Getting to 35

I started this year with a goal of getting as healthy as I could get by my 35th birthday in Nov. I started by quitting smoking in March ...yeah! I then decided to have a foot surgery I had been putting off which in the end will make exercise easier....and then I set sites on losing weight!


So my Start date for the weight loss was 4/23/07 I was 161 lbs. I had lost 4 lbs a few weeks before that. So really I started by journey at 165. I am just about 5"2 I personally think I am more of a medium build. Most of my 20s a good weight for me was 125....after I hit my later 20s I flopped back and forth between 150 and 130.

My goal is 125 which would give me some wiggle room as I would be happy to maintain at 130.

My first two weeks went well. I went form 161 to 153 or 8 lbs.
After that for the entire month of May I only lost 1.5 lbs bringing me to 151. 5.
I tried everything from increasing calories, getting rid of at least everything once. I did not let it frustrate me, I knew it would catch up to eventually.
I had no cheats at all.

Since the start of June I have gone down to 148.5. I have not figured out why I always have the .5.....lol. I dropped the 3 lbs after a really long stall. I have not really changed anything in my diet to be honest. I think it all just started to kick in.

start measurements: ( im short.....remember so even this many inches still does not do a whole lot in regards to sizes)
Breast 40
Waist 40
Hips 40

6/7/07
Breast 36
Waist 35
Hips 38

at my highest I was wearing a 14 or a 16 I am now in a 12

Went to a party last night. I managed to stay away from all the great food and cake...though its never easy. But I had a planned drinking binge...lol I drank a few glasses of wine. I woke up to no changes, still in ketosis and not up on the scale. I have heard others say that that actually bugs them days after the fact...we'll see.

Well lucky for me the drinking did not do a thing....I guess. I just feel like everything has moved slow, and I think thats the way it will stay. I am down another pound to 147.5. More importantly I can actually tell a difference in the way I feel and the way my clothes fit!

My other issue is that I worry I just don't eat enough. I mean I am not all that hungry ...which I love. I love not obsessing about food all the damn time! The bad part is I go like a week with no more than 800 or so calories. dont know yet, but Im watching and trying to add more fat here and there for calories...
