I did it!!! I went to Busch Gardens today and I stayed totally on plan I sat with My Mother and Aunt while they ate Funnel Cakes, Ice Cream etc and I was not tempted at all.

I just wish Theme Parks had more Food that you can eat on LC since I do not eat Chicken or Fish even the Salads come with Chicken. So I did not eat and I am having a late Dinner fixing a Steak.

I am totally exhausted so I will write more later.

Thanks Guys sorry I have not been posting I have felt really bad the last few Days and now I know why as you can see by the picture evidence I have the mumps.

I thought at first it was from a Tooth then realized My Tooth was not hurting but My Throat was. I have not had the Mumps since I was a Kid and I remembered a Lady at the Gym I was talking too about 2 weeks ago saying her Kids were just getting over Mumps.

I have some good news I am being fitted for the circaid for My Legs tonight the Rep is coming here at 7:30 to do the fitting.

I am going to have to pay the $600 myself which is the pits I am so nervous about it I have wanted it for so long that I am afraid that it will not make a difference and I will be really discouraged.

I got the measurements done and of course My Legs are way to large to be able to use the ready wear one and they have to be custom made ones which will cost $452 each.
I had to pay half now and the other half when I get them I will submit it to Insurance but I know they will not reimburse me so this is a big big budget buster but I need them.

I am depressed right now the Rep did not have a flash on his Camera so we used one of mine for the before pics and I just emailed them to Him and looking at the pictures and how bad My legs are has put me in a very weird mood.

I know how bad my legs are but some days I can just forget about them but seeing them in the pictures just brings it all in bright living color. I need to get out of this place I am in so I do not try to mask the feelings in bad ways. I was going to weigh for my one month weigh in but with the Mumps and TOM I am going to wait until next week. I always gain about 10 pounds at TOM time

Thanks Guys I appreciate it the post on the main lobby did not help yesterday it just reinforces what most people think.

I am going to do something scary always for me and post the pics of My Legs since I have had PM's from people not understanding what Lymphedema does or looks like plus it will be easy for me to look back to see any results I get from the compression.
It is really hard when you exercise so much and your Legs do not move.

Just a quick update as I am heading to the Gym I weighed this Morning and I am down 14 pounds but TOM is still here so it may be more. I am not going to change or claim any weight until next Month My B-day is the 21rst so I am going to see how many inches I can lose by then

I will also have the Circaid by then so I will be able to see true weight loss just not My legs swelling and going down etc

I am going to Universal on Wed and I am going to be prepared taking walnuts with me to much on etc BBL

Thanks Deb

Well I am getting dressed to leave in about 30 minutes for Universal. I plan on staying completely on plan I am sure it will be boring with just Burger Patties etc but why let 1 day out mess you up?

The only thing I hate is the last time I went to Universal I walked all day and today I will have to use a Cart My Legs are in just too bad of condition.

I am not having a good Day I stayed on plan yesterday except for 1 bite of something they said was a Sugar Free Pie it tasted way too sweet so I only had the 1 bite. I ate a Salad for Lunch then later on a Burger Pattie then a Cesar Salad for Dinner so I did not get enough Protein I know.

I got so upset at some of the other people in the park I would get in line in the cart and I would have people just get in front of me because of course I was not in line I even tried saying something a couple of times and it made no difference. Then in the few places they had a separate entrance for Wheelchairs I had people walk up behind me trying to pretend they were with me so they could get in faster. If they had asked or had a reason I would not have minded but to just use me that way upset me I looked back at one couple as I was going in and said excuse me do I know you? The attendant said they are not with you? I said no never seen them before and he told them they had to get inline I am sure I was cursed for awhile LOL

I spent all Day dodging People because of course this huge person on a cart was suppose to constantly move for them. I was dodging one group coming right at me and hit my Knee right into a stone pillow so today I have a very swollen knee.

But what has me really upset today is the Rep Chris from Circaid called me and said the engineers there do not think they can fit my legs with their product so my legs are so huge and messed up that even things made to help cannot work I just want to cry scream etc. I am so close to just going into a corner( or my bedroom) and staying there for a while I just feel helpless and I hate this whole catch-22 thing.

I am so sorry things are not going well for you right now. Are they still going to try to make the things for your legs or did they say they definitely can not? Are there other companies that make them?
I will keep my fingers crossed that you can find something to help you with your legs. I can't even imagine how hard and frustrating that is for you.

Thanks it is just frustrating to not be able to do anything with My Legs even when I got to My lowest weight and was wearing a 12 in shorts I still could not wear Pants because of My Legs.

They said their is 1 other type of device that may work but it is about $800 each Leg and I just do not see how I can afford it. The $452 each leg was going to kill my budget for months. It just gets really old some days dealing with this not only do I deal with all the fat haters but have to deal with all the comments on my huge legs.

People can be such *******s - I'm so sorry you had a crappy day. I'm praying for you and your Lymphedema... I wish I had advice, but i mostly just have good thoughts and prayers for you.

You're a wonderful person Jann - I really appreciate your heart and spirit. I hope things will have an upturn soon!
