Hi Everybody!!!

Hi everyone. I am back on adkins again after about two years. Three years ago, I started it and went from about 170 down to 129. I also did tai-bo and I felt great. I had lots of energy and felt really good. I kind of fell of the wagon for a while, though I still don't eat to many sweets (my downfall is chips and popcorn). So I decided to start back up again. So here is my menu from today.

B-2 eggs and 2 hashbrowns(like from mcdonalds). I hadn't decided I wanted to eat better yet.

L-boneless, skinless chicken breast & salad with a little thousand island

D-hamburger patty with cheese and lettuce, topped with hot sauce and sour cream

hot dog with mustard

2 deviled eggs

Not great but here's my menu for tommorow, lets hope I can stick to it.

B-2 deviled eggs (made with mayo & mustard)

S-peanuts

L-Chicken with salad and ranch

S-Cheese stick

D-Taco Salad with ranch

maybe some SF jello if I get to hungry before bed

Feel free to add suggestions and menu ideas, I always got bored before cause I have no imagination. Have a nice day!

So yesterday I didn't do to bad, except I went out with the girls and since I don't like mixed drinks I drink beer and it only takes a couple before the carb count adds up.

B-2 deviled eggs

S-peanuts & cheese stick

L-grilled chicken salad w/ 1000 (I know not the best dressing but I'm sick of ranch)

S-cheese stick

D-I kind of skipped dinner,

70 oz water, getting better at remembering to drink my H2O.

I weighed myself this morning and I'm down to 141. I know it's water weight but it still feels good to see the scale go down. I think when I reach my first mini goal I'll start adding in treadmill time. I have to watch myself though cause if I do to many things at once I will burn out and quit. So... baby steps and just watch my diet for now.

Well I am back up to 143, that beer I had on friday is catching up to me. I started a fitday journal today. That site is pretty cool. So here's the link to it anyone wants to check it out. I'm gonna drink my water today like a good girl and stay under 20 carbs and hopefully the number on the scale won't go back up.

One thing I have noticed is the peanuts. If you are on induction, nuts of any kind aren't allowed. The fitday link just took me to the fitday site, but not to your info. It looks to me like you aren't eating enough, but others might address that better than me. Good luck!

Thanks, I haven't read the book in so long I forget the "real" rules for induction and just kind of wing it. I'll have to read it again and figure out the do's and don'ts. I feel like I am eating to much half the time. Thanks for the tips though. And judging by your profile, you seem like your on the right track, good job!!
