My 6 Month Challenge~~Loser in Motion~~

Goodmorning,

I am going to try journaling for the next 6 months. The county where I live is doing a weigh in for 6 months. I am on a team with 3 other ladies. (altogether there are 80 teams) The team who loses the most %of weight will win $1000.00 so 250.00 for each team player. I want that money...LOL Tonight is weigh in and I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I think this is what I need to actually stay on plan and lose this weight once and for all.

A bit about me. My name is Kim. I am 34. I have 2 kids..that are growing up WAY too fast. I also have a wonderful hubby of almost 16 years who is very supportive of me. He is actually going to change his woe along with me I love him so much. He does not have but maybe 15 lb.s to lose so I know he will do great!!

Each day I will post my weight and menus. (I am going to be eating the Stillman's way) Although the weigh in that counts is the one for the 3rd thurs. of each month. My goal for the first month is to lose 21.5 lb.s I figure that is 10 % of my weight right now.

Anyone who wants to stop by to encourage/support/kick my butt my do so. I will need all the support I can get.

Day 1: Weight 210

Well today is the day to get serious and start eating right. Last night was weigh in. I was 216 with clothes and shoes on. I was disappointed a bit last night, we found out that in order to qualify for the money every member on your team has to weigh in each month. We have 2 members that won't be able to in June. So that disqualifies us. BUT we are still going to try for 1st place. That in itself will be fun. I was shocked they gave out no diet information at all???

I didn't get my measurments done yet, I will later today.

Got a caffine withdraw headache right now...I guess it is better to get it done and over with.

Day 2: Weight Down 1.lb

Yesterday was just really watching what was going in my mouth. I did pretty good. Down 1. Did not get in hardly any water, so today my goal is to get in 120 oz. and maybe go for a walk around the housing addition. I feel much better today Still excited about losing this weight once and for all. I know I said I was going to do stillmans, but in reality, I really don't think I can stick to that the rest of my life, so I am going to try something I know I can stick with. So for this next week, I think I am going to try low fat and see how that goes.

RESTART - 3-19 WEIGHT 212

Well today is day 1 on m/e fast. Get this. THis weekend I met with a dietician...and she told us how to eat...ect. Well I tried that for sat and sun. and guess what?????? Are you ready for this!!! I was up 3.5 lb.s from that diet. So I told DH that I am back on m/e fast starting today!! I just had 3 eggs for breakfast will have 2 for lunch and chicken for dinner.
I have also decided that instead of weighing in daily, I will weigh in on Mondays only.
So here is to day 1
