I will be going to the grocery store tommorrow to stock up on the foods I'll need to begin Atkins WOE again and this time for good. I know I feel better when I eat this way and definitely look bette.

5'5'' 210 goal is 160

I'm going to take it one day at a time and start off with three days a week of exercise. I was in the military for 20 years and ran 5 miles almost everyday as well as lifted weights. Since I retired 2years ago I haven't done much of anything and I can't wait to start exercising again. No more excuses

1st day

Okay, today was the first day and I had an ultimate breakfast sandwich (minus the bun) from Jack-in-the-Box for breakfast (2 eggs, ham, cheese, 2 slices of bacon), for lunch I had a double with cheese from Wendy's with a half of a cesar side salad, and for dinner I'm having buffalo chicken wings and celery with blue cheese dressing for dipping.

My weight was more than I thought: 213.8.

I hope to lose 4 pounds by Friday. Hope that's not too big of a goal

Day 2

Today, I probably haven't eaten as much as I should have. I was headed to jack-in-the-box for my breakfast but their was road construction and I couldn't get to it. So, I just went to work and ate a few pieces of summer sausage and two cheese sticks I had brought for a snack. For lunch I had a taco salad from Taco Bell with no beans and no shell. It really didn't taste that good so, I didn't finish it. Now this evening, I'm getting ready to order me some Monterey Chicken with veggies from Chilis. If you haven't picked up on it yet, I'm seperated and don't like to cook. I will cook dinner at some point this week, but probably on a night when my daughter is not working. It's not fun to cook for one person. I plan on exercising in the morning.

Day 3 (stepped on the scale)

I couldn't believe my eyes the scale read 207. I believe my day 1 post was 213.8 if that's correct that is a 6 pound weight lost. I'm happy even though I know it mostly if not all water weight. It still gives you that sense of accomplishment and desire to keep at it.

Day 3 continued

Okay, so I was pretty excited all day about the weight loss I saw even if it's water weight. For breakfast I had my normal Ultimate breakfast sandwich from Jack-in-the-Box (with no bun). For lunch I had a single patty with cheese from Wendy's then me, my daughter and her boyfriend went to Outback Steakhouse and I had a ceasar salad, ribeye with sauteed onions. I didn't exercise this morning because it was raining pretty good. I live in Texas on the Gulf Coast and TS Humberto is at my door so, I probably won't work out tomorow either, we'll see.

Day 4

Okay I think keeping a journal is helping me! I feel great, better in my clothes, never hungry. I had my same Jack-in-the box sand for breakfast, tuna with celery for lunch and I'm making myself meatless pizza tonite for dinner. Haven't had many veggies today. Oh well, I've done pretty good over all. I'm going to work out in the a.m.

Day 5

I weighed in this morning at 206.4 that is a 7.4 pound weight loss since Monday. I'm hanging in there. Now the hard part will be watching what I eat on the weekend. I'm not a snacker so that won't be a problem it will be me making a conscious deciion to eat the Lc way. But, I know I can do it!

Day 6

Okay today I didn't do much of anything except clean my house. For breakfast I had some bacon, for lunch I broiled some pepperoni with parmesean cheese and mozzarella cheese then for dinner I had a fajita taco salad with no beans. I'm thinking about having a low-carb popscicle for dessert. Think I had a pretty good day. I won't be weighing in again until Monday a.m.

Okay a little disappointed today even though I'm sure I shouldn't be. I don't think I've cheated at all but, thought I'd be down another pound or two since last week. I'm not I weighed in at 207 today! I'm gonna keep going strong though. Maybe my body is just startng to get used to this again. I feel much better. Not as bloated, never hungry and my clthes feel better as well.

Day 9

Well, today I didn't get any breakfast though I was okay for lunch. We did get to eat early though (I was in a training class). So for lunch I had a Taco Bell taco salad with no beans, and for dinner I had a grilled chicken salad. I might be smudging a bit with some things but basically I'm eating very low carb so I'm hoping I'll be okay. I feel good!

Day 11

Okay, so I wasn't hungry for breakfast so I didn't have anything till lunchtime. For lunch I had sliced BBQ beef no sauce and coleslaw and for dinner I had a beef fajita taco salad, with sour cream, guacamole. We'll see I think part of my problem is I need to drink more water. I'm getting in less than 32oz per day where I know I need atleast 64. I'll try harder.

Day12

Wow, I can't believe I've made it to day 12. Almost done with induction but, I will probably eat real close to induction to lose my weight. Today for breakfast I had the Jack-in-the-box sand, for lunch I had a cesar salad with grilled Shrimp but I only ate a few bites because the shrimp wasn't done enough for me and it completely grossed me out. So for dinner I went to Cracker Barrel and had chicken tenderloins off of their low carb menu. I was thinking that tomorrow I may have something off plan. I've been thinking about it today. But, I really don't want to blow what I've started so I guess I'll have to play it by ear.

I was thinking about cheating a bit yesterday but I stepped on the scale this morning and dropped two more pounds so I may not want to cheat so bad now.

Slept late so didn't have any breakfast. For lunch had pork rhinds and spinnach and artichoke dip, for dinner had hamburger meat with French Onion soup mixed in it with some peas. I'm going to have some jello and cool whip here in a bit. I'll weigh in the morning.
