I must say that I haven't been on weight watchers. I just feel so over whelmed with all that has been going on. I am a chocoholic and I can't and will never be able to have chocolate again if I want to get this weight off and keep it off. I can't stay away from it. It is a horrible addiction. I feel trapped.

Reva hun, you can have chocolate but you are going to have to learn moderation with it, you are going to have to have one small square as a reward at one time during the day you did so well on LC so I know you can do it, I am not going to let you give up on yourself! Do WW they seem to allow a little more, just limit yourself to one chocolate thing per day and let that be your reward and tell yourself I can eat chocolate anytime I want but I choose to eat this at this time and that is all! You can do it!!! Its time for tough love, you got too far to erase all that you did!!!! We all love you and are here to support you!!! Let us help you with this! I know you want it for yourself!

Amber thank you for always being here for me. I just can't ever seem to catch a break. This weekend I was able to leave the chocolate alone but had a horrible tragedy in my family. My brothers son attempted suicide. He is only 16. The way he attempted it just scares the hell out of me. I feel helpless all the time it seems over these past several months. I have zero control on anything and it is tearing me up mentally and physically. Next Tuesday we leave for South Carolina for my step sons graduation from basic training. I am praying once we get back life will slow down and I can get some help for myself. I am going to check into getting some medicine for all the stress I have been going thru the past several months. I don't know what else to do.

Izzy hugs back to you.

THANK GOODNESS YOU POSTED!!! I lknow how you feel. Yesterday I ate enough carbs and junk to sink a battleship. I see the slow unraveling of all that work haqppening before my eyes!!! Can't have that at all! I know the chocolate addiction allll to well. Just one doesn't cut it some days at all. But you can work through it. Good Ole TOM wanted everything but the kitchen sink and wouldn't take no for an answer. So the guilt set in on the ride home. Nothing to do but start again!

Reva- You have had a lot going on and it might be a good idea to get some medicine to help you calm down, and then put things into focus, one thing you cant control others only you, the **** is going to fly on any given day we have seen that! You know what you need to do!!! We are all here waiting to help when you need it!!! That is tragic about your nephew!

Happy to report that I am now taking something for the stress and the doctor put me on metformin. They are both helping a lot. I am proud to say that I am day 2 free from my 4 44oz fountain diet mt dews that I have been normally drinking a day. Also, had a girls night out last night. It was very much needed. We went to the new casino thats in St Louis and then went to Golden Corral. I was so proud of myself for not gorging. I barely ate a small pork chop and some shrimp. I didn't even feel tempted to hit the dessert bar so I must say I am pretty happy. I am taking small steps into getting back to "ME" but I do see her poking her head out.

Nikki I am willing to give ww a try but right now I have to get myself away from the sweets and with ww I am still feeling like I over eat with the s/f sweets. It is weird but I am not ruling out the plan either.

This thread might be helpful to you. These are people who do WW but try to keep it low carb. I don't post in it but I do read it from time to time.

WW and LC....Can they coexist?

Nikki thank you for sharing the link. I will be sure and check it out today.

So far today this is what my menu looks like:

B~ tuna packet with 1 tbsp dukes mayo

L~ 2 slices healthy life bread (5g carbs each), 1 slice cheese, 1 tsp dukes mayo and 2 slices of baked ham lunch meat

I am going to check and see how many ww points it is. I am wanting to get back to low carb but I feel like I need to do it with fruits as well so I am going to see what I can come up with.

REVA LET'S GET BACK TO IT TOGETHER!!! I think Nikki is right on spot with the WW LC combo!!! It will help you control portions and if u need a hit of chocolate, you just use the points.

B - One egg, one patty, 2 bacon strips
L- Chicken Bacon Ranch salad from Quizzno's
D- I want steak and salad??? Or make the LC pizza crust and eat faux pizza!

Martini that is the sad thing, I am afraid of just the one hit of chocolate. It leads me into a whirlwind of disaster every time.

I did just end up eatting some apple slices after my sandwich and it actually hit the spot.

I am ready to get this weight off again so I say LETS DO IT!!!!

I added the points up and it ended up being 16 points used so far today. I have a bunch more to go for the day.

Dinner is suppose to be smothered pork steaks so I am thinking I will just make me a pork steak normal cut in half of course and have some cauliflower with butter. I just bought some strawberries at the store today so planning on those for snack tonight.

Hi Nikki and Martini!!! I hope you ladies have an awesome day.

Down two days of no fountain diet dew now. WOO HOO!!! I had only 2 cans of diet dew Yesterday. That is super huge progress for me. I also did not indulge in any sweets. I did have a fiber one bar last night but that was it.

I don't want to get on the scale for a few days and see how I do. I stay clear of the scale when not trying to watch my weight but the minute I try and eat healthier I want to jump on it ten times a day.

I went to the Hospital this morning to have some blood work done that the Dr ordered. He wants to make sure nothing else is going on.

So glad you got some blood work done. Let us know what the doctor says.

Good job on cutting down on the pop! I drink one can of diet coke zero a day. The rest of the day I drink water.
