Sorry you haven't felt well.
![]() You look great Krysta, very pregnant, but not fat! I'm sorry about your sore feet. But, you are carrying two boys and that is too be expected. I would have had a hard time working four hours being on my feet when I was pregnant. I retained so much water. Hope you can take it easy and put your feet up over the weekend. |

Have you heard of the Brewer diet? I learned about it in my birth class, and they have a plan for twin mothers. We're right around the corner, Krysta! Can you taste it?

Thanks, bEth and lyn. Sorry its been so long, but I have a good excuse. I ended up in the hospital last monday to have an emergency cerclage surgery. One of the sacs was bulging through my cervix and the Dr. had to push it back in and basically sew up my cervix to save the babies. I am now on bedrest until they are born. I can only get up to pee and shower. So far, the babies are fine. I can get the steroid shot next week to develop their lungs, and after that, its just a waiting game. Please pray for my babies, and pray that my body can keep them in long enough for them to be born safe and healthy!

Hi. I am back and doing pretty good. The first couple weeks after the surgery were a little difficult, adjusting, and recovering. But now I am kindof in a routine and everything seems to be going well. I had a Dr Appt today and the babies sounded fine. I had a sono last week and they looked great. Both were measuring a little bit ahead. I am 25 w 3 days today, will be 26w on Monday. My Drs first goal was to get them to 28 weeks, so I am almost there! I, personally, am hoping to get them to 32 weeks, at least, and the way things are going right now I think that might be doable.
Anyway, I havent taken a picture for almost 6 weeks because of everything, so I took one today after I got back from the Dr. I look awful in it, but oh well. Oh yeah, and only a weeks and a half from being in the 3rd Trimester, I have gained 23 lbs. Not bad, I dont think. My goal was to not gain over 40, so I am doing good, I think! ![]() Last edited by KrystaLyn; 10-16-2008 at 01:55 PM.. |

Oh, I am on bedrest until the boys are born. Its tedious, but worth it, of course. My routine isnt really much of one...I get up, take a shower, get back in bed for the rest of the day (except to go to the bathroom, of course,) watch some tv, then turn off the tv and get on the internet for awhile, I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner all around the same time, wait for Will to get home, then we watch some more tv before going to bed. pretty exciting, I know.

Thanks for the update you beautiful pregnant lady! I miss you when you are not here. In fact, I am shaking my finger at you.....you have no reason not to come and visit us more being in that bed of yours!
![]() You have done so well taking care of these boys! You are the perfect patient! You have obviously been eating healthy considering your weight gain. I bet you are going to be one of those ladies that gets right back into those jeans a couple of weeks after delivery. You'll be coming back on here weighing the same as me again! KUTGW!Hang in there a few more weeks. I will be praying for you. The longer the boys can stay in there the fewer problems they will have...and the sooner you can take them home. I can't believe you are down to just a few weeks. I know you are ready to see those precious babies you have been praying and waiting for for so long! Take care!!!

OH MY GOODNESS LADIES!!!!
I decided to check Krysta's other blog to see if she had posted there. This is what I found......Just thought everyone would want to know what is happening. "You won't hear from me for awhile" Hey Everyone, This is Krysta's sister, Diana. I am writing on Krysta's blog, in her behalf because she is in the hospital on strict bedrest for the duration of her pregnancy and will not have access to the internet. She asked me to inform you of her situation and wants you to know the babies are fine and she is doing well.(considering her circumstances) ..Maybe next time she has access to the internet, she will be able to post pictures of the babies |

Thanks for checking that out for us and reporting back. I was just thinking of Krysta today, wondering if she was still pregnant. I wish she had a laptop in the hospital! I can't wait to "see" her again after the babies are born.

THanks, Beth, for finding that and posting. I HAVE been in the hospital for about 11 days now and finally managed to get internet yesterday! So I thought I would give you guys another update. I am going to past what I wrote in the expecting mommies thread first so I dont have to type it all out again:
I will be here in the hospital till my boys are born...six more weeks, or less, depending on what the boys do! But my Drs said they probably wouldnt let me go longer than 33-34 weeks, if the boys decide to stay in that long. I passed my GTT, which I was a little worried about because of my PCOS, so that was great, and my last u/s, at 26w3d, the boys were 2lbs5oz and 2lbs9oz, so they are little chunks (thats what the dr called them!) I will be 28 weeks tomorrow...our second major milestone. I should be getting another u/s at some point this coming week. I do have the boys checked every shift with the doppler, and have stress tests every couple of days. I had the steroid shots as soon as I got here, so Im good to go if the boys decide to come earlier than we want. But so far, they seem to be happy where they are. So thats the story here. I am HOPING the boys stay in till at least 32 weeks, but even 30 weeks would make me happy. |

My boys are here! William Ashe and Ronan Grayson were both born this morning via c-section at 1:13am. Both boys were 2 lbs 15oz and 15 inches long. They are beautiful and doing suprisingly well. They will bein the NICU for awhile, until they gain another pound and a half and can maintain their weight and body temperatures. I will post pictures when Will brings me my camera.
