Amber my nephew is like my own. I have raised him for the past 4 years of his life. I am making them chicken fettuccine alfredo with green beans, hot rolls with honey butter and a triple chocolate cake. I think they will all enjoy it. They are all huge at least six feet tall so I know they can get their eat on.

LOL!! It keeps me strong. I use the stuff I know I am not suppose to have to keep me going. I use it as a little test. I have to be mentally strong for my journey or I will never make it. It is just something that I have to do for me.

The dinner at school turned out well with a little added stress. My nephew got lippy at the end and I felt disrespected. So I decided to make sure dinner was done and then I headed off to the gym for some stress releaser. I did 55 minutes on the treadmill and 15 on the elliptical. Now its time to finish up my homework and take a nice hot bath.

My dinner changed a bit. I had pork stew meat just like at lunch with some green beans. I added a tbsp of ranch for dipping.

Reva- that is a shame that all that work your nephew had to get lippy, but he is a young boy try to remember that, then slap him upside the head! Glad you got relief at the gym, I am too, I am going everyday until I get back to 254, geez I was 4 pounds away from a 100, I am such a dumb a** why do I do this to myself? I wish I was stronger!

Since I had just a crazy and busy day Yesterday I didn't get enough water drank. I was praying to be in the 80's this morning. I know I will be there any day now though so no worries here. I also had an awesome cardio workout so its possible I am holding a bit of water from that. I normally make it to the gym between noon and 3 pm but last night I didn't go till 5:30 and didn't get home until almost 7. The owner and I had a great conversation last night. It really made me realize a lot of things with myself. I have came a very long way in such a short amount of time. I have only been going to the gym for a month and I am already showing a huge amount of progress. I am noticing the differences in myself when I go even. Joining the gym is one of the best things I ever did for myself.

I do have a lot of cleaning and laundry that I need to work on today. I need to also run to get some baby formula. Other than that I am going to the gym and relaxing after that.

B~ omelet with 2 eggs, crumbled bacon

L~ beef stew meat, 1 tbsp ranch

Amber my nephew sent me a text from the game and appologized. I was so mad that I didn't even go to his basket ball game. He said he didn't realize what he said to me in front of people was disrespectful and that he appreciates all I do for him. He really is a good kid but sometimes he lets his mouth over run his but. Wtg on kicking some butt to get all that water off. You can be stronger than you think my friend. It is all about how bad you want it. I know that you can do it.

Martini I just felt like shoving the extra cake in his face and calling it a day but I was nice and just bit my tounge and went on.

Reva- I am so glad he apologized kids are kids! It is amazing how quickly we can work up our endurance I too am totally shocked, I felt like I was having a heart attack after like 3 minutes on the elliptical and now I cant believe I can go 30 minutes on that thing, I agree it is the best thing I have done and I should have done it years ago, I sure wish we lived close it would be so awesome to have someone to go with, no one talks at my gym like I see the same girls but everyone has their ipods on so no one can here, you know me, I need buddies, LOL

Workout finished for the day.

6 minutes warm up on elliptical and 5 cool down on the treadmill.

Today was chest/back day.

4 sets of 12, 10, 8 and 6 reps

~Chest press on machine 15 pounds on each side
~Lateral row on machine 60 pounds
~lateral pulldown on machine 60 pounds

It doesn't seem like much to me but it felt like a good workout.

Well I think for us the cardio is the biggest thing to burn fat, and then throwing in the weight training will help us look leaner without bulking and get stronger! You are doing great!!!!

Thanks for pointing this out Amber. You are so right and I really never sat here and thought of it like that.

I wished we lived closer as well. It would be awesome having a workout buddy. I would even give up my ipod to have you their working along side of me. I am a jabber box but it takes more if I run my trap instead of just working out. I can tell a big difference when the owner is talking to me while I am doing the machines.

I know I meet with my trainer tonight I will be huffing and puffing trying to talk, I bet she will make me do more than 30 minutes, I look at that timer like OMG I have 18 more minutes! There are 2 girls there all the time they work out like crazy on that elliptical and talk the whole time! I would so love having a buddy but it is fine, the trainer is nice and since we know each other it is fun to talk about the kids.

I did the shred last night since I couldnt drive to the gym, we got over a foot of snow, ughghgg.

Yeah she told me about the cardio and strength training, she said over time building more muscle will burn more fat at rest and help the metabolism, plus we dont want bulging muscles under fat, so it is all good.

I was 255.5 this morning 11 pounds in 4 days I am so glad it wasnt sticking around,I was like geez I wasnt that bad on vacation and we walked and hiked in that park, so I am thrilled it is coming off, although I have been on the Reva diet, I am not eating much and I am starving at night, I think it is a good thing!

Have fun shopping, get some more tight stuff you will be in it in no time flat, I know you will see a new decade tomorrow, I am so waiting for my century post, my goal was 249 by Valentines now that is looking doable again!

WOW!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I have gone a few days without posting in my journal. This is something I look forward to every morning.

I did my measurements Yesterday and although I did see some losses I am not pleased as much as I thought I would be. I will get them together and get them posted so I have them in stone.

I went shopping in St. Louis Yesterday and bought me two new pair of tennis shoes. I really needed them and couldn't pass up a buy one get one 1/2 off deal.


I need to get to the gym sometime today. We are suppose to get our worst ice and snow storm of the year the next three days starting tomorrow. Looks like Leslie Sansone may be my best bud the next few days. I may go this evening after all my meals are finished for the day to work that junk off.....LOL.


My new goal for February is going to be to make it to 277. This will put me at 100 pounds lost since 9/12/10.

I watched a new show last night called HEAVY that I had dvr'd the series. WOW! is all I can say. It truly had an impact on me. I saw some of my old habbits in those people. It makes me want to kick things up about 10 notches.

I have so many of Leslies workout videos that I couldn't begin to name them all.....LOL

Walmart was so crazy this morning that I accidently left my debit card there. Luckily, the worker see it and had it put in the cash office. She said she tried to catch me but I was out of there so quick.

I hope you don't get stuck at work either. I think it is suppose to hit in the morning but not positive.

I ended up getting cuts on the back of me heels this morning from wearing them.

I am so proud of you too Casey!! We are hanging it there. It is so nice to have a friend that is doing the journey right along with me at the same stats. We will get there together. I will take the snow over the ice any day. A few years ago we had ice so bad the power was out almost a week. They are saying that it is a good possibility for power outages again. So, if you don't hear from me then you know what happened.

I went ahead and did a leg workout today. I am afraid I won't make it to the gym the next several days due to the snow and ice storm coming our way.

5 minutes on bike (1 mile) warm up
15 minutes on treadmill
5 minutes on elliptical

4 sets of 12, 10, 8 and 6 reps

Leg press machine

Seated hamstring curl machine

Seated calf machine
