the past 10 years that we have had him. He is in all advanced classes because he is so smart. He even skipped first grade. He has tried to make me as miserable as he possibly can. He just does not want to follow our rules. He has gotten into some trouble with the law in the past and now headed in that direction again. We have a meeting with the school board, counselors, principal and the school police resource officer at 9am this morning. He is inlisted in the army and expected to leave in May. Sadly, I can't wait.

Oh sweetie I am so sorry I never had step children but I think it is awful for him to do that to y'all. Sometimes you just have to let go and let God do it when it gets to big for you to handle. My dad used to tell us it was his way or the highway, you might have to give him a case of tuff love and make him leave for him to realize just what he has lost. My prayers are with you sweetie, don't let him drive a wedge in your marriage.

Thurs. 12/9 ~ 311.4
Friday 12/10 ~ 310.2
Saturday 12/11 ~ 309.8

The scale flashed 308.8 twice this morning but not claiming it since 309.8 was the last number that came up. Oh how I would love to be even a pound lighter.

I am excited to be out of the teens but nervous about the numbers bouncing back up like they normally due near the end of the weeks. I am so tired of getting a lot lower and then yo yoing back and forth for almost a week.

I honesty feel like I could be at 299 by Jan. 1, 2011 if the scale keeps moving at this same pace. My mind is in the right place and when I find myself wanting to snack for no reason at night I stop myself and remind myself how much I want to be under 300 like Yesterday.

I am heading to Walmart to get the groceries for the week since we are expecting some nasty weather today and tomorrow. Luckily, so far all we have is the rain that is supose to hit before the sleet and snow.

I would like to take my butt to the gym butt not sure if it will happen or not. I have had a hectic week and need two days off.

The one pound gain is not a worry to me. I had beef smoked sausage with fried cabbage Yesterday and nibbled to much at the chicken and steak taco meat the family had for dinner last night. I know it is water and will come right back off.

It is freezing cold outside and snowing. I have a Christmas party to attend today but not sure I will make it due to the weather outside.

I am not real sure of my menu just yet either till I decided if I am going to the party or not. I did have my daily hot green tea with s/f vanilla torani and a hamburger patty for breakfast.

Tuesday is my birthday and I am supose to go out to dinner with my best friend. We are supose to go to Apple Bees so I know I will make good choices there too.

I will be so glad when the scale decides to stop creeping one way or the other and just start showing a nice loss again. I do want to make my December goal more than anything right now.

I survived two Christmas parties since Sunday and even survived the homemade surger cookies the kids and I made and decorated the other night. I feel as though these are huge accomplishments. Back years ago when I had lost 121 pounds, fudge at a Christmas party is what made me cave and go in a downward, out of control spiral.

It is super sweet to be in total control of me. I will make it to goal one bite at a time.

Today, if weather permitting I am headed to Apple Bees with my friend Tanya. I plan on having steak and garlic shrimp. We was supose to go Yesterday but I went with her to her work Christmas party instead. We are supose to get some very nasty weather this afternoon and tomorrow. At least my hubby is off today and I won't have to get the baby out for anything.

B~ 2 boiled eggs
L~ Steak and shrimp, broccoli
D~ baked chicken

L~ Tuna, 1 boiled egg, 1 tbsp mayo

D~ 2 baked chicken thighs, 1 tbsp ranch

The scale is most likely up this morning due to the snacking last night. I was putting a puzzle together with my daughter and got the munchies after she was snacking. I wasn't even hungry is the sad thing. I had an extra 1 oz serving bag of macadamia nuts, some cream cheese mixed with 1 square s/f chocolate bar and 2 splenda packets. I mixed it up and let it get real cold. It was like an ice cream treat. I enjoyed it none the less.

I did well at Apple Bee's Yesterday for my birthday lunch with my bestie. I had a steak, shrimp and some broccoli. We then went and did some shopping. It was a super nice time. Now, the 23rd is her birthday so we are going out again in St. Louis and finishing our Christmas shopping.

About the only thing I am doing today is relaxing and playing games with hubby and the kids since the weather is extremely bad out.

WOO HOO!!!!

It was such a nice treat to wake up this morning and see a nice loss on the scale. I was getting a bit frustrated to be honest. I know, I know that our bodies have to get adjusted but it still doesn't make it any easier when you get stuck or bounce up and down on the scale.

I have cabin fever and need out of the house. I am thinking I will hit a few resale shops for some inexpensive retail therapy and then go to the gym.

B~ hot green tea with s/f vanilla torani, 2 boiled eggs

L~ salmon patty with mayo/mustard

D~ salmon patty with mayo/mustard, broccoli, 1 pat butter

Wow Reva, you are doing so awesome!! Wtg! Are you still on induction pretty much? I'm not sure I found my way to your blog, but I'm so glad I did.

Thank you for finding me! Yes, I pretty much stay on induction. There are a few days here and there that I may eat a bit higher but for the most party it is always induction levels. I post my menus daily on here and a menu thread in the century club. Feel free to post as often as you like.

So nice to see the scale moving downward again. I was actually excited to get out of bed early this morning to see if I had lost anything.

I changed my menu Yesterday so I wasn't sure how the scale would turn out this morning.

I had company last night and my friend brought her and I a salad for dinner. I didn't have the salmon patties either. I ate some deer steak for lunch.

Today, I am going to start doing some major cleaning. I need to get ready for Christmas Eve. We will have a big family gathering for my side of the family. Then my inlaws are supose to be here for Christmas. I have a lot to do this week.

B~ 2 fried eggs, 2 strips bacon
L~ deer steak, 1 tbsp lc ketchup
D~ big juciy hamburger no bun with 1 tsp lc ketchup, mustard, 2 sm. pickles
