Changing my life, one day at a time

Week 1 Day 1.........
I am starting a 12 week body for life challenge. I have done Atkins for the last 7 weeks and lost 11 lbs. My reslove is slipping, I am starting to cheat more and more, so it is time for a change up. I know I need to do the exercise, and I am excited to start this new challenge in my life.

I took the measurements (ouch, what a weird body shape I have), stepped on the scale (189.2), mapped out what I will eat today, and what exercise I must do. I am going to journal here everyday, so I can watch my progress. My first mini goal is 8 lbs in 4 weeks.

Here is to a healthier, happier me............one day at a time

I did good for the first day. I walked very fast for 15 minutes. Have to do better tomorrow. I plan on lifting UB tomorrow first thing in the morning.

Menu:1 bowl oatmeal, 1 Tbsp flax, 2 egg whites and 1 egg
1 turkey burger, small bun, 1 cup salad, 1 tbsp dressing
small amount walnuts
chicken breast grilled, served on bed of lettuce, mandrine oranges, almonds, and ginger dressing

5 bits cheesy potatoes

Ok, so I tried BFL again, and didn't even make it two days. I just have to recommit myself to Atkins, and then stay there. It works, I don't crave when I am doing it right, and I love that feeling, so I guess Atkins it is for me. 189.2

Well, the bfl thing just didn't work. Sounded good, but I learned that I am just so carb addicted, that the oatmeal set me off. Back to atkins. Lesson learned. Weight 194. I have gained 4 lbs of my 13 back. I am going to do induction, plus walking for the next 2 weeks, then reassess.
