Reva the weight piling on is no joke, we all got the same problem we are sponges man, all 3 of us, and it is frightening, I can never ever go back to eating like I did and I dont want to and that is why I feel the exercise is so important it does help to keep it off!

I am going to follow you with interest and see if after surgery maybe I will do WW too, I like that it allows all foods and let me tell you I heard that icecream, LOL

Sara I don't know much about the old plan on WW but from what I have heard that most fruits and veggies are 0 points which are used as power foods. Hopefully, Nikki knows more than I do and can enlighten us.

Seeing how high the scale actually was reading has got me more determined than ever to get this weight off and keep it off forever.

I do want to get back to the gym but at the moment I need to take it one step at a time. I think by this time next week I may be ready. I am just worried I will get overwhelmed and get stressed and fail. I actually joined back at the gym last night and went only one freaking time in a month. How pathetic is that?

Amber I am excited you are getting to have your other surgery. How long is the recovery time?

I agree, definitely get into a groove with your new eating plan for at least a week or 2 and then start back at the gym. You don't want to set yourself up to get tripped up!
And you're not pathetic at all, you're back on track, so stop the negativity!!! Praise yourself for going when you did, don't beat yourself up for not going!

Reva- do you know how many people we have seen come and go on here, and usually they come and go and never come back, you did, that is huge!!! You want to help yourself and you know support is one of the main factors in helping to lose weight, no negativity, only positive, you are doing the right thing, why dont you take some time, work this plan, maybe get under 300 again,and then say OK now I will begin the gym, go slow like say you are going 3 times a week, dont say OK now I am going 5 days a week, or nothing, you got kids, stuff get sin the way but you gotta do it and you need the time for you too, you like tanning, why not make that another incentive, when you lose 25 pounds you tan again??

Reva- surgery is 3/2 I am going to hopefully be back to work after 2 weeks 3 at the most i hope, I am hoping the pain is not bad like the arms that was surprisingly easy on me, so I am keeping my fingers crossed, and no exercise at the gy, for 2 months, that is the killer I think after week 4 I can walk on the treadmill thank goodness!

Amber I love the way you think. I must say I have to agree with you. I will take your advice and weight till I am down under the awful three mark. It just horrifies me knowing I got back to that point to begin with but it takes determination to get to where we want to be in life. I will get there. One bite at a time.

I never did the old WW plan so I don't know alot about it. But I was told by my mom that they upped the points in all the carb foods and they made fruits and most veggies free. They also lowered the points of the protein foods.

Reva, I'm glad you are seeing a lost already. How's day 2 going for you?

Nikki day two is going great. I feel like I have ate way too much food but I am still shy 2 points of meeting my daily total needed.

B~ 2 egg omelet with ham and sauteed onion
S~ Strawberry shortcake yoplait light
L~ Chicken carbonara, s/f jello, banana
S~ 3 fiber one bars ()
D~ Beef roast and kfc mashed potatoes with gravy
S~ smart one ice cream brownie sundae again, peanuts

I feel like I ate a ton.

Good morning Reva. When I first started I had 42 or 43 points and I felt like I was eating all the time and still had problems reaching my daily points. Now I only get 35 so I don't have problems reaching them. Sometimes on hungry days I even use a couple of my weekly points.

Good Morning Nikki. That is the boat I am in right now. I felt like I was eating non stop Yesterday. My kids kept saying "Mom are you sure you can have that." It was cute seeing them looking out for me.

That scale was actually down again this morning. I want to count it but I am trying to hold out until next Wednesday which is going to be my official weigh in days. I guess I am just nervous about the foods I am eating and actually losing eating them. It just seems odd since I was forbidden most of the stuff while low carbing.

EAT ALL THOSE POINTS!!!! Don't waste them....lol We will get back under the Ugly 3 soooon enough!!! Glad the kids are being helpful.....LOL I think doing LC then switching to WW works for alot of people. You will do just fine!

Good Morning Nikki and Martini. It was a busy weekend but I survived it. I did use a few of my extra points but otherwise did fantastic. I know I will do just fine eating like this.

I made faux cheescake thingie last night. I think I love it and should make a big bowl. Nah I will keep making it in the little half cup container that goes into the microwave! You seem to be chugging right along!!! So awesome to have you back! I'm gonna look in my magic ball...yep I see 4 pounds lost!!!

Happy Valentines Day to you Amber and Martini.

Martini I often wonder what would be the result if I went back to low carb and got a great deal of weight off and then switched to WW. I love my steak as well and hate having to count the points for it.

I did over indulge in Chinese today that hubby and I enjoyed for Valentines Day. Either way the scale goes in the morning, I finally feel like I am in control again.

Happy Valentine's Day Reva! I still eat steak but I can add a half of a baked potato and a veggie. You can eat anything as long as you have the points for it. I think maybe your brain is still thinking low carb.

This morning was my first "OFFICIAL" weigh in while on weight watchers. I am down 4.6 pounds for the first week. This puts a huge on my face. I even ate too much Chinese Yesterday. I am really liking this plan. I just miss my big fat Steaks.

OMG!!! I SAID 4 Pounds!!! And you did better!!! Forget steak! You get dessert..LOL You must be soooo proud. I think u should stick to WW for a while and see. You still have the huge loss from LC in the bank. Heck you are losing at the LC rate anyway. Enjoy the snacks!

Amber I love the fiber one bars but OMG they give me the horriblest gas......LOL. I don't know which is worse the after effects of chinese or the embarrassment of the horrible gas attacks.

Thank you Sara and Nikki. I plan on keeping at it and see what happens.

Martini I love having desert. It makes this plan seem so easy and I feel guilty like I am cheating.

hi Reva, yeah fiber makes you gassy but its a good thing,once you get used to eating more you will lose the gas!

Umm where thee yahoo is Reva??? Heck tomorrow is weigh in isn't it? I will tell my self she is off diligently counting her points and shrinking...I think 2.8 pounds this week.
