Haven't posted in a while

Benn doing great on plan, and am down 77 lbs! Very happy with that!

I'd like to lose another 25 or so before we go to New Orleans in mid September, but that's a reach. All I can do is eat right, exercise, and hope the scale cooperates.

Nine more pounds & I'll take and post new pics.

I'm testing out the chocolate silk pie from the recipe room tonight. God give me strength to not dive head first into the finished product!

The pie is wonderful! I had 3 pieces in 2 days No more till the weekend. Yes, I've lost 80 lbs since 1/30/07. But I stared at 351 lbs so that's why so fast.

Hi Rhona!

I haven't done BodyFlex in over a month but I definitely get results when I do it. I'm planning to get back to it next week. Do you do it, or are you interested in starting? I recommend it. You'll feel silly at first (the breathing is ) & it takes a little getting used to, but I like it.

My mom and sister have left. We had a nice visit (& I lost 5 lbs!). My mom doesn't look good at all, and has very little energy, but her sense of humor is definitely intact.

I haven't posted in forever seems like. Been doing well on plan (except for a weekend in Louisiana in early Aug) & exercising, but the scale is not budging

Signed up for the Race for the Cure on 10/6. Unfortunately, breast cancer is a disease that has hit my family very hard

Jennifer, hang in there!

I spent about 3 weeks bouncing between 181-183.. I thought I would never lose again.. But then last week, BAM! I'm now in the 170s.

It will happen with you too... I do think the body has settle in a bit before it can keep losing fat.

Just stay on plan, keep exercising and keep drinking water.

When I get about my weight I go back to look at what I weight 3 months ago... I keep a log and really helps me put things in perspective.

Keep it up! Ah.. Don't forget to measure too! I had lost only 3 lbs. but overall had lost about 2" in 6 weeks time...

I let my frustrations get to me last night & binged a little. All low carb, but now I feel I've controlled that binge monster so well for so long. I've decided to make a few changes. First of all, I'm going to give myself a little break from weighing & measuring what I eat & fitday. Just a few days. Then, I'm going to limit myself to weighing only 2x/month & measuring my body those same days.

I absolutely love this way of eating & when I was losing consistently it was easy to tell myself that no matter what the scale said, the important thing was trying to establish a normal relationship with food. But now that the scale has been at a standstill, those doubts & obsessive thoughts are creeping in & that's where I've gotten into trouble in the past.

Eat cleanly, exercise and ignore the scale. The first two are pretty easy. Why is the last one so hard????

My body is determined to teach me patience & perseverance!

Staying off the scale lasted for one whole day

I was down 6.5 lbs in August, not great considering I still have 100+ lbs to lose, but I'll take it. I'm going to have a completely clean September & hope to lose 10 lbs.
