I have decided to restart and recommit for the new year. I have already set my goals in my resolution. I have others of course but I only want to focus on a few things at a time. This morning I weighed 238 lbs so I am basically back where I started

. There is nothing that I can do about it now but just start over and work toward changes that will prayerfully last a lifetime.

Hi ladies! Just trying to stay on the wagon.

So far so good as far as eating goes...

B: Decaf w/Caramel Davinci's and creamer
L: Small bowl of collards and cabbage mixed and 1/2 Zaxby's salad (went back to tried and true fav)
D: Other 1/2 of salad and baked fish

I've only had about 16 oz of water so far today but I will be working on changing that this afternoon.

Okay so I haven't been following an official plan like I really should for the new year BUT...I am down 4 lbs. since the start of the new year so I must be doing something right. I guess after pigging out over the holidays I have decreased the amount of food I've been eating and that is showing right now on the scale. We will see how it goes...

Heck yeah! But today I feel icky

because of TOM and sinus issues. Not in the mood to eat much of anything. I guess that should be a good thing though right?

WOOHOO!! 4 pounds is better than 0. That is definitely progress. And I agree, just losing 1 pound is great and 2 is better but when you see that 3 or 4 is lost, it puts fire under the caboose!! Keep it up. Embrace 2008; it's our year!!

I have to go to the Dr today to check on my pinky and my cholesterol

. I am not looking forward to it. I can't eat anything until after 2 because that's when my appointment is and I have to get my blood tested again. Since I didn't go prior to today I am fasting it until then

. I guess I will have to fill up on water until then. At least I will get that in

This is my first week back but still not a full week. I was out Monday and Tuesday.

Last night and this morning I was having one of my pitty party moments

. Felt a little depressed even. I started thinking about turning 36, finances, being single with no kids and facing fertility issues, blah, blah, blah. Thought I was over it until this morning I was watching the Today show and one of the commercials was about that new movie "27 Dresses" and the main character that has apparently been a bridesmaid several times said "I am just waiting for my turn..." and I got all misty

and I starting asking myself "WHEN IS IT GOING TO BE MY TURN???"

:sigh: I am okay now but with the weather being all dreary out I don't think today is going to be one of my best but we will see...

Hey Nkechi,

Just know when it's your season, you'll be well prepared. Now that you have listed the issues, also list the resolutions; the personal resolutions. List the things you have control over and begin there. The things that are listed in the GOD HANDLES list, allow HIM to do just that; place a KEEP OUT sign there FOR YOU and stay focused on your list; he'll handle his "stuff"; you handle yours!!. Remember the wedding I was in October (my "sister")? She was 43. No kids either.

I think that all of us go through some form of this in our lives.Just know that everything happens on God's time.You still have plenty of time to have babies.My Sister(38) just had a baby.Your time will come sweetie.
