Roche's Journal
I "re-started" lowcarbing on Saturday, August 25th. I lowcarbed in 2002 and loved the results, but fell back to my old habits.
I am 5'3" and weigh 192 pounds. I'd like to lose at least 30 pounds. This time, dh is doing it with me. And we are also exercising together. So I'm feeling more committed. It helps to have dh's support and then exercising with him makes that easier as well. Thursday and Friday - we went on a ten mile bike ride - took us almost 1 hour and 45 minutes. Saturday - we walked two miles Sunday - no exercise. I made lc chicken broc. casserole and cauliflower. It was super good. Monday - we went on same ten mile bike ride and shaved off about 30 minutes. DH made yummy br. of jalepeno sausage with cheddary and scrambled eggs. For lunch, we ate a chicken taco salad at Bajios. Dinner was bunless hamburgers and same sausage. Tuesday - I went to Lady Fitness and did a Rep Reebok class - basically a Body Scuplt class with weights. It killed! Br. was leftover lc chicken cass and cauliflower. I went to Wally World and bought some cooked buffalo chicken wings from their deli and also a chef salad. It was all really, really yummy. Dinner was a struggle. I didn't feel like cooking. I had a foot long chili cheese dog at Sonic - no bun. I've been eating pistachios all day, and I need to cut that out. Way too many. Everyone have a great low carb day tomorrow! Roche |
