Today and tomorrow are my off days of exercising. I kind of miss it. Sad huh?!!!! I know my body needs time to rest though so I am not going.

I went thru a ton of "FAT" clothes this morning. I took them to a local resale shop and sold them to them for in-store credit. I would have just donated them somewhere otherwise. I got my daughter some stuff and got myself a new microwave cart. I still have some credit so I am going to wait until I lose some more weight to by myself anything clothes wise.

I am thinking of making a night of it and heading to Bingo with a friend. I use to go all the time and loved it but I haven't gone since right before I had Jeriah. The progressive is huge and I sure could use the money.

Hey, Reva~

Am wondering what 1/2 pork steak is size/portion-wise? I don't really eat pork steaks (not even sure what it is! we don't each much pork apart from ham) so I have no way to understand your portions. Thanks!

Reva- I know I cannot believe I am loving the gym, I would have bet my right arm I would never be typing that I love it, I am going tomorrow too. Do you notice that you are more hungry since going? I never used to get really hungry now I am, and I am being pretty strict carb wise?

They have some diet plan there that people can follow most of the stuff is high carb but the soups are 3 carbs and 23 grams of protein, I love tomato soup, so I got a few of the soups and energy drinks that are 2 carbs try to see if they tie me over.

Amber I can honestly say that since I started back on low carb I have never felt a hunger pain. So, I don't really get hungry after working out either. I am excited you love the gym too. I thought maybe it was just me. LOL

BWYA a 1/2 pork steak for me was approx. 3 to 4 ounces. I buy the big juicy ones from Sams. I hope this helps.

Be back later to post my dailies. I am off to buy a cooking bag to roast my turkey I am making today.

See your still going strong, keep it up and you'll be there before you know it. I noticed you joined a gym? Which local one did you decide on. I thought about joining one but, I hate being out in public. Guess that's why I work nights and all.

I joined Macs Gym in Park Hills on Main Street. It is $30 a month with no joining fee. They are awesome there. It is a 24 hour gym which is great.

I supose I am holding on to water from working out. Praying for a whoosh to come in the next few days. My body has been thru a whole lot of changes in the past two weeks. So, I know it is going to have to take some time to get adjusted.

I just threw a turkey in the oven to roast for dinner. I bought one right after Thanksgiving and got an awesome deal so decided today was the day to make it. I am in such a cooking mood and not sure why....LOL I even made homemade Mac n cheese for the family. I am making them a cake and some mashed taters. I am making me some green beans. Decided today is a veggie day for me since I haven't been eating them much lately.

I roasted a huge turkey Yesterday and for some ungodly reason I grazed off of it all evening long. I wasn't even hungry. It just tasted so darn yummy. Oh well, the water weight will come off in a day or so.

We are supose to get some nasty weather tonight so I am going to try and get an awesome workout today at the gym. I don't drive in the snow and I doubt hubby will want to drive me to the gym tomorrow. I have several Leslie Sansone workout dvds that I can do thankfully. Tomorrow will be a cardio day so it will all work out none the less.

I am looking forward to this weekend. It will be almost three weeks since I joined the gym. I am going to measure again and see if I have lost any inches. I am feeling a difference in these disgusting looking arms of mine. We shall see.

Ya know Reva someone else on here reported that eating turkey makes them gain, isnt that weird? I had a 3 pound loss from Fri-Monday I am thinking the gym will make for some flucuations so don't get stressed maybe it is the water levels, fat burning muscle building thingy! They are calling for a bad storm here Tues into Wed, yes maybe I can stay home and start packing for Vegas, LOL

Amber going to Vegas sounds fun. I am so jealous. I have never been before.

I just got home from the gym and the store. I picked up some extra milk and bred. We are supose to get several inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. I did the elliptical, treadmill and weights for the legs. I was supose to do the chest but the guys were all hogging the machines. I will get it in tomorrow with the rest of my workout. I am praying I get to make it. After having 2 accidents within 30 minutes apart several years back in the snow I just don't like driving in the stuff anymore.

My menu has changed today. I had tuna with mayo for lunch and it made me sick for some reason. I spent the afternoon in and out of the bathroom throwing up. I don't know what the deal was because I love tuna. Dinner is going to be a hamburger patty with 1 tbsp lc ketchup.

It's suppose to change over to freezing rain tonight. I guess I'll have another day off tomorrow. I just hope I can get to the hospital for those 3 test Wed. Have a good night sweetie.

Awww Laura I didn't realize you was having test done on Wednesday. Will say a prayer you can make it there and all goes well.

I love tuna so I am not sure what happened. I didn't eat any breakfast so I am thinking maybe tuna just isn't good on an empty stomach.

The snow just started really coming down around 5pm here. It teased us around noon time for about 20 or 30 minutes and then it quit. I want to be able to make it to the gym tomorrow though.

I like seeing 295 on the scale far better than the 298. It was starting to worry me a bit getting to close to 300 again. I refuse to let myself ever see that number on the scale again. I want to be as far away from it as possible.

Amber it was great chatting with you last night. We will have to do it again soon.

I am going to brave driving to the gym today. I really really just hate missing it. Today is suppose to be a cardio day so it won't be so bad. I am going to do some weights for the chest today too though. I didn't get to them Yesterday since the men were hogging those benches that I needed.

Amber thanks for asking. My tummy is much better today. I think I know what happen though. I take potassium pills and if gives me an awful taste in my my and yucky feeling if I don't eat with it. I didn't eat breakfast Yesterday so I am almost sure that is what happened.

I did make it to the gym and did 45 minutes on the treadmill and 10 on the elliptical Today was a cardio day so I didn't do anything else. The weather was bad but I braved the streets to get there.

I am going to watch the Biggest Loser tomorrow. It is dvr'd because the kids and hubby are watching Despicable Me.

That would be a tough one for me. I don't know that I could leave my 9 1/2 year old home alone. I wouldn't get a thing accomplished. I would probably be a nervous wreck and be on the phone with him all.

When I got to Wal Mart, he can take the cart get all the groceries and pay while I get my nails done, the nail people are always like OMG my kids would be buying video games, LOL He is such a good boy, but I worry like crazy about him since he is my only kid, I am a little bit like helicopter, LOL

I am relaxing drinking coffee, and reading the board, I am not killing myself to get my job thins morning, LOL

I have six really good kids and I worry like crazy! It's not that I worry too much about them as much as things that would be out of their control (power outage, fire, people coming to the door...) If the only thing to worry about was the child, that's relatively easy to overcome, but all of the unknowns... I think your "helicopter" mode is okay. Who else is going to love your son like his mother?

Reva, I was so excited to see 2.4lbs drop off of you post-turkey! w00t!

I hope you have a great day. Hopefully the weather won't be too bad for you. I don't miss that winter stuff, though we're getting the cold without the snow. It's 19° here in Central Texas. That's insane. I don't like it!

Dh and the kids are home today need I say more? I just got finished putting them a big pot of chilli on for today. It makes for an easy dinner with little clean up.

Looks like I am exactly the same as a week ago. What gives? I am praying for a nice whoosh any day now.
I would love to meet my goal for January and then some. I know it is doable. My body is just doing the normal think it does every time I reach a new level of weight range.

Today is a weight day at the gym and I am actually looking forward to it. Crazy as it sounds but the pain of lifting those weights makes me feel like I have accomplished something. I know the benefits of the pain will pay off in the end.

B~ 2 fried eggs in butter, 2 strips bacon

L~ hamburger with 1 tbsp. lc ketchup

D~ beef stew meat, 1 tbsp ranch

BWYA I was excited to see it drop so quickly too. There is leftovers in the fridge and I won't touch them. I am not chancing another gain.

Amber sounds like you got yourself a fine young man there. Momma is raising him well.

One word EXERCISE

Maybe it is time to pay attention to the measuring tape instead of the scale for a bit while your body adjusts to your exercise regime?

I had an awesome workout at the gym today. I did 15 minutes on the treadmill and then did 4 sets of 12, 10, 8 and 6 on the shoulders, chest, back and calves. I feel great. I really pushed myself today and so glad I did.

I just realized today is my 4 month atkinsversary and down 82 pounds. It feels great to be so in control of "ME" for a change.

Lunch changed to an EAS chocolate fudge shake. I wasn't hungry at all but knew I needed something for my workout at the gym.

Reva- you are doing great, now I notice that I lose like 2.5-3 in a week then I have like a 7 pound week, not sure why I just try not to stress and as long as I am npt cheating too much, LOL I know it catches up, I am sure we probably shocked the crap out of our bods with all the exercise!
