Ok, so I am officially NOT pregnant, which means I can now start Induction. I am so scared to do it, since it has been so long, and I'm afraid I will fail. But I am going to try anyway. Tomorrow will be day one. Wish me luck!

Already I am being besieged with temptation! Tomorrow, my friend and I are going to Raleigh and we were planning on eating at the Cheesecake factory. Now, I know I can do it LC, but I'm so tempted NOT to! But, I am tired of being fat and not fitting into my clothes. Plus, I want to lose the weight before Will gets back again. I know the first week or so is hard, and once I get past it, the temptations will lessen, but sheesh!

If you stay on plan when you go to the Cheesecake Factory you will feel so much better about yourself and stronger in your resolve! You can do it, Krysta!

I know, Sue, I Know you are RIGHT! Like I said, I know the first week is just a mess of temptation...In fact, I remember last year when I first started, writing about my friend bringing Twizzler cherry bites into work and leaving them there in front of me, and how the smell was just SOOO tempting, but I stayed strong, and look where I got to! Shortly after that, sugar didn't even really tempt me because the feeling of being in control was so much better! It's really just a matter of staying strong while my body detoxes. So tomorrow I think I will get a salad...and maybe a slice of LC cheesecake!

So if you say not weighing myself is NOT cheating, then I'm not going to. I think that the fact that my clothes are tight and I have serious muffin top going on in all my shirts is enough of a motivation to me. I don't need to know the ACTUAL damage just yet

PLUS, I have another reason to get the weight off (Plus MORE, if possible!)...my friend is getting married on July 19th and I am flying out for her wedding. I will be seeing all my old friends there and I want to look GOOD! Of course, I am doing this for myself, ultimately, but looking good at the wedding is another good kick in the pants, don'tcha think?

I would just set a date that you are going to weigh. That way it will give you motivation to stick to Induction since you know you will have to weigh in and report to all of us. If we were talking about me, I would have to weigh in and then not tell anyone. That way I would at least get credit for losing the weight. If you don't know before you start, then you won't know how well you did this week. But that's just me....the scaleaholic.

Look back in your old journal to help you decide what helped you get through those first two weeks. It's also fun to re-read your journal.

That is a great idea, Beth, unfortunately, last year I didn't start keeping a journal until I was already two weeks into Induction! But I will still see if I can get some ideas from it, since I think I stayed at Induction levels for 3 weeks before moving up.

I'm good so far today...scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast!

LOL, Beth! I have to say, I don't know who the first guy is, but look at those abs! I actually just watched Fracture last night (with Ryan Gosling) and I have to say, The Notebook is one of my favorites! Will loves Prisonbreak, but I've never seen it myself, but I know about Wentworth...my mom has the hots for him! But I was watching this new show called New Amsterdam last night, and I thought to myself, "Man, hes cute! Maybe I should add him to my list!" This guy:

The first guy (Channing Tatum) was in the movies "She's the Man" and "Step Up". He's got a new movie coming out soon too.

I love Prison Break too. It has become my favorite show.

Since we are speaking of good looking guys.....check out my brother's new head shots. He decided to go for a different look to add to his portfolio. Sorry they are so big...couldn't get them smaller???

On a totally different subject, and this may be TMI, but every single time I go back on strict Induction, I have serious bathroom issues. I don't know how my body figures it out so fast, but man! My guts are not happy tonight! BUT...I have made it through day 1!! Yay for me!

Have you ever taken magnesium for your bathroom troubles? I take 500 mg before bedtime when I'm having troubles and it takes care of the problem. Also, although cocoa powder is not officially for Induction, it's very magnesium rich and helps me also.

It is really good to have Will back, and his decision to come home has been like a weight lifted from my shoulders...his, too, I think. I can't say too much about it, but I will explain as much as I can when I get a chance. Anyway, I am off to bed, but I will be back soon!
