Cheryl's Journal - I want to be hot and sexy again!!!

I am starting this weight loss journal for me to get rid fo this weight once and for all.

I started going to a weight loss doctor on March 9, 2007 and have lost 12 pounds to date, but according to him, I should be at least down 20.
Well, the reason for that is I am sabotaging myself. I am not following his food plan, strictly (especially on weekends), and then I get on the scale and say, Oh, why haven't I lost? - i AM JUST KIDDING MYSELF AND i DO NOT KNOW WHY.

I am a single parent with no help from ex-husband so for me to spend all this money on going to this doctor and not do it - it is friggin crazy!

So, what is my deal??? - I hate my frumpy clothes that I have to wear because of my big gut, I want to wear tight jeans with a tucked in shirt!

So, I will continue my weight loss journal in hopes of finding my answers and pray this helps me stay strong and stick to plan!

I am getting on scale tomorrow - between Easter and having off and then getting this horrible cold - who knows?

I am working out tonite and I have been ok on plan but it is a tought food plan to follow.

I have cancelled this week's appt and will decide by tomorrow if I am just going to quit or try it one more time!!!

The appetitie supressants DO WORK BUT DON'T KNOW WHY I CAN'T JUST DO THE WHOLE PLAN AND BE DONE WITH IT.

I would like to lose at least 25 pounds so I do not feel I totally wasted my $$ - Cheryl

Cheryl, I completely understand what you mean!!!!! I don't get it either???? I feel great when on the WOL and it is not bad, but I just have such a hard time sticking to it!!!!! I don't get it!!!!!! Why would I want to eat a way that makes me feel so bad and yucky and not a way that makes me feel good and thinner??????

Well I hope that I can stick to it this time and I will keep up with you and hope you will also.....

Kathy, I hear ya - it sure is a mystery but I guess alot of things come into it - if I get depressed, bored, or just plain sick of everything, ya know?

I see you have a June 9th goal - well, my friends from where I grew up in New York are coming to see me June 12th!! - and the last time we saw each other I was like 30 lbs less so we both have a goal!

We can do this, ya know!!!!!

I grew up on Long Island - East Meadow in Nassau County but I spent alot of time in Queens - Richmond Hill, Kew Gardens area.

I worked downtown Manhattan (Water Street for several years also)

Do you miss good ol NY??

My husband is from Long Island - he went to Brentwood High.

Actually, I have to say that I don't miss NY at all, the only thing I do miss is the food

Hi Kathy,

Yeah, I lived in Babylon for five years which is near Brentwood.

Ohhhhhhhh I miss PIZZA AND BAGELS!!! Nothing like a greasy piece of NY pizza!! and the bagels in Florida suck - of course doing lc I haven't had a bage; in forever.

Ok - I am down another pound so that is 14 since 3/9/07!!

About 30 more to go but even if I get intp the 170's, I would be thrilled.

I work out 4-5x a week - cardio and weight lifting so if I can just stay cheatfree!!!

I am going to shoot for 15 by June 1st - ya think?

If I don't get back in here, have a great weekend!
