I'm so glad you're feeling better and have energy. It sure is amazing how much energy we get from LC. How neat that the church has a gym and you don't have to be a member to use it. We have a balcony that wraps around the gym of the church that I attend, and sometimes ladies go to walk there, but there's a day care during the day, so I have never done that.

Have a great day, Reva.

Krysta please feel free to stop by anytime.

Sue that would be something fun to do at your church. Then you would also have someone to talk to. I know I do better walking when I have someone to chat with. It seems like we walk a whole lot longer without even realizing it.

I used to have a walking partner in our neighborhood and 2 miles seemed like nothing. When I'm by myself I can't hardly make it two miles because time seems to go by so slowly.

I honestly don't see me walking outdoors much until the weather warms up. It is 27 right now and I don't feel like freezing to death. I do plan on going to check out the gym this weekend.

Too cold to walk. We live in the country, but too many people have gotten mean dogs in the past few years so I never go walking by myself anymore. My youngest DS was attacked by a dog riding his bike with DH. He went for his ankle, but didn't break through the skin. So, we don't ride bikes or walk much anymore, which is too bad because we have a great area for that.

awww that is sad. Do you have any parks are anything you could take the bikes to? I live on a busy street so my kids have to ride there bikes at Grandmas. There I am able to walk in her subdivision.

We do have a park a couple miles away. But, for right now I have to just do weights because I have tendinitis in my foot and am in pain all day from it. Walking would put me out for days.

Diane I can't wait to hit the grocery stores for my big grocery order again. I am so ready to dig into all my recipes and old favorites.

Today has been a really good day. I ate totally on plan and all was followed except exchanging the cauliflower for leftover green beans at dinner.

I drank 96 oz of water today and that is the most I have consumed since starting again. I want to be to drinking 1/2 my weight in ounces soon. I feel so much better and my complexion really clears up.

Jess thanks for the confidence in me. I know it will be a long journey but I am ready for it. We will get to goal before we know it. It just takes one bite at a time.

Torri you are doing well yourself. Keep on keepin.

The scale was down .4 of a pound this morning so I am happy. No gains for me please. The weekends are usually the toughest for me and I refuse to let it bring me down this time. Sometimes I tend to over eat on the good stuff.

Its already 10am and I haven't had breakfast yet. So, I am assuming I will just have a hot cup of green tea with s/f vanilla davinci to get me going.

Lunch will be 1 can of tuna, one large boiled egg, 2 tbsp mayo and some celery

Snack~ 1 slice of cheese made into cheesits

Dinner will be one hamburger with 1 slice of cheese, 1.5 cups caul/broc. mix with 1 pat of butter

I decided it would be best not to skip a meal just because it was getting late. I know how important it is getting three meals a day in. So, I ended up changing my menu all together and eating at different times for each meal. 10, 2, and 6 is good.

B~ 2 lg fried eggs, 2 strips bacon
L~ Salad from bag with 1 tbsp shred. cheese and 2 tbsp ranch
D~ 6 oz hamburger, 1 slice cheese, 1.5 cups cauliflower with 1 tbsp butter
S~ 2 oz cream cheese with s/f vanilla davinci or hot green tea

When I woke up this morning I decided to try and stay off of the scale for a day. I don't know if I can do it or not but it is sure worth a try. Tomorrow will make one week back on atkins. I am hoping everything I had accomplished during the past week sticks tomorrow on the scale.

I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with some big turkey legs I had bought at the store this week. So, I ended up throwing them in the crockpot with a 1/2 jar of thick and chunky salsa. I am hoping that they turn out good. The house is smelling delish already.

I don't have any plans today. Dh is gone and so are the two older kids today. It is just me and my six and three year old at home. I am hoping to get some dvr time in today. I love laying around drinking my hot green tea and watching movies. It is supose to rain so there not alot of outdoor activitites I could do anyway.

B~ hot green tea with s/f vanilla davinci, lg boiled egg
L~ 1 can of tuna, 1 lg boiled egg, 2 tbsp. mayo
D~ turkey leg with salsa, 1.5 cups green beans, 1 pat of butter

Diane I really do enjoy eating breakfast. The said thing is I was enjoying the wrong breakfast foods for such a long time.

The scale settled at 323 this morning. This makes a total weightloss for the week of 14 pounds in seven days. It feels wonderful to be back on the right trach to eatting healthy and getting this unwanted FAT off.

The first time around I did a update photo of my weightloss journey monthly. This seemed to help me stayed focused more. I haven't taken one yet but I do plan on having my daughter take one this even. I like to avoid the camera if at all possible. I hate mirrors and anything I can see my reflection in.

B~ hot green tea with s/f vanilla davinci, 2 boiled eggs
L~ 6 oz hamburger, sm. salad with 2 tbsp ranch
D~ roast, broc./caul. mix with 1 tbsp butter
S~ hot green tea with s/ vanilla davinci

Reva~14 pounds is wonderful. You're on the road to better health.

Looks like you like green tea. I like Stash's Moroccan Mint, but I'm out right now and it's on my list of things to get today.

Sue Green tea has always been one of my favorites while on my Woe. It is very satisfying and curbs the appetite when I feel the need to eat off plan.

Hey Amber! Thanks for poppin in.

I had a really good day today. I decided to go out job looking today since I go back to work in a few days. I am really dreading going back to my old job. The doubles 2 and 3 times a week are killing me. Anyway, I got home from putting in some applications and one of the places I am really interested in called me to come in for an interview tomorrow afternoon. I am excited and it is more money.

I wasn't hungry at all for lunch so I eliminated the hambuger and just had my salad. I added a boiled egg to it and some cheese so I still got some protein in.

Ketosis has kicked in big time. I don't get hungry anymore and my mouth tastes and smells horrible. I feel like I have a metal mouth. I checked and the keto sticks are dark pink.

Sue I haven't had a chance to look at your journal in a few days. What does one or your normal menus look like if you don't mind me asking? I make sure I have plenty of fat in my diet because this always seems to help me stay fuller on top of ketosis.

Diane I will make sure and post about the job once I get back. I ended up putting in another application Yesterday and they called me too. This one is more money. I am not sure which way to go with it now.

The scale was down to 222.2 this morning. The weightloss is slowing down now and I knew it would. I have a handle on things so I am prepared for it. I know the excitement of me seeing the pounds fly off so quickly in the begining is what motivates me to keep at it.

B~hot green tea with s/f vanilla davinci ( just got up at 10am :blush

L~ can of tuna, 1 lg boiled egg, 2 tbsp mayo

D~ baked chicken leg/thigh, green beans, 2 tbsp ranch for dipping

S~hot green tea with s/f vanilla davinci while watching biggest loser tonight

Reva~here is my menu from yesterday, but I'm trying to stay under 20 total carbs. The peanuts threw me off.

B~coffee/cream 2
egg/tuna salad mixture 2

L~meatloaf 1
2 revolution rolls with butter 2

S~peanuts 6
2 oz swiss cheese 2

D~French dip using RR 2
broccoli 4
coleslaw 3

Total - 24 total carbs

Now that I am back to work I have very little computer time.

The good news is that I am down three more pounds. This makes 17 pounds in a week and a half. I thought my eating pattern would be all messed up because of my shift but but I think I have it all worked out. I eat something before I leave at 5:30 am and then eat lunch around 11am. I then have a boiled egg or something for a snack until dinner at 5pm. This seems to be working for now so I am just going with it.

Todays menu:
B~ 2 eggs boiled, 1 tbsp mayo (egg salad)
L~ salad with grilled chicken and 1 tsp cheese, 2 tbsp ranch
S~ boiled egg
D~ lettuce, ground beef, mild sauce, 1 tbsp sour cream, 1 tbsp cheese(no taco seasoning)
