I say either two boys or a boy and a girl. But I think either way you will at least have a boy in there. I can't wait to find out!

Hey Krysta,

This is fun. The guessing game. Patiently waiting .

However it is, I know they will be well loved by you and Will .

You're 4 months at the 16th week, if I'm not mistaken, remember a full pregnancy is actually 10 months (40 weeks). I had just turned 9 months pregnant at 36weeks when I had elijah, although I had almost 4 more weeks to go.

Thanks for all the comments, you guys! Well, I finally had a day off, so I was able to take my 18 week pic. Here it is:

You can definitely see that I am getting fuller in the face. I have gained 15 lbs, so far. That seems like a lot to me, but everyone keeps telling me you gain more with twins. And they are boys, to boot! I am HOPING to only gain about 20 more, but they way things are going....YIKES!

Hello beautiful lady! Don't you go worrying about gaining weight! You are doing fantastic! Plus, I know that any weight you gain will come off fast. Are you planning on trying to breast feed? That burns calories like crazy! Plus, it is so healthy for the babies. If anyone can breast feed twins, it would be you! Are you starting to feel better? You should be about to reach the wonderful energy state of pregnancy. Is Will home yet? Time is flying! Now that you know you are having boys you can really start planning and shopping! I want to know every detail so post away please!!!

So, I had thought that Will and I were decided on 2 boy names before we found out, but then once we knew, I find out that apparently we HADNT decided! So we have been trying to come up with a second boy name. The first has been and is still William Ashe, obviously after Will. We will call him Ashe. So on the second name, I wanted to use a name from my side of the family, most particularly after my dad, if possible. Well, his name is Ronald, which doesn't really go with anything and is kindof old fashioned, and he doesnt have a middle name. So I was going through the book AGAIN yesterday and found one that is very similar to Ronald, but way more updated and I threw it out, and Will actually really likes it. As in he keeps bringing it up like we have already agreed on it. Ronan. What do you think? We havent agreed on a middle name to go with it...Will wants Edward, but I'm really not the biggest fan of that name, and it has no special meaning for us. But how about Ashe and Ronan??

LOVE IT!
FWIW, I think Ronan Edward has a nice ring. (BUT- What's the first letter of your last name? If the kid's initials spell out something weird [R.E.D., R.E.B., R.E.K.] forget it.) If it doesn't feel right, though, keep looking! There will be a better name. Somewhere.

I love to look at the meanings of the names to decide

I LOVE THE NAMES YOU PICKED!!!!

Here is what I found to be the meaning of the names:

Name: William
Meaning: Will, desire + helmet, protection
Origin: English

Additional Info for William

William comes from the Germanic elements 'wil' (will, desire) and 'helm' (helmet, protection). It was the 10th most popular name for boys in the US in 2006, and the 7th most popular in the UK.

There have been many rulers named William, including four British kings, various rulers of the Netherlands and two emperors of Germany (known more commonly by the German cognate Wilhelm). There have also been four US presidents named William. Prince William is the eldest son of Prince Charles of Wales, the heir to the British throne.

Famous bearers include the English playwright and poet William Shakespeare, author of 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Macbeth' and 'Hamlet', among many others. William Butler Yeats was an Irish poet and William Kidd a 17th century pirate.

Name: Ashe
Origin: Hebrew
Meaning: Fortunate; blessed; happy

Additional info for Ashe
In the Old Testament, Asher was the 8th son of Jacob and the second son of Zilpa, the maid of Jacob’s wife Leah. He was also the founder of the Tribe of Asher.

Name: Ronan
Origin: Gaelic
Meaning: Little seal

Additional Info for Ronan

There have been various St Ronans, including a Celtic bishop who preached in Cornwall and Brittany. The town of Locronan in Brittany is named after him.

There are several famous Irishmen named Ronan - singers Ronan Keating and Ronan Tynan, rugby union player Ronan O'Gara and author Ronan Bennett.

"Ronan the Accuser" is a villain in Marvel Comics' "The Fantastic Four" series.

Name: Edward
Origin: English
Meaning: Wealth protector

Additional Info for Edward
From the Old English Eádweard; a compound name composed of the elements "ead" (riches, prosperity, fortune) and "weard" (guardian, protector). Hence: 'protector of the riches, inheritance', or maybe 'rich guardian', 'fortunate protector'.
It is more commonly used in Great Britain but was already known on the main land quite early due to Anglo-Saxon preachers. Edward's popularity became greater after Jean-Jacques Rousseau used the name for one of his characters in 'Nouvelle Héloise'.

Edward is a royal name, having been borne by three Anglo-Saxon kings and eight kings of England, as well as by the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Edward (b. 1964).

Thanks Beth! I actually hadn't looked up the meaning of Edward, but I knew all the others. Except when I looked up Ashe, its considered English and means, obviously, "Ash tree." LOL Probably cause we originally looked it up under Ash, and then we decided to add the "e" at the end. My friends sister just named her baby boy "Asher." Its ok, but I always think of that book, My Name is Asher Lev!

Oh, and Nik, our last name starts with an F.

Anyway... so I think we have settled on Ronan, but now we are arguing over how to spell it. I, obviously, like Ronan, Will wants Ronin.

Ronan with an "a" is gaelic and means "little seal."

Ronin with an "i" is Japanese and means "samurai without a master."

One of my reasons for prefering RonAn is because it is closer spelling-wise to Ronald, which is my dad's name.

What do you all think??

Not sure if it will help you decide but RONIN is an action/thriller movie w/ Robert DeNiro.

I agree with you...."A" is the right way to spell it. It would be typically how people would spell it when they heard the name. If you go with "I" then they may never spell it right!

How are you feeling today?

Edward is my husband's name, he goes by Ted or Ed. Can't go wrong with that one!

Ronan is nice too, a little unusual but not too much.

Good Monday my dear! Hope you are feeling good.

I read this today in a devotion about the Blessed Mother Mary's birthday...which we celebrate today:

We can see every human birth as a call for new hope in the world. The love of two human beings has joined with God in his creative work. The loving parents have shown hope in a world filled with travail. The new child has the potential to be a channel of God's love and peace to the world.

Hugs

Youre right, Lynn! I have been gone awhile and didnt even realize it! Sorry...

Jaimie, that is really a beautiful quote. Thanks for sharing that.

SO Will and I haven't discussed names for about a week, so I have no idea where we are on that subject. I also had a really bad cold and was miserable for a week because I couldn't really take anything for it. I couldnt sleep at all for 2 nights, and then barely after that. I still have a little bit of a cough, but I am almost completely over it now, but I am still really tired. And fat. Seriously, I feel like I have gained 10 pounds in the last 2 weeks! But I am 20 weeks as of yesterday. That much closer to seeing my boys! Here are some 20 week pics I took today, fat face and all:

Seriously, I'm starting to look like an orange on toothpicks! Look how little my legs are still, and then this huge body! No wonder my feet hurt all the time!!

My feet have been swelling a little more lately, and I have had a really bad flare up of acne all over my face, chest and shoulders. Even my back! Will thinks its either the detergent Im using, or lotion. So Im going to have to switch them out to sensitive versions and see if that helps.

I also had to cut back my hours at work. I'm only working 4 hours a day now. I'll be honest, though, Im about ready to quit. I dont know if I want to keep going till the end of October, even though my Dr says I can. I'm just too tired. We will see.

The acne may well be hormone-related.
