Getting thin for her man in uniform...

Hi, I'm Meagan, and for years I've been battling with weight. So, about a year ago I started a serious relationship with a boy who just headed off to the Naval Academy to attend Plebe Summer, also known as boot camp. After thinking about it, and realizing he's going to be in the best shape of his life, I decided I needed to shake things up.

The next time I'll be seeing him is the 11th of Nov. So, that gives me time to make a difference. I want to surprise him like no other. I want to get down to about 130/125-ish by then, but I'm going to have to work hard, that means I have to lose about 50 pounds.

I've always been active, but I didn't have all the best eating habits. I'm taking dance classes which include kick and conditioning, jazz, and some techniques, and starting at the end of the month I'll be starting Frappier acceleration training at a Sport and Medicine facility. I love doing the Turbo Jam exercises, and any kind of pilates, so hopefully when I put all of these together I can make it easy.

I plan on using this as a daily diary of what I did, ate, thought, etc.

Hopefully by November I'll be a new woman!

breakfast: 1/2 slim fast shake
lunch: don't have a lunch break, but starting monday I don't have work anymore!
snack: 1 small slice of sourdough bread
dinner: 1/2 california wrap, 1 small slice cantelope, a few fries
desert (rare): 1 small slice of funfetti cake.


workouts:
20 Minute Turbo Jam
40 Minute Cadardio Jam
200 Crunches
25 Crunches each oblique
