Actually, I've been adding a small salad and a little bit of veggies that have been left over from the weekend. But only during dinner. So it's kind of an Atkins woe for now.

The thing is I've been drinking tons of coffee and I can't stop!! So that has to be slowing me down. I have never drank so much coffee before until I found out how to make is taste good from one of the ladies on A72.

Anyway, I'm going to go back to Stillmans after Easter. I know it will be useless to do anything now since I'll be making low carb desserts for that day.

But it's okay, I'm still at 202 and that's better than 205!!

I'm going home now, work is over!

I'll check in with you later Sue!!

Blessed Holy Thursday Diana!

I loved reading about how close you live to your family. I am blessed that way too.
I laughed when I read about how DH gets along with everyone, so does mine!

Wouldn't it be so cool to get all of our LC friends and spouses together sometime

BBL friend,

Good Morning Jaimie!

You're bright and early!

Oh I would think it would be fantastic to meet! I think I would be crying tears of joy if we all ever got to meet!

It's funny, I never thought growing up that our family would be the way we are. I never thought we would be as close as have gotten. We're not the huggy kissy type of family, but we do show that we love each other by the things we do.

Well, hope you are having a Blessed day so far!!

I'll talk to you later too!!!

for ya!!!

Good Morning!

Not much happening here today.

Weight is still the same, maybe I'm drinking too much coffee!! But next week will be Stillmans. Too many things happening this month with birthdays and Holidays and just loving the weather is giving me an excuse to bbq or do something fun!

I'm so close to onederland I can taste it! I need to get on with this weight loss, so at least I can make some progress. If it's slow that's okay, just as long as I know I'm eating what I'm supposed to.

Anyway, Easter is coming soon! Makes me think of how fortunate and blessed we are to know our Lord and Savior!!
He is The One who has made all this possible for me! I could not do this without Him not living in me!!

For me it's not just worshipping Him one day, I do that everyday. I give Him praise and glory for everything He has done in my life. I love to pray for others too! I do all the time! Everyone who has visited my journal is always in my prayers!!!

Everyone has a wonderfully blessed day today!!!!

Love Ya all!!!

You are such a dear, sweet friend! Every time I visit you, I am reminded of how good it is to know Him and it lifts my heart!

Bless you!

I think you are wise to take it easy for the rest of the week. I know if I "extreme" diet, I gain back twice as much if I veer even a little off plan. Wait until you are really ready to commit!

Thanks Deb, I think you're right about that. I need to just eat correctly this week and layoff the coffee and cream! That's my problem!

That is so wonderful of you to pray for us all.

I love reading your posts because they are so upbeat and point to our wonderful Lord and Savior as the reason.

Can you post your rasp coffee recipe please?

Well I like to start off by acknowledging the death, burial and ressurection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This weekend will be a time to really understand what our Lord did for us and what it stands for. I know that without His shedding His blood for us, there would be no remission of sins, no salvation for us. It's all because He loves us and wants all to come to the knowledge of salvation.

I hope that with all the things we have to do, that we will take the time to give Him thanks for giving us the promise of eternal life, because we believe who He is and what He did for us.

I pray that everyone will have a wonderful time with family and friends and that we all love one another because that is what He's ask us to do, love one another.
I pray for Gods peace that surpasses all understanding to all of you. I pray that there will be answers to prayer that you all have been waiting on. I pray for good health for everyone. I pray that the Lord will fill each and every one of with us with joy unspeakable and for His grace to be upon us through the day.

God bless you all on this glorious weekend!!!

I Love You All!!

Diana,
The Youtube video was astounding. Thank you.
I think I'd forgotten what Jesus did for us. Not really forgotten but just put it in the back of my heart. The physical pain of laying down His life! He could have stopped it all and chose not to! Can't even imagine. I have tears in my eyes and an ache in my heart.
And, for God our Father, to love US so much that He gave Jesus to us. Our sins. His suffering.
Jesus, I love you and am sorry I have sinned.

Sweet Sharon, all that you have said, is all He wants from us, is to believe what He has done for us.

Good Morning Everyone!!

I had a great Easter, though I made a little too many desserts! I forgot to dish out two of the desserts and now I've got them in my fridge!

I did taste the barvarian apple cheesecake, it was pretty good, not as good as I thought it would, because it called out for granny smith apples and I do not like granny smith apples.

We went to my parents house and ate dinner there, then went back to my house and hid the eggs and had desserts.

The Uncles and kids played basketball in the back yard and we sat watching them cheering them on!

It was a fun day, too bad it was a little warm outside.

Hi Sue, we all had a great time as you can tell!

I'm glad you had a great time too with your family!

Now today, I've got to get back to doing Stillmans.

My skin is getting dry and I noticed my arms are getting some type of rash on them. I don't understand why this is happening and what is causing it.

I know because our backyard is a little dry, it could be the dust that was flying around.
Or allergies.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and that everyone is recovering from yesterday!

Talk to you all later!!

Love Ya's!!

was the apple recipe LC? I'm not a fan of granny smith apples either, but like them best for apple pies. That reminds me, I need to make one for youngest DS. He loves apple pie and has been wanting one. I make it with Splenda, which he doesn't mind; he gets migraines from too much sugar.

Sounds like you had a good time with your family. Too warm, huh? We had the opposite problem. No outside playing yesterday.

Have you just developed the dry skin? Hope it improves soon. Have you ever used Skin So Soft bath oil by Avon? I get red bumps on my upper arm in the winter and use the oil on them after I'm showered. I just slather it on, then towel dry.

Yes, this dry skin just started happening. I've got red bumps on my arms right now, looks like a rash but no itching.

I have some lotion I bought at Sprouts, then I bought Ecurin lotion, and the use some vaseline too. I think my hands are dry from doing dishes in hot water. But the rest of my body, I have not idea!

I like Avon lotions, I may have to try that if this doesn't work out.

Hi Diana! Your Easter sounds lovely.

We too, spent the last two days outside (in the heat!). My allergies are out of control, and my Mom has a rash around her eyes and cheeks. I think that there is definitely something in the air. Plus, the wind hasn't helped!

Ohhh, that apple cheesecake sounds super good!

Love the pic of your little pup (Sammi?)! What a cutie!

Oh I forgot to answer you about the apple. Yes, it was called for in LindSue's recipe. I shouldn't have added it at all, but did.

I want to learn how to make an apple pie too. I actually bought the zucchini to make Kevinpa's mock apple pie, but didn't do it.

Thank You Deb! He's my little guy!!

I couldn't believe the temperature outside! I think I might have had the dust from the back yard on my skin that caused this rash looking thing!

I hope your Easter was fun too despite the weather. Coming to visit you!

What an adorable little dog.

Eucerin is supposed to be really good for dry skin. We used it for oldest DS when he was a baby and had a constant rash on his face. It really helped to clear it up.

I'll have to look into that mock apple pie. apple pie.
