I am totally stealing the weight slider in the siggy line from Vanessa. I love watching hers go down and maybe mine will go down as well.
Good karma and all. So far this weekend - considering what we're trying to accomplish - not so bad. I have much to do today and better get off this computer! |

She was wearing our bag on her shoulder, she is so cute and fashionable, and really petite, ooops about 2 spill some "hatorade", I love clothes, bags, and shoes, everyone was sporting "Coaches" on the trip, it was a bag show, my new backpack had a lot of inquiries, over 20, it is so cute, I even had people smelling it, I'm dead at that, LOL. I told them the price and everyone said next time it's on sale I need 2 share, LOL. Hope u have a great week, don't think I haven't noticed that weight moving down, u go girl, love the tracker, more accountability.
Bad Girl moment, I ate a ton of "Mary Janes" yesterday, paying for it, wish I could have been strong like u w/ the candy corn, blah.

Coach bags are my favorites for sure. I have a couple that I will have forever I think! I even have a Coach backpack I've had for - gosh - I bet 8 years or so! I am eagerly waiting for delivery of the new bag.
Funny - this weekend I was moving a lot of my closet over to Pupcake's and in the packing found many bags I had kinda forgotten about. I am carrying one of them today. I bought it at Bass many years ago when little DD was working at the outlet mall at the Bass. Still a very cute bag. Nope - my ticker is STUCK! I am really hoping and working this week for something. A pound! Come on! lol Don't give me TOO much credit though - this weekend with all the chaos and working nonstop morning until morning (tired!) we ate a couple of fast food runs. I have to say that Burger King is NOT the place to have a side salad. Yuck. I try to drag Pupcake to Panera as much as possible, but sometimes he does fuss. I am at work now and can concentrate on my water, vitamins, coconut oil, and eating clean. Yay! Your ticker is moving and encouraging mine to do the same.

Few things can stand the withering test of time. But there are some candy recipes that are so special that as the years go by they taste just as good as they did back when you were a child. Mary Jane’s are one of those special treats that has achieved this feat, and will be here for a long time coming. Even the wrapper has not been altered since the first batch was distributed in 1914.This delicious morsel assaulted my taste buds with it’s one of a kind peanut butter and molasses flavor, something that sounds so incredibly simple but tastes so good. It’s chewy like a piece of taffy but just as easily able to be rolled up and savored if you so desire. Believe it or not, it was originally named after the creators’ favorite aunt! Talk about leaving a mark on society long after you’re gone! Sometimes sticking to the basics is the best, and with the century mark coming up for the little candy that could, there’s no need to change a thing. Mary Jane’s are still a candy that both young and old can enjoy together. ![]() Nothing major, I just have this thing about peanut butter, and It makes me feel nostalgic, LOL. The Bags most have been like finding $ in ur coat pocket. I have a ton of black bags, I am just trying 2 step out of the mold and bring some color in my life, and outfits ![]() I really do well during the work week also, but on the weekends, I don't know, I just go crazy. I have been dropping, and am really surprise, I keep the carbs between 30-50 during the week and I am dropping like I was on induction, so close to recapturing my siggy weight, can't wait 2 start seeing that start to move down again. I think we deserve credit for not having the scale go up, so let's keep it going. ![]() |

Dang it Daisy!! Where are you?? Come back!! Please??
Aren't you due to be in SF soon?? I will be in town!! I wanna meet you!! Please just let us know if you're OK?? Tichatte, isn't this terrible? We get to know people here and then when someone we really start to care about "disappears", we have no way of knowing if they are OK or if something tragic has happenned in their lives... Do you have any way of contacting Daisy?? via email or phone or anything?? |

Oh all of you guys are so damn sweet!
The past couple of months have been challenging and I missed this place to much. I ripped my meniscus in my right knee, had an MRI, and for the time being am doing therapy, but I have to say I'm getting real tired of gimping and limping along. I have FALLEN so far off the wagon I can't even see it in the distance! But to catch up . . . Moved in with Pupcake on Nov 1. Love it! It has taken us AGES to squish my stuff in this place and finish the remodeling we were working on. I am mostly settled, but the knee really held me back. Hard to gimp around and get anything done! But the house is coming along nicely. I also moved with my company to new offices. I lost my private office (we are now squeezing 250 people into a space that houses 196. So there is lots of office sharing. I am in a pretty public area and can't post as I like to. ![]() And it took Pupcake and I some major time to get my computer hooked up at home. Then I was so bummed that I had been so far off plan I couldn't make myself log in. Then I heard from Diane (Hummingbird) and I've been thinking about here ever since. Aaaah, I think I'm all caught up on everyone's journals. Everyone is doing so good! Miss Speedy is kickin' major @ss, Tich has pictures that are amazing, HB had an awesome vacay, Vanessa continues to be the LCF motivator. It's great to be back on track for me too.
I'm off for the holidays. Whoo hoo! I go back on Monday, but next week will be slow at work. My darling Lorenzo is in town from SF and staying with Pupcake and me. She's a busy little thing running around seeing all her friends. I'm being the nice Momma and letting her use my Ruby (Jeep Wrangler). I try not to look when she drives out the driveway. Aaaah! I do not share well! LOL We have kitties in our lives. Oh dear! What could have possessed us? Pupcake really really wanted a kitty since he had to have his put down before he met me. So poor George is sharing his life with two little hellions. He just doesn't know what to do. So this 75 pound doggy gets kicked out of his chair by these two 1 pound fluffys. Funny! One of them is going back to SF with Lorenzo. She is a darling little tabby that we appropriately named DK for Diva Kitty. Sarah Bella (Lauren's sister) is getting DK a pink collar for Christmas. Cute! The other little guy is all gray and, right now anyway, fluffy. We named him Calvin. He is hell on paws! His little nuggies are going to go as soon as they make an appearance. Everyone tells me he will mellow after that. I love the little rascal. Why do us empty-nesters get pets?? I know the answer. You'd think we'd just kick back and relax! Ha! Click on the thumbnail to get a better look at these two little rascals. Last edited by DaisyGG; 12-23-2008 at 06:23 AM.. |

Day 1
B - coffee with stevia and HWC, clementine S - green tea L - clementine S - 2 vodka/diets (happy hour with my daughter) D - Panera - 1/2 sandwich and cup of cheddar/broccoli soup Water - about 40 oz. Need to get that up there I detoxed a bit on this first day. A mini-fast if you will. It felt good to give the goodies a rest. Lots of peeing! How does the body know? I know this is a really bad time to start anything. But I don't need that excuse. I'm going to do my very best this next week to make better choices. Alcohol is part of that right now with all the social engagements. Last edited by DaisyGG; 12-23-2008 at 07:03 AM.. |

Vodka diets were my drink of choice until I found I could get a really good buzz off just one glass of wine. Then I started getting a major hangover from just one glass so I tried the VDC again. Same thing. One drink and I am feeling good and then the next day feeling like crap. That's what happens when you low carb. I am kind of nervous for New Year's Eve because we are hosting and I want to partake, but man it sucks nuggets (what you call them) the next day. Glad you are back in the saddle. Makes me feel good having another Minnahsoooootan here!

I love wine myself. But I get so sleepy after drinking a glass or two. And I totally get Tourette's syndrome. I say things out loud that I really shouldn't.
![]() Some are amused, many are not. Ha! What I truly love are vodka martinis made with Belvedere and just a tiny bit of vermouth. At least 3 fat almond-stuffed olives. Oh nummy Of course, being a bad drinker, the fun is just about over when I have one of those. I need to learn to sip my vodka! I do like to have a nice scotch once in a while too. It's nice on a cold winter evening to sip. |
