Rollerdave Takes Back his Life!!!

So here it is, June 30, and I'm, 8lbs down from last week.

I'm a male, in my early 40's and I live with my Love, LCBeck, my daughter, Angie, and an indetermiate number of stray people who come and go.

I'm wheelchair bound, and am starting my journey from 489lbs

I own a really big house so I let folks stay from time to time. I'll be referring to them pretty regular, so allow me to introduce the cast of supporting Characters (using psuedonyms for privacy)
Red Queen, Beck and Rosies Mom
Rosie, Beck's sister
Petboy, Rosie's fiance
Jerome, the guy who ran off with my first wife
Codster, jerome's son (with my ex)
Manda, our Watch-Pooch.

We moved in here two years ago and are just now unpacking, we had two garages full of storage at our apt and they wound up in our basement and garage, so that nixed my plans to put work-out equipment in the basement.

The general plan is to lose weight this summer as a demonstration of my ability to do so or I will be forced to have LAP band surgery and that Ain't cool.

I'll be low-carbing it with my sweetie and occasionally my daughter. We like stella, some atkins, blaine, all that good stuff. Also, our house came with about ten acres of mirrors on the wall so we got THAT going for us.

We are pretty good cooks, so that should be fun.

Exercise also figures in my plan, and I have schemes of varying complexity and likelihood to accomplish it.

I want to try walking along the Mississippi river just outside of downtown St Paul where they have a nice walkway and handicapped parking.

I am interested in finding a way to use a treadmill, but have issues with my size that require some adaptation.

I want to build a quadracycle (four wheeled bike) by putting two kid bikes side by side and connecting them with a seat in between, and pedals out front, and a drivetrain and steering.

So, as it stands, I'm 9lbs down, and gearing up the LC kitchen.

We have a big party the 4th, so we spent the day working on our screen porch. It was badly built by whoever built it, untreated unpainted wood, scummy old screen, large gaps that let bugs between boards, and this asnine latticework all around from floor to chair-rail height that gave the little buggers hiding and breeding places.
So far we are caulking, sealing, and painting the 'bones' of it, and are going to screen in the openings once that is done but hopefully before the 4th of july.

Til next time,

Roller

OK, here we go again, same stuff as before, only i'm near 40lbs down, no longer take in stray, and already BOUGHT the bike because a real bike is so much more usable than a fantasy.

So here we go again.
