Well, I'm so excited to be back on plan! There are so many others here who are on track too and it's just awesome!!! Sue, Beth, Debra, Jennifer, Jaimie and LaRae! It's great to see the motivation spreading like wildfire here. I just know we are all going to see a loss!

I'm at a place I never thought I'd be, and that's being under 205!!

I feel lighter, I'm hoping for a loss soon! This is the way I felt when I got down to 202, so we'll see!

My eating has been good, I've been eating on plan. It's also affected my appetite too. I don't feel as hungry like I used to, but I do eat and enough.

My menu for today is:

B- 1 fried egg, 1 good size hamburger patty on a rev roll
L- hamburger on a rev roll
D- 3 scrambled eggs, hamburger patty
tons of water!! 1 diet rite soda

I had to go to the store to day to pick up some things for tomorrow. I'll be adding some cottage cheese and low sodium chicken broth to my menu.
I think the broth will help fill me up some.

This weekend will should be interesting. I'm throwing a birthday party for my sister and it will be a high carb and low carb menu. Plenty of protein though!
And some lc desserts, as well as high carb.

So I hope tomorrow I will weigh in less, that would be so great!!!

Goodnight!!

Diana~you are "in the zone" again, and I know that you will be losing well. So proud of you for your accomplishment this week in breaking through your stall.

I know you're busy today and tomorrow, but I hope that you have a blessed time with your family this weekend.

Can't wait to see a pic of the trifle.

Thank you Sue! I appreciate your support so much!

I weighed in and I'm down a 1/2 lb, but I'm not going to claim it until I see if I lose the full lb tomorrow. But I do feel light and airy!

My menu today:

B- 2 fried eggs, I hamburger patty
L- not sure, but will eat something if I have time
D- cottage cheese and a protein of some kind
Water, 2 cups chocolate raspberry coffee w/ cream and sf raspberry Davinci. (yummy!!!)

So I'll try to check back in later when I get the chance.

Love you all for posting in my journal!!!

God Bless!!!

LOL!

I thought I would be doing this for 1 week, but the more I see the lossed the longer I want to do this.

I think if I was at your weight, 1 week would be good, but I really want to get out of the 200's badly and I need to boost my loss.

If you don't like it, of course you can cycle back to Atkins, no problem!

I'm also taking a multi-vit, Omega-3 and Biotin, so I feel pretty good!!

Have you felt hungry? I always had this empty, gnawing feeling in my stomach when I did this, even though I ate plenty. I might try it again. Need to get myself some LC ketchup today and make cola chicken, then get some cottage cheese. I'll go do a search and find the rules for it. I want to start losing again.

Actually I haven't felt hungry, but only recently I have felt this way.

When I do this per the book, and eat how it says to eat, I don't feel hungry.
But I eat until I'm very full too, not just a little bit.
Also, I still use heavy cream in my coffee and it hasn't affected me one bit.

Another thing I noticed is, eating the leaner meats have made me feel better, than eating the fatty stuff.
It makes me wonder when I go back to Atkins, how the fattier meats will affect me?

But I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

That's interesting about the lean meats making you feel better. Also, that you're using cream in your coffee and it's still working. Thanks for the info.

How did the party go? Need details! The trifle must have been a huge hit!

Your losses are astounding! On top of that, your menus still look good and satisfying. I am going to have another look at Stillmans!

I survived!!!! LOL

I survived my sisters' birthday, but I did over do it on the wine. So today I'm paying the price.

My eating was good, infact I really didn't eat much at all.

The trifle was better than I thought it would be! I wish I could have taken a pic of it, but I didn't have a trifle bowl and had to use another one I had.
On the trifle, I made the chocolate mayo cake and used KevinPa's cake recipe. I don't think I would do it again with his cake recipe because I don't like the taste of the carbalose flour. I'll use the orginal recipe. But I then made Kevinpa's chocolate pudding, now that was good!!! I alternated the cake with pudding add blueberries and sliced strawberries, then put some heavy whipped raspberry flavored cream. I did give my sister the rest of it. It seemed like everyone liked it, no complaints! I also made a vanilla wafer banana pudding dessert too for the others.
For the main food my parents made bbq beef ribs and I made LindaSues' Korean chicken, grilled. Then I made some coleslaw, and roasted asparagus with olive oil, kosher salt, onion and garlic powder and sprinkled it with Roman cheese. It was all good!!

We had a good time, we Karaoked and sat outside in the beautiful weather. It was fun! The kids played in the back yard and played basketball, even my brothers were out there playing too. We also have a pool table and the guys were playing. Everyone had a good time, but most of my family left early because they go to church early today. I just need to get motivated to clean up now. I'm surprised there isn't a bigger mess, but I guess everyone threw away there rubbish.

No more parties for awhile! LOL!

I won't weigh in tomorrow because I know I'll be full of water. I am on plan today and hopefully drink tons of water.

Hi Deb, I am really happy that my whole family gets along. If we didn't we would not be able to get together as much as we did. But we did have fun!

Hi Sue, hope to talk to you later or tomorrow.

Hi Jaimie, how are you!

My menu:

B-4 leftover chicken strips
L- 4 chicken strips 1/2 c cottage cheese
D- the same as lunch, plus a cup of chicken broth.

See ya all later!!

Morning Diana. Sounds like a fun party with your family. All those desserts sound wonderful. Isn't it great that on LC we have these delicious things to make?

At a Christmas party I had in December I made the cheesecake pudding and layered it with blueberries (our own home grown) and it was such a hit. No one knew it was LC and everyone asked for the recipe.

I read on the A72 thread that Stillman's has taken your appetite away. That's interesting. It never happened for me. I was thinking about doing it, as your know. I made cola chicken (yum) and bought some cottage cheese, but the times that I've eaten the chicken I've been starving afterwards. Maybe I need to be in ketosis really good before starting something like that. I have been enjoying the cottage cheese, though.

Well, I'll be talking to you soon.

Hi Everyone!!!

Boy all you Ladies are just wonderful!!! I'm so blessed to have you all writing in my journal. You don't know how this lifts me up!

Well, I weighed in this morning and was up 4lbs! I totally ate yesterday like there was no tomorrow. Not good stuff either. But, that was yesterday and today I'm back on plan.

Yes, Sue, it is interesting that last week I had not hunger. Now I'm not sure if it was the adrenalin from having to do so much or if it was Stillmans.
Sometimes I would forget to eat, but when I would feel hungry, I definately would eat.
I need to make that cheesecake!! I'm so jealous you grow your own blueberries! I love bb!!!

I'm just eating simple foods made with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. The Chicken has some sesame oil, but not alot. We had tons of it left over and that's what I'm eating.

Menu:
B- 3hb eggs
S- 2 hb eggs, 1 chicken strip
L- 3 chicken strips, cottage cheese
D- same as lunch

If I want something sweet, I did the cinnamon, splenda cottage cheese. It's pretty good and curbs the sweet tooth!

I need to make rev rolls with cottage cheese, but need to clean up my dirty sink full of dishes!! I know, I know, GROSS!!!

Still visiting journals!!!

Love Ya Ladies!!!

Make that 3 of us! I am constantly looking forward to the next meal, and attach eating to all activities. I keep bugging my SIL about Easter because I want to plan menus and begin to look forward to it! I think there is something wrong with my brain!

Ugh! Dishes! I got a reprieve from them tonight, but still have the rest of todays stacked in the sink. So glad I'm not alone. Misery loves company!

That 4 pounds is probably already gone. Make sure you drink extra water to flush it out!

Hugs!

LOL Deb!! Boy we are 3 peas in a pod! I always do that too, when a holiday comes I'm asking my mom and sisters, "what should we do for ______"! I'm sure I'll be asking the same for Easter!

I pray for the day when food will not rule me or control me, but that I can have control over it! I don't like living my life like that.
I know we all joke about it and it's funny to do that, but for me it's kind of sad that I look forward to eating, even when I'm full from just eating.

I remember one time, my dad and I were talking and food came up and he said the same thing, how always thinks about food. He doesn't have a weight problem, but has put on some weight as he got older.

When I was younger I was always told, why don't I lose weight, you have a pretty face, blah, blah, blah. Oh the names that people used to call, even who didn't even know me.
Family members used to say things to me. How embarrassing and humilated I always felt. Another time, some friend of my dad came to our house and I happend to be there when he came into the house and my dad introduced me to him and this man say's, " I never did like skinny girls". I was so embarrassed, I thought why didn he have to say that! Why!

I remember another time, my sister and I went to a concert and I thought I was dressed pretty cool, well I heard this girl talking about. Didn't even know me, she commented on how I looked like a slob and how fat I was. I didn't even think I was that heavy at the time, but maybe I was. Anyway, that was so devasting to me that I just recoiled into myself and could not have a good time.

Food was such a factor that I was obsessed with it.

There was a time in my relationship with the Lord, that I started going to back to my old ways. At that time I had done the diet, Herbal Life and I had lost alot of weight. So like I have heard others do, they think they can eat anything they want because they've lost weight. Well, I use to party so much in my 20's, I did drugs and drank and got so consumed with that lifestyle, I ultimately put all the weigh back on and then some!

Even after that, I couldn't stop eating.

Before I met my DH, I had lost weight again, and got down to a pretty reasonable weight to where I was getting attention from men. But I had my eye on my DH, he was unique looking, and had a big heart. I wasn't going for Mr. Hearthrob, I was going for the person the Lord wanted me to be with, but if it was a Mr. Hearthrob that would be great! From day one my future DH showed me affection, attention and love that I had been missing. Isn't that such a common story!
At that time I did the "love" diet, where I didn't eat hardly anything because I didn't want my future DH to know what I pig I can be, lol.

After we got married I just put on weight and he didn't care. My DH still loved, still showed affection towards me, never once told me I needed to lose or anything. Maybe one day he knew I would.

So now, I lose weight not only for myself but for him. Because the Lord put a beautiful heart into my husband. He can put his arms around me and he makes sure he lets me know, to show how far I have come!

Anyway, he is the best and I thank God for him!!!

The Lord is still working on my self esteem. I still have a hard time walking in a room full of people. I always think someone is going to talk about me and make comments about my size. That girl back at that concert who said those things about me, will never realize what she did to me all those years. But I forgive her! I cannot hold onto that and blame her for my weight gain, or anyone else for that matter.

One day, I will be able to walk in a room without worrying what others are going to say about me because the Lord will be by my side and all they'll see is Him!!!

Sorry I wrote such a downer post, I guess I just needed to say it.

Love You All and thanks for everything!!!!!!

Terrific Tuesday Diana!

Thanks for sharing. It always amazes me when I hear other womens' journeys, and I realize how much we are all alike...also upsets me when I realize how cruel some people can be.

You are doing so well

Diana~thanks for sharing with us. I'm sure that was hard to do. I just can't imagine how people can be so mean and hurtful with their words. I'm really a believer in "life words" and "death words" and how our words effect other's hearts. But, look how far the Lord has brought you! You have a wonderful husband who loves you, which is so wonderful. You have a relationship with the Lord which brings you so much strength. And I can tell from your posts that you are a very positive, upbeat, encouraging person!

I am so proud that you are my friend here at LCF!
