Well Heck I'M Going to Journal Also.

I decided to cop an attitude and get this weight off. I guess I will eventually have to post the "fat" pictures. Speaking of copping an attitude---- did I mention PMS this week? I turned 42 this year and for the first time in my life I am experiencing PMS. Hurray for the 40's.

About 6-8 months ago I was diagnosed with diabetes. Who Me? No,way!!! That only happens to "other" people. More importantly, alien or foreign people. Not Me!!!!!

So, here I am. One of those alien/foreign people with diabetes. Woke up with a sore throat(late nights at the ball field), bad attitude(which is VERY unusual for me) and decided to post here. I figured I would wake up tomorrow regretting this post. lol And if anyone reads this, they are probably thinking "gawd, she won't have to worry if anyone reads this." lol


So here's to what I know works IF I WORK it. ATKINS.

OK today is officially day 1 of Induction for me. I really need to go to the grocery store but I am sick today with a sore throat and chills so I will have to go tomorrow. (hopefully)

I did get up and drive to McDonald's to get two scrambled eggs with two sausage patties. I've been having really bad sugar and carb cravings so I know I need to get at least 4 days of Induction behind me to move forward.

Enjoying watching Ellen and other talk shows this morning. It's nice being home for a change. (kids in school, yeah)

Still under the weather. No chills today but still have the sore throat and I have no energy.

Food today wasn't good. Tried to make a chicken/spinach soup but it was so gross I had to throw it out. I have no idea if spinach can be used in a soup but I thought I would try it. Again, gross.

Hopefully, I can go to work tomorrow. I haven't been out sick in over a year and a half.

Low carb Sandra. It helps your blood sugar.

Wow I'm proud of myself. I'm actually still posting after 4 days. This is huge.
Of course no,one has posted except Hillary. (thank you Hillary)

But that's ok. One day when I poste my huge weight loss pictures, this thread will be booming. lol

Went to work today. Thank goodness the boss let the girls go home early today. I'm still sick. If not better by Monday I will be at the dr office. My chest is really hurting and I'm wondering if I don't have bronchitis.

Anyways, not going great with the low-carb but I will. I WILL.

Had a clean breakfast and I pray that I can have a clean day of eating.

Feeling a little better today. I really wish this crud would go away.

Need to take meat out of refrigerator so I can't say I don't have anything to eat. lol
