Jen's Journey to Wellness
This looks like a good place to chronicle my new way of living!
My highest weight was 340 lbs in November 2003. I lost 70 lbs with Medifast, but ended up putting it all back on but about 10 lbs. Since then I've tried several things, with my last stint being with Weight Watchers. In 16 weeks, I only lost 7 lbs. Maybe it's because I used most of my points on sugar--ya THINK?? I started Somersizing on May 7, 2007. Some friends of mine had good success on the program, so I thought I would give it a go! Mondays will be my weigh-in day. Week 1: Starting weight: 316 Weight 5/14: 310 +/- -6 TOTAL: -6 I have not done any exercise yet--I'm battling a sinus infection, ear infection, and a breathing condition known as RAD. I'm on some good drugs now, so I'm hoping everything will be clearing up very soon! If you're still reading this-- ![]()

B: 2 boiled eggs L: Wendy's Chicken Caesar Salad D: at a friends--I think serving roast beef! BTW, I'm tracking my calories at Spark People--I haven't reached 800 cals yet!! |

Dinner last night was Roast Beef and Green Beans with butter. I ended up at about 1300 calories.
I'm just amazed that I am not experiencing the hunger like I did when I was eating carbs. Sometimes I have to remind myself to eat! Today's Food: B: Sausage McMuffin with Egg, minus the muffin L: Not sure yet D: Not sure yet How's that for planning ahead? LOL |

Looks like I skipped a whole day! I've never been very consistent with journals anyway. I'll not stress about it though....
I really think my body is carb sensitive. Yesterday I had a chicken salad wrap from Arby's and ate well the rest of the day, and my weight was up a coouple of pounds! I need to stay off the scale except for that one day a week. |
