I went out with my BFF last night. We went to Granite City where my youngest daughter works part time.

I had a cocktail (rum&diet), a bunless burger with a slice of cheese, and a side salad. I'm a good girl!

My BFF ate all the bread and was cursing me for letting her. She's 6 feet tall and pretty slender so I didn't feel too sorry for her.

DD went up to her manager to let him know that I was in the resto since family members get 20 percent off the bill (nice perk!). She said to him, "Did you know my mom is here"? He replied, "I ALWAYS know when your mom is here."

Eee gads life is so crazy right now. I am craving the day when my house is NOT a mess from some project.

My DD and her fiance is moving in Saturday and we've been scrambling to get the mother-in-law apartment ready for them.

DBF tiled and grouted in my kitchen and today I get to put it back together; the kitchen that is.

A plumber is coming tomorrow to begin putting in a shower and toilet in their space too. Yea! But it's another project with messes to be made. arg! lol

It's been very challenging keeping on plan. I've lost many of these challenges.

Bet if u strapped on a Heart Rate monitor, u could count doing the floors as a workout, but u have 2 be down there 4 30 mins. Glad ur happy and doing well, can't wait until u can post more.

Luv, luv, luv the new avie, u always look so happy. Glad u stopped by, hopefully all is well w/ u, and u r eating on track and making those shakes, I am eating everything and anything, that's y I workout, I will get back on track w/ diet when my scale is released from captivity. The color on the wall is clay, thanx, I am busy painting 2day also, will post pix so u can check out what color I chose, I'm livin on the edge w/ this 1 (remember I'm a prude so not so much)

On track and feeling very good about that.

I did 1/2 of my Callanetics DVD yesterday! I did I did!

It's hard, but I loved all the stretching.

George got three walks yesterday too. It has been cooler here the past couple of days and DBF even ran George a few blocks with his bike. George seems to get heated up pretty quick so we didn't want to overdo. He seemed to like running along with the bike.

It was a good weekend.

Ack! I'm a doofus!

I seem to have a trigger in my brain.

Last night when I got home something switched and I ate every sugary thing I could find.

Arrg! A better choice would have been to leash up George and walk off whatever it was that was bugging me.

Back on the straight and narrow today though. I didn't step on the scale to see any damage. If I can't see it it didn't happen!

I'm on the road to being an angel today too.

Today's plan:

B - Yo Cheese with whey protein
L - Cobb salad
S - Pistachios
S - I want to try something with the shiritaky (spelling!) noodles tonight. Maybe a quick red sauce with sausage.

I am planning on doing another half hour of Callanetics and walk George after the sun goes down.

I'm back!

My life is much more balanced now so there are no excuses. I have rejoined my club and plan on going tomorrow night with #1 daughter.

Tonight with #2 daughter I'm going to walk around the lake she lives by with George.

I'm on track with my eating today and plan on staying there. I am trying to drink my water and take my vitamins.

Soon it will be time to move the cool weather clothes into my closet and I want to be able to wear them!

Thank God for new beginnings.

On track for the third day. Yea me!

I had this awesome day yesterday!

1. Found out my job is NOT being eliminated. My department was in the middle of being reorganized. Two people did lose their jobs. That is so sad. But I'm happy for me!

2. I had worked on new signage for our large booth and it came yesterday. It looks awesome! Whoooo hoo! I'm so happy.

3. I'm making great progress on a hard project. I will meet deadline. Yea!

Walked George yesterday with Sarah too. We are going to the club tonight; last night just didn't work.

Ooops! No club last night either. The weather is soooooooo nice here we just couldn't bear the thought of going indoors so we walked George down to the river for about an hour. The walk back was challenging since it was uphill for a loooooong ways.

Yesterday's eating was on track. Ate nuts though. I do seem to do a mindless eating thing with them so I put them away from my desk. Brought 2 mozzy sticks today instead.

Daisy you are doing great, the journaling makes u more accountable I found out. Awesome job of getting some form of exercise and eating on plan. Lil changes to the routine are awesome, especially when they improve your mental and spiritual health in the process ( Imagining how wonderful it must have been 2 get outdoors w/ the family) Keep it up, we are in this 2 win it, looking delicious for the Holidays.

I know I shouldn't see any of this as success vs failure, but it's hard at times.

Did well yesterday. Had my DBF's momma over for dinner (we have her over almost every Thursday night). We grilled small steaks and I made salads and zucchini with a bit of cheese.

Momma brought homemade pumpkin pie. I just didn't want to hurt her feelings because she brought it special for me. I ate a few bites. I felt so bad! I know even a few bites is bad bad.

I won't have a piece next time or serve it in a way where she can't tell if I'm not eating it or something! lol

<sigh>

Tonight (if it's not raining still) I plan on walking George again. Saturday I'm still planning on going to the club. Yea!

The weather here in Minnesota has been so strange! It was 86 yesterday! And it's about 78 right now. It's October people! This doesn't happen very often. So Scott and I rode George on the bikes twice for miles and miles. George is wore out completely! Then we did a ton of yard work, raking and cleaning gutters. I am exhausted!

Bowling league tonight. I hope I have the strength to throw the ball down the alley!

I was in a little fender-bender Friday night and didn't think much of it. Apparently my neck thinks differently! My neck and knee are hurting. I need to quit procrastinating and get to a chiropractor. Blech.
