Do your sister-n-law live in the Hattisburg area? I think that is where Forest General is located. I love this site and like it even better since I started my journal. It's more personal.
I hope you have a great morning.

1 minute muffin with pumpkin

I made the 1 minute muffin this morning with the pumpkin. I did not like it at all. My little girl usually help me eat my regular 1 minute muffin but she took on taste and said Mommy what wrong, it's not the same . I will stick to my regular recipe with the tweaks I added. That one both of us love.
Yessss... Today is Friday. I am going to take it easy.
Have a good day.
God Bless all of you.

Yes, she lives in Hattisburg. I'm trying to convince hubby to visit Mississippi during the holidays. I've never been and would love to meet the whole family. So far, I've only met his mother and 2 aunts. His sister and i talk on the phone often. Their accents are too cute. LOL

Hey there Janice,

Hopefully all will be well with you today. Just getting into work and the first thing I did was satisfy my addiction (logged onto the site). My internet is really showing its butt off !! Hopefully, that problem will be resolved by this week. I am going to work on my journal today and I know everyone will be doing what I only wish I was doing RIGHT NOW (worshipping and getting their praise on!!!) so should I need any help I will have to "journal" you all because I do not know how to PM yet and I have never seen a PM icon to do so.

It seems like you are doing great with sticking to your regimen. I did very well myself. I also read that you are using cocnut oil as your appetite suppresant and are getting results by doing so . Are you just drinking it by the spoonful or adding it to something?

What kind of work do you do? I use to work weekends at various hospitals, but I now don't work weekends or holidays because I teach now at a school.
I will look forward to chatting in your journal.

Menu for doday
B- 1 minute muffin with cc oil coffee
L- tuna
snack- nuts, protein shake
D- cabbage, roast

Got a little nauseated this morning with greatly reduced appetite. The coconut oil reduces your apetite.
This is a good day. I was disapointed with the scales but bounced back in my happy mood.
I have been back and forward of all types of diet and my body has to adjust back to LCing, everything will even out.
I will keep doing what I'm doing and have a positive attitude.

Blessedtamekia,

Sorry I'm late responding to your cconut oil question.
I started the ccn oil after my neice told me about it. She uses it from cooking to her skin.
I usually take 1-2 tbspn and add to my coffee in the mornings. It's oily but I've gotten use to it. Some people take it straight, I can't do that.
It's a good oil that the body needs.
I am trying it for about a month to see the changes in my skin. My appetite has been reduced greatly.
Do a search for Coconut oil and you will learn alot.

Thanks for answering my question. Better late than never.

I will research it. It seems like it really reduces your appetite per your journal. I am working on my journal this very minute as we "speak".

Well I made it through this work day. Feeling kind of good. My Husband bought me lunch today and it hit the spot, yummy and the best part he knew I did not bring lunch because I left my lunch bag at home.
Breakfast- scramble eggs
Lunch - Salad with grilled chicken
Snack- nuts and what I call cheese chips made with Kraft deluxe cheese slices
D- ?

I've been reading the thread about Kimkins and I'm shocked!
I followed her plan awhile and could not sustain the low calories.
I remembered losing 8 pounds in 5 days on the plan. That was the longest I could stay on her plan. I would start off and just said forget this I'm going to eat more meat, cheese or what ever I wanted on the regular LC plan. I love LCing the original way.

Talk later

Hey lovely lady,

LOL , I tried kimkins and lost 17 pounds in a month. The weightloss was rapid but I was one cranky sister.

I read that some new diet regimen called "NV" or is it "IN-V" is supposed to make your skin beautiful in conjuction with suppressing your appetite, etc. Have you heard about this product? Went to Walmart to investigate and the shelf was empty. LOL I suppose others have heard about it as well.

NV has been on the market for a minute now. I wouldn't recommend it Trust me Anyho, ketosis (#1 appetite suppressant and its free) along with biotin will get you the same results and its safe

There are a lot of people against Kimkins I guess because of the low fat, low cals, low carbs

I think I will try her plan to shake things up a bit

I teach a Class called Allied Health and I'm also a nurse. I posted in Tamekia's Journal about 3 out of ten co-workers being diagnosed with diabetes since I've been here. They come for advice and tell me that their doctors told to eat a low carb diet (they can eat ww bread/ pasta). They know I low carb and I give them as much info that I can. They follow the diet for a while and fall back in the same rut.
Sometimes I get so frustrated that I want to yell. Yell, because I see our People dying unneccessary not from lack of knowledge, but because they don't think it can happen to them and because they are addicted to carbs.

He came in and examined my mom and knowing she was a diabetic told me that If I did not start to eat right I will be a diabetic. He started her on a LC diet and I started it with her and I started to feel better, my indigestion w

I also had a better side effect of LCing WEIGHT_LOSS.

With that being said...................

Guess I hang on for the long haul!
