We went shoppin yesterday for all our good foods.. .. and today I brought a big salad with tuna on it.. yum.. I didn't however , have time for brekky.. I so need to plan ahead.. I am going to boil 2 dozen eggs tonight....gonna make some into Angel eggs.. then have the rest for salad.. .. and just to grab....

Good morning me...

I was proud of meself last night.. I wanted to munch on everything.. something... last night.. but did not..evening is my worst time.. as it prolly is to a lot of people.. you know, while watching TV,,, but I made it.. I had one sf jello cup.. orange if you wanna know.... here is the menu

B.. nadda
L.. salad..lettuce.. can of tuna.. half of a small tomato...3 strips on green peppers.. and shredded cheese..( not sure if I added that yesterday?) and ranch dressing

D..pork loin.. 2 kinda on the small side.. green beans cooked up in butter.. mushrooms and zucchini... fergot me onions.. grr..lol..

S ..sf jello

not too bad huh.. I woke up about 6:30 with a grumble in my tummy.. but I fell back to sleep.... I was thinking to meself as I was trying to fall back to sleep.. hmm oatmeal sounds good... maybe some eggs.. but the snooze monster took over... yayaya..

today I had no brekky again.. cause I didn't get up in time.. I brought left overs from din din last night., just one small pork loin though.. and 1/2 cp of cottage cheese with a tad bit of splenda.. for sumpin sweet.....

Dinner is chicken breast.. with maybe a salad on the side.. sounds good to me..

SOMETHING TO WORK ON:

I need to get in the habit of taking my cinnamon capsules.. AND DRINKING MORE H2O...

I am soooo excited for you! Great job

I have a suggestion for getting more water in.

I have some 20 ounce plastic bottles that originally had sparkling spring water in them. I love the fizz! Anyway, I fill them 1/2 way with water then pop them into the freezer. When I think of it, I take one out of the freezer, fill it up with water and enjoy the super cold water. I LOVE my water iced, so this works out well...I keep re-filling until the ice is gone. I can get in 60 or so ounces from each chunk of ice.

This is a great idea Jaimie.. thanks.. I will get me some bottles. .. I just have a problem with drinking period..lol.. I could go all day and not drink a thing.. but most days , I will drink with a meal.. especially dinner.. I can have water.. or something on my desk all day at work and not touch it.... don't know why I am like that..lol.. I can have a can of d coke last me a whole day..lol.. then I throw it out because its hot..lol..

I will work on it though..lol.. again.. thanks for the good idea

Another great day to be proud of ..

Dinna was a chicken breast ( boneless).. and a side salad that had lettuce..1/2 of a small tomato..green peppers..onions..cucumbers.. and a little shredded cheese... ranch dressing.. oh and 1 boiled egg.. I cut up my lemon pepper chicken and put it on my salad.. it was delishhhhhh..

iced tea with splenda to drink.. still drinking that same glass and its almost 11:00pm. and I made it at 6:45..lol. I did drink some water today at work..

THINGS TO WORK ON... water.. portion control.. I didn't eat all my salad.. but most of it..lol.. but I don't think having a lot of salad will hurt me.. its the other stuff.. right?.. right..

ok the next 2 days I have off.. I will be good.. but most likely not on here.. gonna spend time wiff my kiddos.. school back in session in less then a month now.. wow how time flies..

oh good news.. ... DH and I both got a bonus today on our pay checks.. I got $100. and DH got 500.... with a little note thanking us for all we do... isn't that the sweetest.. I was shocked.. That's a house payment.... very good people they are .... we are blessed..

Becky..... good to see you in here again.. I read your new journal the yesterday while at work and didn't get time to comment.. so sorry..I'll get back over there to visit hehe

Today I had another pat myself on the back moment ..DH and I went shopping ( bought some new T-Fal cook wear..) and on the way home he wanted to know where I wanted to stop and eat.. at first I said ( as always) it's up to you.... then I said..why don't you just stop and get you a burger and I'll eat at home...he loves his burgers..lol.. but anyway.. he was headed to our favorite place to go.. The Asian Buffet..., but when I mentioned the burger.. he was like.. sounds good to me.. so I avoided my fav food...... although when we go there, I try my best to eat low carb.. you all know ho that is.. .. so on the way home from Greenwood...I pondered back and forth..lol.. and I won....

also this am.. after watching Rachael ray.. I went out and got in the pool.. all alone for an hour.. did my exercises and then got some sun.. then I went in and got kayden and Alina and we played around for another hour.. got out at noon and made lunch.. they had wraps... and I had a salad with fried steakem on it..

so this is my days menu..

B.. none.. well, a cup ( rather a half cup) of coffee with splenda .. sf hazelnut

L.. salad..lettuce..steakums.. 2 slices of tomato..onion..2 boiled eggs..( chopped up)..green pepper.. and cucumber..couldn't eat it all.. but it was good.... iced tea..

D.. 2 brats.. and about 3/4 cup cottage cheese.. and a coke zero

that's it.. .. day 3 down and feelin FINEEEE

I'll try to get back here tomorrow evening when things die down..

hey Kimmer.. the pool is heavenly!!

went grocery shoppin today and when I got home and put stuff away.. I got in the pool for 2 hours.. and I am burnt...I look like this.... but not mad..lol.. the water was so0o0o refreshing..it was in the 90's today.. and they said tomorrow is gonna be the hottest day so far.. so we'll see....

Bought some catfish nuggets today... so for dinner I used my carb quick and added some spices and I must day.. was very good .. I know I am not at the point where I should be using the stuff.. but it was a very light dusting.. so I don't think it was to bad.. and it could be worse.. you know.. if I would have used the white stuff....I also bought some shrimp scampi..there was 20 shrimp in the box and I split it with the MIL.. and I blotted then sauce.. so.. it was yummy as well.. the rest of the house had roasted taters with their fish

so here is my menu..

Brekky.. 10:15... 3 eggs scrambled.. with bacon bits and a slice of American cheese... iced tea..

Lunch..nothing.. went shoppin , then swimming.. got out at 4:00 and started cookin..

Dinner.. 10 catfish nuggets and 10 shrimp scampi..iced tea.. and water later this evening.

well, that was my day.. tomorrow , back to work.. .. love my job,, but who wouldn't rather stay at home and play with the kiddos..

I talked to my bestest friend tonight.. I SO miss her.... she told me she is getting a room ready for us to come and spend the night.. yeahh..Its a long drive there.. so it would be nice to go on a sat.. stay the night , then come home.. ..more time to visit as well..

OK I am gonna go for now.. I'll check on everyone tomorrow when I get to work.. Love yaaaa allll..

edited to add what I forgot.. me and the MIL had a lil snack tonight.. I fergot.. I had 2 (small) scoops of sugar free icecream..it also has half the fat.. I know I shouldn't have this yet.. but if I don't have something , I am scared I will not make it.. so.. I will be having things like this every now and again.. If this is going to be a life long battle for me , .. I need to learn everything now.. not stay away from the things I love , then one day have it and over do it.. so.. For me.. I am going to have things... but sugar free.. I believe I will still lose weight.. because its not the norm for me.. so for now.. I'll play it by ear and see how it goes.. ..

OK gotta get..

brekky... 2 angel egg halves..(while makin some for me lunch hehe)

L.. will be.. meat rolls..(budding turkey w/ cream cheese, chives, garlic, onions and a splash of steak sauce) 2 sf spear pickles, and 4 angel egg halves.. sounds like a lot.,. ??.. might eat a little at lunch and the rest later..

D..not sure yet.. something with hamburger..?? maybe a burger and a salad.. sounds good to me....

Felling all kinds of energy.... lovin it..

brekky was 3 fried eggs in EVOO..lunch.. not sure yet.. boss buys today.. sop a salad of some sort..

Dinner.. DH and I will be having a date night.. but I'll be good .. the MIL is taking the kiddos to DH's dads to stay over night..so we'll have the house to our selves.. nice and quietttttt..

today was very busy here at work.. so we'll see how today goes.. .. I like keepin busy .. makes for a faster day hehe..

hello all ..

date night was ok.. didn't do anything real special..lol.. just went out to eat.. and went shoppin..he did want to go to the Chinese place.. but I made very good choices and had only the one plate....so I don't feel too bad about it.. Sunday I was right back at it ..

Sunday menu.. brunch.10:30. broc and cauli with lil smokies all cooked up together.. yum..

Dinner.. 7:30..baked pork chop with grill seasonings.. mock mash taters and spinach.. and 2 angel eggs

dessert..strawberry cheese cake..low carb style.. a small piece.. it was delish...

I have you know my MIL ate what I ate,, and she has went on and on about the Mock taters and cheese cake..saying how the "taters' was better then mashed potatoes.... I told her they were easier to make as well... and she couldn't believe the cheese cake was low carb..

I did explain to her how I wasn't actually supposed to have this just yet as far as going by the book.... but she doesn't have much to loose at all.. and like I said.. I will have some lc treats.. ..

for those of you interested.. not sure if anyone has ever done this.. ( I am sure SOMEONE has hehe) but Instead of the gram crackers I ground up some oats.. added splenda.. melted the butter.. and there is a good crust.. ..

lets see.. today..no brekky.. and left overs from last night for lunch.. except no spinach..oh and 2 angel egg halves.. ..water to drink..

ok gotta run.. wow have we been busy..

Another good sub for graham crackers are ground nuts. Mix with Splenda and butter. Yummy!
