Good Morning Nikki!!!!! How are you feeling?

Jumped on the scale this morning because I felt less bloated. I liked what I saw. Now lets just hope it sticks for official Tuesday weigh in. I am disgusted that I let my weight get so dang high again but I know it will come back off by the end of the year if I stay focused.

So, three days with no fountain sodas. I did pull up to a drive thru at a gas station and was planning on getting a small one. Then something clicked and I just automatically order a big fountain water. It felt nice to make a good decision and feel good about it even.

Reva I am glad you are getting your mojo back, you can do this! You will feel so much better and so empowered when you see some losses again. I had to give up soda for my surgery, I only drank one diet cherry coke a day, I was missing it but now I dont even think about it. Soda is bad, they say it leeches calcium from our bones, we as women need that, so try to think of it like that,it might help!!! And I am in a terrible funk from this surgery in my opinion it sucks!

Amber I am sorry to hear you are in a funk right now from your surgery. OMG you looking amazing. I can't believe how huge of a difference it has made in your appearance. You are a inspiration to many and most of all you are healthy. You will pull thru this funk and look back on it someday as one of the best choices you have ever made.

So far today:
b~ 2 fried eggs, 1 sausage patty
S~ hot dog (I know frankenfoods are bad)
L~ tuna packet with 1 tsp dukes mayo, broccoli with cheese
D~ Not sure yet

I'm feeling better today.

I have been talking to some of the people at work about us starting a summer weight loss challenge. Some people are already interested. I think it might just be the push I need to get off the next 40 lbs I want to lose.

Today marks one full week of being free of (3) 44oz diet mt dews a day. That is a total of $27.30 in savings for just one week. WOW!!!!!!!!!! I never really looked at it that way. I was spending $71.90 a month in fountain sodas alone. WTH? I could have been investing this in a gym membership or tanning. I miss both of them desperately. I plan on getting back to it in a few short weeks when the kids get out of school. For now I plan on going on walks and doing my zumba workouts.

I am also proud to say that I haven't had any illegal sweets since last Tuesday morning. That is even more huge for me. The last thing I had was a small twist cone from dairy queen and it didn't even taste great.

Yesterdays menu:
B~ 2 fried eggs, 2 strips turkey bacon
S~ banana
L~ 2 sm. chicken legs with cauliflower and cheese
S~ banana
D~ steak, corn, baked potato, 1 tsp butter
S~ s/f ww fudge bar

Todays menu:
B~ banana (no hunger)
S~ fiber one bar
L~ Smart Ones meal (creamy rigatoni with broccoli and chicken) 1 slice of low carb healty light bread, 1 tsp butter
S~ apples
D~ not sure yet

Good for you Reva, it is good to look at the monetary savings and have a plan, like going to the gym or the tanning, something for you. Nikki has been so successful and if WW allows you the treats you miss I think it might be a good thing for you.

I went to my OB/GYN today she said Amber your surgery was huge I am not surprised you dont feel well, she said give it time, so the fact that she said it makes me think OK I gotta just be patient, but I am feeling better, it has taken a toll on me for sure, but I know it will be worth it at some point.

I stepped on the scale this morning for my official weekly weigh in and I was super excited. I am down 9 pounds from last Tuesday morning. I have a very long way to get back to where I was this time last year but I will get there one bite at a time.

Amber it makes me happy to hear you are feeling better. It won't take long and you will see those amazing all around results you was wanting when you went in for the surgery. You are looking beautiful as ever.

Martini we can do this. I wish I could say that I was the same weight as last year. I put back on almost 90 pounds since August of 2011. It is very disgusting feeling and it sucks majorly. I will be here cheering you. I don't plan on going anywhere this time around.

Good morning Nikki. You are my inspiration to give Weight watchers a try. You are having amazing results and looking amazing.

~

Amber I am actually starting to love the plan. I don't feel cheated whatsoever. It is nice for a change. If the scale continues to move downward I am not going to mess with it.

Nikki thank you!!!!!

Yesterdays menu:
B~ 3/4 cup apple cinnamon cheerios, 1 cup 1 % milk
L~ 6 inch oven roasted subway sandwhich on whole wheat, 1 bag baked lays
S~ fiber one bar
D~ smart ones salsbury steak with mac n cheese, broccoli
S~ banana, 1 small ww fudge bar

I am starting to feel good again. I was feeling all sluggish all the time and always wanting to take a nap. I can't wait to get back into the 200's. I have a long journey to get to goal but I am in no hurry to get to that point because it will come if I just work the plan and stick with it.

Martini I know its only water right now but I do feel so much better. My belly isn't feeling so bloated. Days like Yesterday I can handle. I never was a whole wheat type of person. I always thought I could only eat white wonder bread or anywhere I went I would order something white with added stuff to it. I do actually like the taste of the whole gain wheat bread. Do you have a journal by the way?

Reva, thats a good attitude to have. When I started WW, I felt the same way.... I didn't care if I lost weight slower then I would on LC as long as I could eat that way the rest of my life. For me that was the key.

Like I always say you have to be able to do the diet continually and be happy with it or it is never going to work. Reva 9 pounds is awesome!!!! I am trying to be really strict to see if I can lose my body I swear it just wants to hold on to everything, for months now I can hardly move the weight, maybe once I can exercise again!

White bread is the devil in disguise, just nothing good comes from it!!!! Think about it pizza dough, sub rolls, cinnamon rolls, LOL All bad white flour, I actually can't stand the taste of white bread now except for an Italian hoagie, LOL Not sure I should do low carb since I have been maintaining eating healthy carbs, I am afraid if I do lose then when I can workout again and want to add them back I will gain. Ughgh such a mind game!

martini- girl you can do this, you were doing so well there before your B-day like I say just put 2 weeks together of being really strict and you will amaze yourself!

Amber I think once the swelling completely goes down and you can exercise the scale will start moving again. I don't think if I were you I would change what you are doing now. Your body has been thru a whirlwind and trying to catch up with you completely. I almost bet in a few more weeks the scale will go down a good 3 to 4 pounds. Hang in there girlie!!!!!! You are amazing.

Good morning Nikki!! I am beside myself. Being so heavy again I have more points than I can eat. I still had 17 points left last night. I just can't eat anymore. I know I have to use up all of my points in order to lose they say but the scale is moving just fine so I am not going to mess with anything. If I don't use them all I am not going to stress over it. I am eating snacks now when I am not hungry. It is a weird feeling.

Yesterday marked one full week of no fountain sodas and no illegal sweets. I feel tons better just from that.

Yeah on no soda!!!! That is a huge thing to give up just like smoking or whatever you get hooked on stuff I didnt think I could give up diet cherry coke but I did, soda is bad news think how good you will feel.

I went to the library and got Jillian's Master your Metabolism to read, I dont know why I get so stuck I saw the endo she wants to do hormonal blood work but I have to get back to normal first, so I keep waiting.Honestly if I stay this size I am cool with that, I Can wear some 10's and 12's I will always be a bigger girl I have a huge frame and I am tall so I am not going to let the weight get me down, I am more concerned with keeping up my physical gains with running and lifting that is what I am going to go by, I think that will make me feel better.

Reva- you enjoyed working out, take that soda money and try to get back to it, if for nothing else to have a little me time and do something good for you. Maybe with summer coming you can swing it with the kids and stuff.

Did I add how happy I am that you are back with us?? I missed you!

I missed you too Amber!!!! It feels awesome to be back. I can't believe how much weight I let myself gain before I got to the point that enough is enough. Thankfully, I saw the light and decided to get myself healthy again. I am happy eating the way I am right now so I don't care if it takes longer I am going to keep it off this time around.

I can't wait to get back to the gym. I miss it most of all I think. That hour each day I allowed myself was so peaceful and it was all about me.

A 10 or 12 is awesome girlie. You have come so far. That is the perfect size if you ask me. Any skinner, your body may not look right being so tall. Right now you look fantastic.

HEY REVA!!! Another tasty looking menu!!! That soda thing is tricky indeed. I'm trying all water and tea for a while. Diet ginger ale is bad.

I've done pretty well except for half a sushi roll last night. Here at the same dayum 10 pounds....lol Yea 2 weeks of focus should do it. My sisters bday is next weekend. I can make it thru that pretty easily. Its the Mother's Day all day breakfast into supper-palozza. But thats 2 weeks exactly so I'm gonna try to tough it out!!!

My coworker that eats with me daily said his doctor is on him so we arre on a salad kick. That really helps. Today was A pound of steamed shrimp for 8 bucks and salad bar. More salad and grilled wings for dinner or steak. 3 good days! Scale is dropping.
