The scale finally moved in the right direction!!!

I did really well Yesterday on the road. I ate my breakfast before I left home. I took lots of water with me and then just drank a low carb slim fast shake at noon on the way back home that I had froze before we left. Then at dinner I hate a mini crustless pizza that I made.

Today, Jeriah has an appointment and I have a few things I have to get done. Then, home to do some insurance stuff for my parents and then dying my hair and frosting my Moms hair. I am going to the gym this evening so I will get in a good work out.

B~ Hot green tea with s/f vanilla davinci, 1 boiled egg

L~ turkey burger, 1 boiled egg, lc ketchup

D~ steak, big salad, ranch

Getting excited that I am almost out of the 30's. I would like to lose another 3 pounds before the 12th. That will mark 60 days back on plan.

I don't have a lot of plans today except for actually getting mine and my Moms hair done this morning. I am also planning on hitting the gym sometime today. Other than that I am making it a leisure day with the family.

I am upset with myself that I let myself do all the snacking on legal food that I did last night. I ate for no reason. I know I wasn't even hungry. I am back to the grind stone this morning. I will make my goal for November.

My menu was changed a bit Yesterday. Everything at lunch and dinner was changed. I had a EAS shake for lunch, macadamia nuts for snack and s/f jello with whipped cream for snack at night. Dinner was pork stew meat, 1 tbsp lc ketchup, and fried cabbage.

I am doing my workout video this morning of Leslie Sansone and going to do the thigh master. I haven't taken measurements but I really need to. I am waiting for the baby to take his morning nap and then I am gonna do it to it.

I just made my own protein shake. The first time I did it the shake was nasty but this time it was oh so yummy.

I blended crushed ice, unsweetend almond milk, 2 tbsp. hwc, squirt of s/f vanilla davinci and 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein. It is rich and creamy and really hits the spot.

Oh!! Yeah! A baby!!! That is why I am back actually! My DR and I have made a plan so that I can start trying to conceive! I am so excited, but need to start getting this weight off and maintaining my diabetes. I am so happy to have found you!! We were a force to be reckoned with back in the day! Lol! I never dreamed of having another baby but I am so blessed. I don't know what I ever did without Jeriah. I went into the hospital and had a heart Cath. I just never could recover. Come to find out I was pregnant the whole time and was never tested for it while in the hospital. I nearly died the whole time I was pregnant. They had put me on a heart medication I was allergic to and didn't find out until 3 months after he was born. I have a facebook page and there are pics on there. I am under Reva Hutchinson. I will add you if you have face book.

We will definitely have to stay in close contact now.

I am so happy you are going to try and have another baby. How many do you have? You got married I do remember that I think....LOL

Yes! I did get married! The same month I got to goal I met my husband! We were married 4mths later and had my son Zachary all in the same year. Then I gained it all back! But I am here now, still happily married with my two kids in tow. Micayla is 11 and Zachary is 4. And we cant wait to have another one! Your little boy is sooooo cute!!! I think I am the last person on earth that doesnt have facebook though! Lol!

So sorry to here about your heart issues and the pregnancy! That must have been so scary! I am so glad everything worked out and to see you here losing! You are doing so amazing!!! You are gonna pass me by soon!

On Friday I will be on plan for 60 days. I am extremely thrilled with my results. Only .6 of a pound and I will have lost 50 pounds. I am so amazed that I could make it this far. Why in the heck did I weight so long?

Christmas is nearing quickly and I refuse to let the sweets derail me or send me in a tornado that I will not survive in this time. All it took last time was that one piece of fudge at the church Christmas part. Thats why this time I am prepared with all the low carb deserts I could possibly dream of making if I am wanting sweets at Christmas.


Today is bill paying day and I have to pick up a bunch of crap we need at Walmart. I doubt honestly that I will make it to the gym so I am calling today a rest day from exercising. I need to buy me some new shirts. The ones I own are hanging off of me and so old they are thinning out. I may pick up a couple while out today.

B~ Made another protein shake with 1 scoop chocolate whey protein, 12 ounces unsweet almond milk, squirt of s/f vanilla davinci(yummy).

L~ 3 oz. leftover steak, 1 boiled egg

Brandy that is so exciting to have another baby! I am praying you are blessed with one sometime soon. Time sure did fly by. Sounds like you are blessed with an amazing family too.

I am still happily married. We have two 17 year olds, 1 of which I have raised my nephew for the past 3 1/2 years, Faith is 14 now and Cody is 9. Then we have Jeriah our newest edition.

I am in college online and almost done with my associates in accounting. I am going on for a bachelors which I will be done within a year. I think by then my Mom will retire and I can go back to work. I am not ready to let the baby go to daycare.

Today marks 2 months on plan. I am down. 49.4 pounds. I couldn't be more pleased with my results. I get frustrated at times when the scale doesn't move but I need to also realize that is a lot of weight in a very short time. Slow and steady wins the race right?

Heading off to St. Louis this morning with my Mom and the baby. I have five kiddos to buy Christmas for so I better get my butt in gear.

My exercise today will be walking in the mall. I would like to make it to the gym but not sure thats going to happen to be honesty.

I am blaming the gain on not eating dinner last night. Even though I had a very late lunch at Golden Corral (awesome buffet), I did really well. I stopped when full and didn't over eat. I didn't eat dinner last night because I wasn't hungry at all. I did snack on a 1 oz serving of macadamia nuts last night though. Anyway, the pound will come right back off.


Diane I have never tried spaghetti squash before. I would like to try it soon though. How do you prepare yours and what do you make with it? Thank you so much for the kuddos. You are awesome.


Today I am not sure what is going on. I don't know if I am babysitting just yet or not. If I don't I plan on doing some more shopping...LOL It doesn't get to happen often but I have got to get some Christmas shopping done. I got a few things Yesterday but time just flew by so I didn't do near as much as I had planned.

B~ 2 egg omelet with crumbled sausage and a tiny bit of shred. cheese

L~ Tuna, boiled egg, 1 tbsp mayo

D~ pork stew meat, 1 tbsp lc ketchup, cauliflower with butter


I got some Christmas shopping done. It wasn't much but its a start huh? I ended up taking an evening to myself with no kiddos and no hubby. My sister in law and I went out to dinner at Apple Bee's. I had a bourbon street steak with shrimp grilled onion and mushroom and then a tiny bit of broccoli. Over all, I think I did well. The scale was down .4 this morning so it couldn't have been too bad. I then bought myself 3 new shirts, 2 of which I am taking back. I don't like the way they fit. I wasn't going to buy myself any clothes but all of my shirts are starting to look horrible on me.


Today, I am going to get some cleaning done and possibly take those shirts back. Other than that I am not getting out much. It is freezing cold out.

I boil mine...the problem I have boiling it is getting it to cook evenly on all sides. Some people slice it and nuke it or bake it. If you google you can find different ways. I would nuke it but I guess I don't have the proper knife (or chain saw) to cut it open!!!

Once you conquer cooking it, the ideas are endless...just treat like noodles. I have added pasta sauce and meat. My favorite is to add an alfredo sauce with some chicken. Some posts I have read people just add butter and maybe parmeson to it. It is a higher carb veggie though (I think) so if carb counts matter then keep that in mind...but on the other hand, it is a veggie

I didn't end up cooking it after all, probably Wed because I will be home

I gotta get a grip on things. It seems like since I went out to eat both Friday and Saturday this past week that it has derailed me. I have been snacking ALOT in the evenings for no reason. I have to go to an athletes meeting and stuff at the high school for my newphew tonight so that will keep me out of the house a while and busy. I CAN AND WILL CONQUER THE SNACKING MONSTER.

I got the exercise video done Yesterday. I am going to shoot for a longer one this morning.


Diane thanks so much for sharing this with me. I can't wait to pick one up and give it a try. I won't be doing any major grocery shopping until the first of next week so it won't be before then. I bet it is delish with alfredo sauce and chicken. (Licks lips).
