getting back in 2 my size 2's!!

Today is day one of my personal boot-camp... and I am in need of it!!

I have been a poster here for a bit... my weight at it's highest was 137 and my lowest weight while on this board was 120. Through out all of this I have been down to 115. My goal is to be within the 115-120 range everyday (the range to allow fluctuation). I am 5'7"

To many people even at my highest weight I was fine for being 5'7", this is true. But for my job, I need to be at my lower weight. I was hired for my current job at my low weight, but I have had vacation and illness that sets me at 133 today.

I am a "Floor Model" at the prominent fashion store I work in. There have been no comments about my weight or anything, but I know how I was hired, and I feel quite uncomfortable.

Also, at my low weight, I sent my photos to home office and I was selected to model for the store's national promotions. I have this modeling shoot in early May... I have 1 month to get from 133 to 115-120. I am going to check in each day at least.

Today (4-2) is day 1 for me.

I will weigh in this shedule:

4-5 Thursday day 4
4-9 Monday day 8
4-13 Friday day 12
4-17 Tuesday day 16 ***I hope to be down to 125 or less by this day

I am following the Kimkins plan. I am doing the full five days of K/E, then slowly moving in to Kimkins

Feel free to watch my journey and/or comment

start current goal range
(started 4-2-07)

That's 4 down, 9 to go til I reach the high end of my goal!

Next weigh day is: Friday the 13th

Hey Erica...

You can do it and your menu looks good. I'll be keeping an eye on your post to see how you do.

Thanks Chris

So, of course I am a compulsive weigher... I just weighed myself I am at 131 from 133 this morning. weird! I wonder how much the water si factored into it... the past couple of weeks I really haven't been drinking enough water-- I have been eating instead of drinking when I am thirsty
But today I have had 5 TALL glasses already. I am feeling pretty pumped!!!

Ok, so I have had my first full day and I think I need to make some revisions

But first, here is my actual menu:

Breakfast
3 scrambled eggs (NFA- no fat added)
coffe w/ 1 TB half n' half + Splenda
Lunch
3 scrambled eggs- NFA
Snack
2 scrambled eggs NFA
Dinner (late, Passover Seder)
broth
1 HB egg
1.5 oz. chicken (undercooked )
.5 C green beans
Snack
1 cup fat free plain yogurt with organic SF cocoa + Stevia
(I count the yogurt exception, so 7.5 carbs for that cup)

------------------------------------------------------------------

My Nutrition Profile
820 Calories
23g (5g fiber) Carb
50g Fat
68g Protein
------------------------------------------------------------------

So k/e seems to not work for me, and I have to do something I CAN do or else I will nosedive off of the wagon...

My Diet Guidlines (for the next 2-3 weeks anyway)

-20 carbs maximum (can subtract fiber only + yogurt exception)
-800-1000 calories/day
-80g maximum protein
-100 oz. water

I feel like chit today but tomorrow is a new one and I kept within those rules above

Night night!!

Good luck to you! I'm a compulsive weigher, too (that is, as long as I'm on plan & know the scale is moving down ). There have been weekend days where I haven't eaten much & have gotten on the scale 3 or 4 times in a day just to see what the current number is It always gives me a rush to go to bed at night only up a tiny bit from what I weighed in the morning because I know I'm going to like the number the next day.

Day 2

Ok, it's April 3rd 2007 and Day 2 for my getting back into my size 2's.

Last night I thought I was going to have to change my plan, but this moring I feel like I am going to try at k/e again. I have a feeling that I had day 1 blues yesterday, so I had to be a little gentler on myself (not THAT gentle... I mean ff plain yogurt and green beans??). But today and from here on I want to do strict k/e the next 2-3 days may be difficult but I have a feeling appetite supression will come.

For breakfast I had

coffee with 1 TB half n half + Splenda
3 scrambled eggs NFA

I'll be checking in later

Ok, I am going to take my measurments

Bust 37.5 in
Waist 27.5 in
Hips (7 in below belly button) 35 in
Hips (widest part of rear) 38 in
Upper thigh (widest part) 21.5 in

As you can see, I am pretty even. BUT you can also see in my pic that the major bulge between my hipbones and belly button is sort not visable through measurement. I will measure again on Monday...

I haven't eaten lunch yet maybe some more eggs? LOL I will hate eggs pretty soon I bet

OK, I just made "pancakes"

3 eggs + 1 tsp. cinnmon + .5 packet Splenda-- beat together
heat large pan, spray with Fat-free non-stick
pour on mixture in 4-5 portions, flip as pancakes

I used some sf sryup with them (only a little )

Nutrition Profile so far...

470 Calories
30g Fat
11g Carb
36g Protein

since breakfast, I have had only my "pankcakes" and 2 piece of chewing gum (sugarless of course!!)

Having dinner at my fiance's father's house tonight... I am guessing lamb or chicken... I might have to eat veggies I hope not, but if no it's not SO bad.

right now I am sort of sitting here feeling guilty about two pieces of SF gum and 2 TB of SF syrup... will this keep me from achieving the domino affect? I am being silly?

UGH!
I don't think those things will make you gain anything, but they usually make me bloated in my tummy area, which is my bad area. That's always depressing for me, so I try to stay away as much as possible. Sometimes I'll splurge, but only when I'm prepared to wear my fat pants

Hope you see the 120's on your weigh-in tomorrow

Mmmmm, last night was a bust!!!!

At Love Feast (for Easter) I definately had some bread and grape juice. The scale is 130 today

But today is a good day, I have decided to follow something with a bit more fat (I always loose better eating fat, eating carbs or not) I did this diet before and lost 6 lbs. the first week:

1000 calories
15g carbs
ANYTHING THAT FITS IN THERE, NET CARBS OK FOR ONE ITEM

So a sample menu (my menu for today)

b~
2 eggs scrambled with 2 TB Cheddar (cook with nonstick spray)
coffee a bit of half n half, splenda'
---> 233 calories, 5g carb

l~
2 hotdogs with mustard
---> 270 calories, 1g carb

s~
string cheese
---> 80 calories, 1g carb

d~
1 cups canned tuna with mustard
---> 170 calories, 0g carb

s~
carb solutions ice cream bar
---> 100 calories 3g carb

totals: about 850 calories, 11g carb

Waist 27.5 in
Hips (7 in below belly button) 35 in
Hips (widest part of rear) 38 in

Hips (7 in below belly button) 34.5 in <------down 1 inch!!
Hips (widest part of rear) 37.5 in <----------down 1/2 inch

Isn't it funny how a number we LOVED seeing just a few days earlier makes us a little sad to see again once we've gone past it? Your inches lost are impressive, though. I wish I had your waist number!! The rest of our measurements aren't too far apart. If you took your couple of extra inches in the bust & added them plus a couple more to the waist we'd be the same I blame it on a wide ribcage & having gone up to a much higher number than you ever saw - it made me soft around the middle.

So congrats on losing inches & you'll be back in the 120's in no time

My bust number... it never changes LOL, even when I was in a sophomore in high school and weighed 110, I still had a 37+ in bust!!

today I ate...

~2 scrambled eggs w/ 2 TB shredded cheddar, coffee with h'n'h and Splena

~2 hotdogs w/ mustard

~Atkins Bar

~4 slices of bacon

~1 string cheese, 1 jell-o cup

Totals: 1000 calories, 9 net carbs

I decided, since on got back on track on Friday (yesterday), that I am not going to weigh until this coming friday. No offical (as in changing my stats) or personal (my checking to see if it's working) weighing until friday!! I am scared but excited.

Today I've had:

b~ 2 scrambled eggs (NFA) w/ 1/2 slice cheddar, coffee w/ 1TB h'n'h + Splenda

l~ 2 hotdogs w/ mustard, coffee w/ 1 TB h'n'h +Splenda

~oops~ 1.5 TB shredded parm ( it was in the kitchen, couldn't resist)

Righ now I'm at: 550 calories, 10g carb

For dinner (Iill be at work ) I am having a bag of plain pork rinds OR an Atkins bar...

Maybe a HB eggs for snack when I get home? Hmm, we will see

Also, update

I know I seem like I am flip flopping around, but this is still all within the first week so I am finding my stride here.

I have decided to do M/E fast, at least for 2 or 3 days... maybe then I can restrict my calories to 1000, but I just not ketosis. SOOO I am M/E-ing it...

Today breakfast was
2 eggs and sausage links
2 cups of coffee, 1.5 TB h'n'h +3 packets splenda split between the two cups

Ok, so this is what I think I'll do. from today (and yesterday) until friday I will do M/E... if the scale says 125 or lower on friday, then I am going to move into Ixtapacheryl's "Zero Carb Diet"/Atkins 72... If the scale is higher than 125, I will continue with M/E until I am at 125 or lower (I am weighing on Monday the 16th as well). SO M/E until 125 or lower, then "zero carb diet", then adding back carbs from there
