Started again once and for all 4/9/07......

Well, I am back, I know I have said it before, but life just keeps getting in the way!!!! This time I am going to really give it my all and do my best!!!!!

I started on Monday, but I did not want to make my first post until I knew I was back on the wagon and not going to fall off again!!! I am doing great and have stayed on plan for 2 days with no problem and I am feeling so great right now.

The kids are on spring break so they are home and this is my hardest time when I am not home alone.....so if I can stay on now, then I should not have any issues staying on plan when they go back to school next week.

So far, I have lost 1.6 lbs!!!!! and that is great!!!! But the best part is that I am not feeling so bloated and FAT right now. It just amazes me at how quick after to start the WOL that you feel better.

Well my goal is to be under 200 when we take the kids to Disney in June, I have 59 days till we leave, so that is my time frame.

This time around, I am writing down everything that I eat, no matter what it is. That is one thing that is different this time around that I never really did before.

OK - so I am now officially back!!!!!

Thanks to everyone in the past that has supported me and I am sorry that I never stuck to it, but this time will be different!!! For me and my family.....

Hi,
I started on the 10th and man I feel so good today and have lost one pound. I'm 49 and my goal is to have off the 50 extra pounds by my birthday in November and at least 20 off by July 1st family reunion. So I'm rooting for you and me.

Well today is going really well and not hungry, so making myself eat, but it is easy to SOP when I am not hungry!!!!!! Righ now I am having a small bowl of SF jello

Not sure about dinner tonight, think I will go make some tuna and just have that with some salad

Well - off to fold laundry then back to picking up kids and running around.

Hi Kathy!!

Nice to 'see' you again.

The most important thing I have learned is to never give up and you have not given up so there is hope when you keep on keeping!

My kids have next week off too and that is aslo my hardest time, but I decided to treat it as a practice run for what summer break will be.

Thursday - 282.2

Well yesterday went great and SOP all day with no cheats. Drank plenty of water and feel great!!!!!! TOM is right around the corner so not sure what that will do to my effort right now!!!! Tuesday night I did 1 hr pilates class and 30 minutes of lyrical dance class; Wednesday night did 30 minutes of Tap dance class. Feeling great and still going strong.

Well today have lots to do so keeping busy. Have to take DD for costume fitting for a dance comstume, then I am taking both kids ice skating today for a while (that should be some good excersice for me I guess ) DS has ice skating lessons tonight and DD has to be at the gym/studio at 4:30 till 8:30. I need to go grocery shopping today sometime!!!!

Well off to start my day. I hope everyone has a great day and I will be thinking about you all and staying on plan.

Kathy we can do it!! I decided to treat next week as a maintaning week, as long as I end the week as the same wieght I started that is victory to me!

Friday - 227.4 !!!!! Down .8 lbs since yesterday, but total 2.6 since Monday!!!! I am feeling great. Started TOM full force this morning, so that is not great, but oh well, that is life!!!! SOP yesterday!!!!!! Even with the kids all day, took them to Chick-Fillet for lunch and I had a salad with grilled chicken and ranch dressing, then they wanted ice cream so we walked across to Goodberries and I am so proud that I did not order anything and did not even eat off the kids!!!!!!! I actually threw out what they did not want!!! Dinner was a salad at the pizza place and then I did not eat anything else till a cheese stick at around 10pm after came home from all my running around. See I can do it!!!!! Now to get through today My friend and I are taking the kids to the park since it is their last day of spring break, and we are packing lunches.....I will not make a sandwich for myself, but just bring the lunch meat and mustard and eat it rolled up.....also lots of water.

Yesterday was so great!!!! took the kids ice skating and then just spent time with them and they behaved so well and we all had such a good time!!!!!

DD is going tongith with her dance team to watch some of the girls compete tonight (she is competing tomorrow) so no worries there for me. DS is having a friend over and we are grilling burgers and watching movies....

Well still feeling great, but the weekend is coming and that is my worst time!!!! esp this weekend....DD has dance comp tomorrow and we will be at the theater from 1pm to 10pm and will be crazy....I usually do great cause I am so nervous for her that I tend not to eat cause I am not hungry, but then we normally go out to eat after so that is where I need to be careful. Or I snack all day on stupid things, just to keep my energy up.....hopefully I will be in the no eating mode!!!!!!!

Well off to get some cleaning done before we head out for our fun day.

Saturday - 227.2 down another .2 - that's ok - slow and steady is the best!!!!

I did great yesterday and we all had such a great time!!!!! The weather was just beautiful!!!!!!

Today DS has a soccer game and we have to leave in 5 minutes, then I come home, swap kids with my mom and take my DD to her dance comp. We will be there from 12:30 to around 10pm tonight; not getting home till after 12am!!!! Will be a tough day, but oh well

Kathy- your schedule sounds so much like mine...with all 3 kids doing activities and sports and school and working, how do we not lose our minds!

I am doing a plan called" Eat Fat get Thin" or EFGT by Barry Groves. I ordered an online book from him. I love this way of eating!
We have a challenge group over in 'other plans' if you want to check it out.
Basically its a high fat diet, lower carb, moderate protein diet. I try not to go over 60 grams of protein a day, my carbs are 30-40 and the rest is yummy fat. Check out the challenge for all the details!

OK - so my weekend was blown!!!! I did great on Saturday, but yesterday, was really tough and I just could not deal with this!!!!!! I so heat the weekends some time esp. when it comes to food!!!!!!! I get so frustrated!!!!!!!! Well I am on plan today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and doing great (yes it is early) but I am determined to stay on traget this week.

Yesterday I WI at 228, I did not WI this morning yet, but I will and I will update as soon as I do.

The kids are back a school and I am going to go cleaning crazy today. I have so much I want to get done this week, I just need to pace myself.

DD did wonderful at the dance comp on Saturday and we had such a great time.

Ok, well actually the WI was not as bad as I thought - 228.2 up some, but considering what I ate on Sunday not bad at all.

I did ok today.....not as clean as I would like, but my mother was here baking and so I was off track.....

Also did not get as much cleaning done as I would have like, I worked on the computer for a while with my pictures and such

Well kids are finally in bed - it is nice a quiet here now.

Tomorrow I will be volunteering at the school and then it is home and all alone, so I will try to get my bathroom done!!!!!

Well off to unload the dishwasher and relax

Wednesday - 227.4 - ok so I am down this morning and that is good

Last night did 1 hr. pilates and then 30 minutes lyrical dance. Tonight I have 30 minute Tap class.

Not very hungry right now, but I think I will have some turkey rolled with mustard and a small salad.

Well not doing too much today, just catch up on some small things. The kids have early release today so they will be home around 1pm then DD goes to the gym/studio for 2:30 and will be there till 8:30. I have to be back there at 5:30 for my DS classes.

Took my placement test at the college this morning - not too bad tested out of English and Reading, but not Math!!!! Oh well, it has been a long time

Friday - 227!!!!!

I am feeling really great lately. Things around the house are getting done, I am sticking to losing weight!!!! and I am going back to school!!!!!! I can't beleive it - I got accepted into the program so my entire 2 year degree is being paid for in full!!!!!! books and all!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!! Maybe this is the turn in my life that I needed.

I am at an even 227 and I think 28 lbs by June 8th is doable!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kids are doing great and you know what even my marriage is going great!!!!!

Money is tight right now cause my unemployment has not kicked in, but we are making it and things will be fine soon!!!!!!!

Well I have a volunteer appreciation lunch at the school today that I have been invited to so I will be there from 11:30-12:30

DH has a dr. appointment today - pain in lower abs and not sure could be a hernia!!! just praying for him and will wait and see

Well off to wake him up now and get started with my day.

Monday - 229 well no ones fault but my own!!!!! I just can't stand the weekends!!!!!!! I always blow it during that time!!!!!!!!! I just can't stand it!!!!!!

But that does not mean I am giving up. I am SOP as of right now and I will be good one day at a time. I can do it, just need to give it my all.

Well I got on the treadmill this morning!!!! That is good and I know I will feel better about this. I walked for 30 minutes/at 3.0 speed/1.34 miles/3455 steps. My goal for this week is to get on the TM every morning once the kids get on the bus.

Well DH had his test on Friday, but the dr. did not call back with the results!!!!! He had the test done at 3:30 on Friday and I guess it was too late to call us back!!!!!! I think it was really rude and not very nice, but oh well, they are the drs. not us!!!!!! He is going to call them first thing this morning to find out the results - they think it is a hernia, but not sure...

Well I am off to start my day.....mom coming up and I really want to get my son's room cleaned!!!! and moved around.

Well - I am fine!!!! DH Had to have a CT last Thursday and as of right now, still no results!!!! We are really stressed out about this I really hope that we get the results today!!!!! I just don't know what to think!!!!!!!! I would think that if it was serious, they would have called sooner, but at this rate who knows.

I went camping this weekend with the Girl Scouts - we had a great time but I ate way to much!!!!! I am going to get on the scale this morning and I am also staring to work with my GF on the weight loss!!!!! I have a month to lose some of this weight!!!!!!! I swear I have no will power and that really suc**....I hate to get on the scale this morning cause I think I am really retaining water or something, my feet feel swollen!!!!!!!

Last week was tough and stressful all around here!!!! My DD's duet partner has left unexpected and went back to her home state, so that is not good. She is going to do a Solo in 2 weeks when we head to MB and at the recital (that is fine) but she has danced with this girl for 3 years now and they were more than dance partners, they were really great friends and she is very hurt and sad that she left without saying goodbye!!!! There is a lot behind this and I don't want to go into it here since it is very personal to that family, but it is not fair to the children. So I am dealing with that.

My DS is doing well, just finished his soccer season and is getting ready to start Ice Hockey!!!!!!

Oh well, off to get laundry and house done...

Well, day one of dance/gym pictures down and 4 more to go!!!!!!

WI this morning and I am back up to 232!!!!!! Well I did great eating today, so hopefully will get down some tomorrow....

Well, we got our Lyrical and Jazz costumes intonight and I am so bumbed....the lyrical I can make work, but the Jazz.....You know I just wish I was thin and could where some of these things, oh well, I guess I will have to get my stepmother to alter this one for me......

kids are getting into bed now and DH is out playing hockey, so I should have some quiet me time in a few!!!!!

Tomorrow I will be starting my side job working for someone from home!!!! I hope this works out, it will be nice!!!!!!

Oh well, off to tuck in kids...hope all had a great day and tomorrow is filled with strength and happiness.

Wednesday - back to 228.8!!! Ok started the week back up at 232 and down already!!!!! I am feeling ok!!!!!

Day 3 of dance pics tonight and things are going great!!!! I love not having them all on one night, this is so less stressful!!!!!

I am not feeling like myself lately and not sure why....I don't want to use the word depressed cause I know that is a real issue and I am not that, but I just right now, don't want to do anything and I just want to be done with everything and I just want to go on vac and not worry about anything.

Things are very busy this time of year and so much is going on and all is not good!!!!!!!!

Today I am going to my dad's to have my stepmother alter my Jazz top cause it is too tight and I don't like it!~!!!!!! I also have to finish the rings for the girls tap number for tonight and make my DD Fred Flinstone's costume for tonight!!!!!! That is just the tip of it!!!!!!
