Talia's Wt. Loss & Fitness Journal
Well, today is day 3 of Kinda Atkins induction (wouldn't suit the purists
). I'm doing good except for some expected headaches. My starting wt. was a little over 156 on the 3rd (thanks to 2 cute little ones right in a row) and this morning I weighed in at 149.Food for today: Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 sausage links, coffee w/1 Tbsp. heavy cream snack: coffee/black, 1 hb egg Lunch: Lg. salad w/chopped up hb egg, tuna and homemade ranch dressing snack: celery stick w/a Little tuna salad spread on, diet root beer w/1/4 cup heavy cream mixed in Dinner: Hamburger patty with mayo on top, green beans w/butter, mixed green salad Before bed: cup raspberry herbal tea

told you I'd get around to it.Day 4 and down another pound to 148! I'm surprised how quickly this is coming off. I'm wondering what my 2 wk induction total will be. My first time, weighing a lot more than when I started this time, was 11 lbs. So far I'm down 8.6 pounds. Meal plan: B: 2 scrambled eggs, 1 sausage patty, coffee with 1 Tbsp. heavy cream s: celery with cream cheese L: hamburger patty with 1 slice cheese melted on it, raw broccoli w/ranch dip, spinach salad, diet A&W rootbeer s: hb egg D: grilled chicken breast, green beans w/butter, mixed greens salad w/1 Tbsp. ranch dressing, coffee-black Bedtime: cup of Sleepytime herbal tea (having a harder time falling asleep) |

Day 5 and I'm feeling amazingly Good! Down another 1/2 pound to 147.5 for a total of 9.1 pounds gone. Can't believe I was holding on to that much water and I'm feeling so nice and slim already.
This time around I'm eating a higher % of fat than I did before and I'm wondering if that is contributing to my feeling good and losing quicker this time around. So far my eating plan for today is: B: 2 fried eggs, 3 sm. sausage links, coffee w/heavy cream S: hb egg and celery L: Lg. mixed green salad w/chopped up egg, a little tuna, shredded cheddar cheese, 1/4 tomato and full fat ranch dressing, coffee with heavy cream S: diet orange soda with 1/4 c. heavy cream in blender with ice D: grilled hamburger patty w/slice cheese, broccoli w/ranch dip, spinach salad with ranch, diet soda bedtime: cream w/cocoa and splenda *100 oz of water spread throughout the day Starting to exercise today and will be taking a 2 mile walk as soon as hubby is out of the show and can watch our toddler and baby. Last night I got my 1st good nights sleep, it was marvelous. I was starting to feel way too tired in the daytime. Headaches are completely gone and I'm feeling really energetic today. I got in a 2 mile walk this morning before hubby left for work and durring naptime I plan to go through T-Tapp Instructional #1 again...I'm feeling it from yesterday! Today's Meals: B: 2 hb eggs & bacon, coffee w/cream s: ham & cream cheese roll-up L: egg salad, mixed green salad, coffee w/cream s: roorbeer w/cream mixed in D: fried steak, green beans w/butter, salad bedtime: cup herbal tea |

My weight is the same this morning and I'm feeling really good though sore from T-Tapp.
My meal plan: B: 2 egg omelet, sausage patty, coffee w/heavy cream s: celery w/cream cheese L: tuna in a salad with ranch dressing, coffee w/heavy cream s: hb egg D: grilled chicken breast, broccoli w/dip, lg. salad bedtime: diet soda w/heavy cream Just doing a 2 mile walk for my exercise today. |

I surpassed my first mini-goal of 145 - I'm 143.5 pounds this morning - down 2 lbs!!! So far a 13.1 pound loss in 8 days - unbelievable to me. I'm trying to figure out why I'm losing more, faster this time around at a much lower starting weight than the last time and it's got to be that I was hold way more water after my baby than I thought.
Meals for today: B: 2 fried eggs, 2 link sausage, coffee w/heavy cream s: diet orange soda w/cream blended w/ice L: BLT using large lettuce leaves to hold it together s: hb egg - 1 or 2 D: grilled salmon and salad bedtime: cocoa and cream mixture For exercise today I'm doing a 2 1/2 mile walk and T-Tapp instructional 1. Not so sore today ![]() |

Hi Talia,
I just read through your journal. Thanks for posting it to share your journey. Your quick loss is great! I am having trouble right now with a bit of a stall, so I think your posts have helped me to see that I really need to force myself to eat some food at breakfast...not just coffee. I find with Ketosis I am just not hungry...especially in the am. Peace |
