you ladies sound chirpy today. nice to see.

i haven't sort out coconut oil here but i've tried the oil pulling with a nice mild olive oil. it was ok but olive oil is expensive and i'm cheap too.

YEAH IT'S FRIDAY!!!

Good Morning!

Hello Raine, I have never tried oil pulling. I'm kind of afraid to do it, lol. Right now I can't stomach the taste of CO, but I do put it in my protein shakes. I don't know what happend. When I first bought it I loved it and made the chocolate bark from it, but now, it makes me naseaus.


I hope everyone has a great day! Let's stay on plan and feel good all the way around!!!


I woke up wida awake at 11:30 pm. I thought it was early in the morning?? Anymore, I'm getting by with little sleep. I think the way I"m eating is giving me alot of energy or something freaky is going on with me! LOL!

I get a little tired in the morning, but I'll have another cup of coffee or an energy drink.
But I'm the type that will keep going and not stop. I get that drive from my dad.

Well, I come visit everyone later!!!

Nothing to be afraid of w/ oil pulling. My first time I was scared, but it is just the initial shock of putting something "unknown" in my mouth.......no big deal, and I can tell a difference in the short time I have been using it. Now what does make me nervous, is adding it to food, or taking it right off the spoon.....weird huh? I need to work my nerve up.

I tried oil pulling once and gagged. I don't think I can do it again, even though I've read of the great benefits of it. To each his own.

Sometimes as I'm brushing my teeth, I get this need to swallow. It's weird. Then I have to spit out the toothpaste and start brushing all over again. I don't want to swallow any toothpaste.

I think I'll stick to co in my foods or protein shake.

Girls I got the Oil caps for $19.95 plus shipping and handeling and I believe the total was $23.00, but each bottle has 240 caps in it and I got 3 bottles altogether for that price. That is very cheap. It is through Prime Vitamins... That makes 720 pills...

I actually made rev rolls yesterday after work, and also LindSue's Deep Dish Pizza.
I won't do any hardcore baking until next week for my nieces b-day. She wants red velvet cupcakes!! I love those!!!

I did find a lc red velvet cake recipe that I've had. I may do Jakesmixtapes fudgey cup cakes too. They're low carb.

I may make some sweet oopsie rolls that Maryposa on the induction thread posted, tomorrow. If I'm not too lazy! LOL They sound yummy!!

Those red velvet cup cakes sound so good! I tried red velvet cake for the first time ever about 4-5 months ago, it was soooooo good!! I'm going to go check out the deep dish pizza recipe!

oh yeah...if it is not too much trouble!

I have family visiting in October so I am trying to get as many low carb recipes together as I can...especially of the sweet stuff!!

I think I just made the best coconut bark ever!! I did a single serving, cut down on the oil a little bit and added a small amount of peanut butter.....sooooo good!

Hi Jen, pretty good so far. I did end up baking. I made an induction friendly pumpkin custard. It's pretty good!

I made a pumpkin almond bread too, which is also very good.

So far so good! Anything to do with food is good!! As long as its all lc!!

Yesterday I ate some chicken wings from a pizza place and with all the sodium, I"m up 2lbs. I know it will come off, but it just makes me not wanting to eat out at all. So much sodiumn in restaurant food and I dont want to deal with that. I'm just going to make my own foods so I can control the salt.


I've got my Fitday already set. Just need to drink plenty of water.
