That is so neat!!! Your children will cherish it forever! You are so crafty. I admire you.

Another note....if you are hungry eat! And you will get hungrier as time goes by. In the last few weeks it will taper off as you will have no room in there for food . This is the time when your babies are really growing so they are probably taking in everything you are eating leaving nothing for you. This is the one and only time you can eat free from guilt so enjoy!!!!

Well, I am 15 weeks today. One more week and I will officially be 4 months, and, more than likely, halfway through my pregnancy! I debated taking a picture today, but think I Will wait until next week, since I have been taking them every two weeks. Maybe once I hit 20 weeks, I will start taking them weekly. I feel like I am probably the same as last week anyway.

I worked ALL WEEKEND, from Thursday thru this morning, which is very unusual for me. But it was tax free weekend here in NC, so I had to work. My feet are KILLING me, and I'm exhausted. Fortunately, I have tomorrow and Thursday off, so hopfully that will give me plenty of time to rest and recuperate!

I am happy to say that I Have not gained any weight this week. I'm sure I will have another spurt, but I have been happy to see the scales remaining the same for now.

Other than that, things are fine. But I think I am going to go lie down and have a rest. I will talk to you later!

Krysta: What's tax free weekend? Also, are you really into digital scrapbooking? I found those pages you used, and I almost bought them. However, I haven't done much in the digital form. I love traditional scrapbooking, though. What program do you use to scrapbook, and how do you print the pages?

Congrats on a productive weekend and hitting the 15 week mark! This is really happening, isn't it!!!

Hello Krysta,

I have been reading your journal for awhile now, congratulations on your twins!!

If you are interested, and if you have a girl, I have TONS of little girl baby clothes that I no longer need, my girls are 3 and 1 (and I am done) they are in good condition, so if you want them, I have no problem sending them. When I was a new mom, I wanted to buy everything myself brand new......good luck on the rest of your pregnancy!

Jennifer, thanks so much for the offer! With twins on the way, I am willing to take about anything people want to give me! I will find out what I am having in exactly 3 weeks, so I will let you know!

Nik, the first weekend of August is tax free weekend here in North Carolina. Basically you get clothes, computers, sports equiptment and school supplies tax free. Its to help parents out with school shopping. Its craxy busy, as you can imagine!.

As far as scrapbooking, I have been doing it for years (I used to work at a scrapbook store, in fact) and just recently switched completely over to digital. Its so much easier for me. I use Photoshop and I print my layouts at Costco photo center. They have 12x12 and 8x8 options there. In fact, I am going there sometime this week and will be picking up a bunch! I'd love to see some of your pages sometime!

WOW! I have been out of the loop for a long time!! CONGRATS on the little ones! Amazing!! You look awesome! I prayed for you that you would get pregnant soon and I move tot the new duty station and come back after a bit and there you are beautifully carrying twins!!!

Max just turned 3 on the 30th and I have an appointment with a GYN for referral to FS on the 19th of August. DH is deploying in September/October time frame as well and we want to get pregnant before he leaves...not sure it will happen now that it is so close to his leaving but maybe on R and R if we can time it right
I have been having SEVERE ovarian pain for over 2 month now and they have me taking vicodin and darvocets for the pain...it's weird because I thought I lost all this weight to HELP PCOS?? ah well..things will happen!

I just wanted to catch up with you quickly and tell you congrats!!

Looks like you are doing well! I can't wait until you find out what you are having. That's when it starts really being fun....naming the babies, figuring out the decorations for the room, buying clothes....so much fun!!!

We had tax free weekend this past weekend too. I got lots of clothes for DS#3. It's a wonderful plus, but I think it just makes you want to spend more.

I want so much to get into scrap booking. I have tons of keepsakes I need to put together. I just don't know how to get started. Which online service do you use? Do all the scrap booking you can b/c when you have the twins they will certainly take up all your extra time!

Jessica! SO good to see you! You look great! I didn't know you were moving from Bragg Thanks for stopping by, and for the congrats

Beth, dear, I used one of those pictures in a post on my blog! The one with the wings on their backs. SO sweet. I want to get some artistic photos like that of the babes once they are born. I will have to look around for a good photographer!

Lynn, Thanks so much for stopping by and keeping up on me! You are an awesome woman, too!

Nothing much to report today. I went to Penney's and ordered 2 blinds that I need for my breakfast nook and it cost me $120!!! What a rip off, but we need them. They are the only 2 windows left in the house with no blinds on them, and they look straight into our neighbors kitchen window. The rest of the day I just did laundry and rested because my feet have been bothering me so much the past week. Now it's just about bedtime, since I have to wake up and go to work tomorrow. But fortunately, I have Thursday off, too, so I can rest my feet some more. Anyway, I will check in again later!

Hi my friends I don't really have anything to report. I've been very lonely with Will gone, and all I've been doing is working, eating or sleeping However, I will be 4 months on Monday and it will be time for another picture! Until then, Im just going to pout because I miss my husband

Krysta,

If it means anything, I'm here. You can lean on me .

It must be hard going through this without Will there. I bet he is a happy camper and thinks about you and the babies all the time. Are you able to talk to him while he is gone? I pray so, that would make things a little better.

Thanks, Lynn. Fortunately, Will will be home next week, and I do talk to him just about every day. Things will be a lot nicer once he is home again.

Well, I am 16 weeks today. 4 months, almost halfway done! If I make it to 34 weeks like my Dr. hopes, I will be halfway through next week. Personally, I hope I can keep them in until at least 35-36 weeks, but we will see.

My feet have still been killing me if I am on them longer than about 4-5 hours at work, which means this week will be terrible, since I work 6 hours every day. But next week I only work 5 per day, so that will be better. I was thinking of quitting a little earlier, but I need the money. Will's birthday is coming up, and its only the second one that he has been home for since we got married, so I want to do something special for him, even though he says he doesn't want anything. And then we need to hurry and pay off the fridge we had to buy for our rental house, since the interest on our Sears card is a ridiculous 22%, so every check I make for the next 4 weeks is going to that. After that, anything I make before I quit is just a nice little cushion. Although, lets be honest, I'm sure it will all be spent on the babies

Ok, so here's my 16 week pic (forgive the big zit on my chin...I have been breaking out like crazy lately!):

Here are the comparisons (10, 14 & 16 weeks):

How are you doing with Will gone? Remember you are a strong lady! Don't forget to journal while he is gone. I know he won't want to miss a moment of your pregnancy! Of course, you can always pass the time on here with us! Like now....where are you? What are you doing that is so much more important than us? Just kidding!

Keep the pictures coming! It's so much fun to watch you grow! Hey, I've watched you get little and now I'm watching you get big! Entertainment at it's finest!!!!

Well,l I lied last week...I wasn't 4 months last Monday, I will be 4 months TOMORROW, when I begin my 17th week and 5th month. Its so confusing. Tomorrow I will also be down to one week until my big ultrasound, and I can't wait!!

Will is coming home in a few days and I went grocery shopping on Saturday. I tried to get a lot more healthy choices, too. I will be cooking dinner again once Will is home, so I'm sure that alone will be healthier than the frozen dinners I've been living on for the past 3 weeks! I am still only up 11 pounds, and considering I am 17 weeks, I guess that's ok. That's an average of .64 pounds per week. Maybe I have mentioned this, but I am trying not to gain more than 35 with the twins. That is the low end of expected with twins (35-50 is the general rule.) Considering I am small anyway, and was about 10 pounds over what I wanted to start at, I think that is reasonable for me. Hopefully I can do it and not go over! We'll see...

Krysta: Thanks for explaining that. I've been thinking I'm 4 months, since I was 16 weeks on Saturday. I guess I'm wrong? I'm so CONFUSED! All I know, is that having a living person inside of you (or two, in your case) is SOOOO AMAZING! I'm loving the second trimester; this is wonderful.

Are you feeling okay? Do you have any gut feelings about gender?

We should take a poll in preparation of Krysta's appt. next week. I think she's going to have

I don't know if its a gut feeling, or just what I'm hoping for, but I really hope its a boy and a girl!

yeah, I got confused last week, but if you think about it, your 4th month ends after you finish 16 weeks. 16 weeks is your last week in the fourth month. I get confused myself sometimes about it.

And I agree, so far, the second tri is going good for me, too. I feel pretty good...still tired and taking a lot of naps, and my feet hurt after work, but other than that, I'm doing good, so far. Have enough energy now to clean my house and cook dinner, so Will will be happy about that!

So what does everyone else think I am having???
