Reva, when I first started working out in January I also gained a little. I've heard this from other people on the exercise board. It's probably just water retained in sore muscles, or that you're building muscle and the fat hasn't unloaded it's water yet. Hang in there! It took mine like 2 weeks to get back to where I was, but I'm sure yours will go much faster since you're vlc.

Do you watch Glee at all? I have all the Glee music and love it. Especially their Journey songs :P

I love journey!! I may have to check them out.

I have been going to the gym since 12/28/10 five days a week. It is just frustrating sometimes knowing I am working my butt off and the reward is seeing the scale go up and up.

Thank you Casey!!! Look at how much you have lost too girlie so fast!!!!

Edens I hear that all the time from these girls around here........LOL I wouldn't have it any other way. Trust me, it helps keep me moving forward and never looking back. I think that is why I get so upset when I see a small gain. I don't want to fall backwards at all.

Here is todays menu:

B~ 2 boiled eggs

L~ hamburger with chive/onion cream cheese

D~ Top sirloin steak with 1 tbsp lc ketchup

Today at the gym I will be doing a legs/calves/glutes workout.

The baby took a very early nap so when he wakes I will feed him and then we are off to get some last minute stuff for my daughters birthday party on Saturday while she is at school.

Tomorrow is the big day back in St. Louis for my OB/GYN appointment. I am getting very nervous but I do want to find out whats going on. Then, going to pick up Faith a few gifts. She will be the big 15 this year. Lord help me, she is already been practicing driving with her Pa Pa.

Good luck at the dr appt !!! I hope all is well.

Good job on the workouts and eating. You are doing so well. I know it's so tough seeing that scale go up a little but I agree it's probably the water weight from working out. It's amazing what lack of sleep, stress, and working out does to our bodies. But you will be so much better in the long run !!!!!

Keep up the good work !

Reva, you've been going to the gym for 2 months, but the Zumba is new. Combine that with ToM and the stress you've had lately and yeah, water. All of the smart ladies here are right. It'll come off without much problem Patience is the key. Besides, what else are we gonna do? We have a deal.

Thank you so much!!!!! I do get plenty of sleep but have a whole lot of stress on me right now.

BWYA way to go keeping me in check!!!!

I made it to the gym tonight and got my legs/glutes/calves workout done. I also did 10 minutes on treadmill to warm up and cool down. I layed in the tanning bed for 7 minutes tonight. I so needed the peace and quiet even if it was only a few minutes.

Time to shower and get ready for AI!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reva- Please tell me we are both making so much muscle that we are gaining, I know EXACTLY how you feel, but if we keep doing what we are doing ti has to catch up soon!

I ate a broiled crabcake at lunch and boiled shrimp on salad tonight with some feta my new thought is seafood and see if that moves the scales but I am starving!

There is not alot we can do but wait, and wait and wait for that whoosh fairy to come and see us!

Good luck at the OB GYN tomorrow!

Hugs!!!
Amber

I can't remember what time your appt is (if you even said) and don't have time to look. I'll just have to take breaks to pop on and see when you get back.

I just finally made it home from St. Louis. I am suppose to call for the exact time and date but it looks like I am having surgery sometime next week. The Dr. said it is probably a cyst and it is a little bigger than a walnut in size. He will have it tested to see if it is cancerous or binyne(sp.) He is also going to do an Endometrial ablation. I will post later with more details.

Thank you all for thinking of me today. I don't know what I would do without my LCF family.

I think this is good news! Still a bit scary until it's all said and done, I know... Okay, that and surgery stinks, but ovarian cysts are common and the vast majority are benign. I bet your biopsy comes back just fine. Continued prayers for your successful ablation, easy removal of the cyst, and normal lab results.
