I mentioned yesterday in my daily macro post that I hadn't had any cheats. That might not be wholly true if I think about the couple of times I ate nuts and the day I squirted some canned topping. I do believe that those would technically be considered cheats.

I was reading around in here yesterday. There is a lot of different thought processes going on. The best way for me is to pay attention (I keep coming back to that) and really find my place. Not twit around when I see someone else having success in what they're doing. Learn from them, no doubt, but stick with my course, adjust my course as needed, and make a course for me. Me! That's my plan for the next week.

For a first week I feel very good. I kept on track, stayed within my carb amount. Here are my weekly stats.

I do feel I need to watch calories more. That is going to be challenging since I'm trying to stay higher fat. What to do??[/COLOR]

You've made them before? Someone should have told me! They were seriously delicious. I am excited for lunch today because I have leftovers.

Very easy to do too. I don't have a zoodler, but I just used my potato peeler.

I had a woosh! Yay! With all my whining and grousing the universe still provided me with motivation. Motivation!

This morning the scale read 192.

Here's the cool part. I have been sleeping horribly. I have trouble sleeping and it's been way worse. Ketosis? Maybe. Calvin (new kitty)? Maybe. George having tummy troubles 2-3 nights in a row? Maybe.

Last night at 2:30 Calvin started jumping on my head and George woke up and HAD to go out. I cranked at Pupcake that he was pretty good at ignoring them. Poor guy. George IS my dog. I had him before we got engaged.

Calvin was Pupcake's idea, but I can see he's just not very good at the daily care involved. That's okay. Plus he's getting into his busy season. Normally I'm fine with all of the pet responsibility. But I was sleeping good! Once I get up and walk about that's it. I'm done. I dozed on the couch for a bit and now I feel like I have a hangover.

But I digress . . . when I first got up and realized I wasn't going back to bed I felt grumpy and tired and felt like I deserved naughty treats. I considered it! Toast, cereal, chips roamed around in my brain.

But I didn't. I grabbed a water. Posted on here for a few minutes. Went into the livingroom, wrapped up in a blanky, and found some dumb thing to doze to. Hooray me! I am huge on the "I deserve a treat - I've had a rough day" syndrome. I'm so happy.

The best news was when I got up around 8:00 and weighed myself and it said 192. I was rewarded for my little step.

I am so happy today. I haven't fallen.

Maybe it's just the extra energy I'm getting from ketosis?

I don't know! I'm not loving that part, but everything else I'm loving.

I do enjoy how I feel thinner through my middle when I'm not eating the icky carbs.

Are you doing induction to kick start the new year?

I was thinking about your post on goal weights. It is tough to know exactly what's right. 158 seems reasonable and you can always adjust up or down as needed.

I am still doing BFL, but have done some major off plan eating during the holidays. Time to get serious again.

How are you liking the Nordic Track?

Goal weights are so tricky aren't they? I have the kind of body that when I weigh in the 150s I'm pretty slim. Probably an 8-10. Crazy hmm? My bones must be heavy and I'm just a bigger girl all around. Thick legs and all.

I am really liking the Nordic Track! Since my knee troubles I couldn't walk much or very fast so I thought the NT would be the thing. I like it!

I started back on clean eating Dec 29. It feels soooooooooooo good doesn't it?

This is the year!
