I'm not sure about that 5 pounds. I'll be fortunate to maintain in the next few weeks the way things are going now.

Thanks for your support and prayers, Diana. They mean so much to me.

I haven't written here for awhile! Mainly because nothing had changed in my weight and I just didn't feel the need to write.

Now after the holidays have passed, I gained 8lbs, which I have already lost, thanks to A72!
I decided to try this version of Atkins and I'm taking the same approach as Tecnokitty by adding the foods in at a slower pace so I'll know what will allow me to lose or stall.

I was getting overly anxious before to add in foods that I thought I would be able to eat, but I was not losing like I should have.
I was eating too much desserts like sf, lc ice cream, way too much cream cheese, plus other foods that were allowable, but I was over indulging in.

I'm also drinking an energy drink, I believe is helping me with the weight loss, because everytime I would drink one I would lose. It could be a coincidenence, but that is something I'm still monitering.

Anyway, I'm on my way again losing, Yahoo! With Valentines as my goal to get into onderland and the summer to get close to my ultimate goal weight.

Be back soon!!

I tried to post a pic of me at 205 and one of me at Christmas in my journal, but it didn't work. I hate re-sizing pics. I'm just not very computer literate. Maybe sometime I'll take the time to do that.

How often are you weighing? Just once a week? I think it's really smart to add things in very slowly. It's incredible how well Technokitty has lost, and she's a good example to follow. But, I think she's much younger than us, and so that also makes a huge difference. When I was in my 20s and 30s, the weight would just drop off when I dieted. Not anymore.

Have a great day.

I totally agree with you there on the slow weight loss! I'm doing the exact same thing as Kitty is doing too! I think that's a smart idea!!!

But no matter how long it takes us to lose, we'll have to lose something if we're eating properly.
As long as we don't get discouraged in the process, we'll be okay!!!

I believe this year Sue, we will get to our goal weight!!! Even if it takes us all year to do that. Let's not get pressured to to lose all at once. Plus we can give ourselves mini goals throughout the year, instead of one big goal to meet in a short amount of time. Which ultimately to lose all our weight will be our big goal, in whatever time frame it takes.

Am I making sense?

I think it's about time I wrote again. TeeHee!

I'm still trying to get out of the 205 weight. I almost felt that nothing was working and I know that my friends here are so caring and trying to help me figure out why I can't get past this weight.

I was trying to make Valentines my goal to get into Onederland, but I don't think that's going to happen. So I am striving for my wedding anniversary as my goal. That gives me until July 5th to get down to at least 180. I know I can do it!!!

I'm going to believe that it will happen, that it's possible!! And as long as I continue eating how I should I will lose this weight. I'm losing inches, and I am very happy about that!

I had a wonderful compliment from my husband this morning! As he was leaving for work, he gave me his usual hugs and kisses and he said to me, "I can get my arms all the way around you now!"
I said, "REALLY!"

That made my day!!!!

Now I'm not going to complain about my situation. My husband has reassured me that I am losing inches. I know in time the scale will show it too!

Here's my menu:

B- rev roll sandwich w/ 2 fried eggs, 3 slices bacon.
L- roasted chicken breast, celery sticks
S- string cheese
D- brat or chicken sausage or chicken soup, ala Sue!!

Feel free anyone to give your opinion on my menu, if I should add more food, or take away. I'm just taking it slow on the food part.

I welcome your feedback!!

Have a Blessed day all!

How sweet of DH to give you such a nice compliment. You will get this weight off, Diana. I just know it. I think your menu looks great.

I know it's frustrating to see others lose so fast, but just keep it up. We all have different bodies that lose in different ways, so relax and know that if you eat right, it will come off.

Sue thank you for the kind and encouraging words!!! Even though you're hurting, you're always thinking of others!

I'm doing a total mental, behavioral adjustment! I'm not going to worry about how fast or slow I'm losing. I've got enough things in my life to consider and be thankful for, than going on about my weight.

Such as being able to breath easier, bend over, wear a smaller size pant and top, my husband's compliments and being able to eat great food!

It will come off, in it's own time!!!

I am a work in progress!!!!

Diana~I think your attitude is great. That's what's going to keep you going, even though it may seem slow. There ARE so many benefits to this woe, so remembering those (lack of hunger, delicious food, losing inches) will keep us on track.

Remember: This is our year to get it off!

My menu changed, which figures, I'm a woman and I can change my mind!

For lunch: Pork rinds, 2 string cheese
D- Carl's Jr burger w/o bun and used 2 rev rolls, w/ side salad.
S- chocolate torte. I had to finish that up so I wouldn't have any left.

Well I'm going to do some crunches, leg lifts and butt exercises while watching George Lopez! Oda le!!!

Hi Diana! I found you!

You really have made such wonderful progress, you'll be losing again in no time flat!

I just finally started losing again after a 2 month plateau. With the holidays behind us, (and that torte out of the way!) there will be no stopping us!

Hi Debra!
Thanks for stopping by and thank you for the encouraging words!!!

I agree, I'm not going to stress out on if I'm losing or not. All I know is my clothes fit so much better and I am definately losing inches. I know in time my scale with follow.

LOL, I just ate the last of my torte last night too! I don't think I'll be making that again any time soon. That's all I could think of, lol!

We will all get to our goal. Like Sue said, this is our year!!!!!

Talk to you soon!

Good Morning Sue!
LOL! It was lc and a LindaSue recipe. It was really good, I highly reccomend it for a special occasion only though. But I did use liquid Splenda and that cut the carbs down considerbly.

I hope everything is going great for you! I'm heading over to your journal!

Do you have the Sweetfreeze or whatever it's called, or did you use a SF Davincis syrup?

I bought the Sweeftreeze and I really like too. It's easier to buy now than it was before. I would recommend buying it because you can really save alot of carbs. LindaSue also has on her website a conversion table showing how much of granular to equal the liquid, so that really helps too.

I'm going to look into it. I like granular Splenda, but those carbs really do add up.
