I drank a new shake this morning (around 8am)...EAS Advant Edge Carb Control. I didn't like it as well as the ready to drink Atkins ones. This one I drank this morning has 15g. of protein and says 1 impact carb. So, now it is 10:30 and my stomach feels like it is growling! I don't usually have this happen to me when I drink Atkins.
I am able to make it to lunch. I guess I will go make some eggs. Krysta~still haven't bought a blender(mine tore up) so, I haven't been able to make the other shake mix. |

Beth~
glad you got below 134. And, good job on the exercise. My lazy DD is still in bed (it's almost 9:00) but I need to get her up so we can go on our walk. If your stomach is growling eat. Read my journal today and you'll find that if you eat A LOT, you'll lose! ![]() |

WooHoo!!!!! I am below siggy this morning with 132.4!!!! I can't believe it! I am celebrating with DH this morning as well because he made his first big goal today! He wanted to be a certain weight by the time we went to convention(June 26th), and he made it today instead!!! He has lost a total 39 pounds since March 19th and 58 pounds since his highest weight in Nov. of 05!!
I just had to brag on him this morning!!Well, today is the day....dreadful OBGYN day. I love my doctor but I hate getting a pap smear!! I have been debating all morning on whether to eat or not before my visit. I know it must sound so silly. I really want to weigh as low as possible, but my appt. isn't until 2:00. I don't know if I want to hold out that long on eating. I thought maybe I would just do shakes. Tell me if I am being crazy. What would any of you do? You know the ironic thing is that he may not even notice or remember how big I was. No, he will remember. But I am setting myself up for that he might not. Just letting you in on my head for the moment! I had a PMS moment yesterday afternoon. (Does anyone else have to search for those smilies like I do...they never put them in the same place!!) You will see it in my menu. Thank God that it didn't show up in my weight! I did go and exercise right after I ate all that to help. Also, I made sure I drank my water (which I have been doing very well on). I think you are suppose to drink half of your body weight. That would mean I need to be around 66 oz. I have at times been doing more.Menu from yesterday: Breakfast: EAS shake=2/4 (says only 1 impact sugar but on the label it says 2/4) Snack: 2 eggs(1.2), coffee w/ HC/DS=1.2 Lunch: Pork chop(0), sm. salad(2), ranch(1.5)=3.5 Snack: 1/2 cup hm frozen dessert: HC(1.5), splenda(1), choc. CCD milk(1), DS(0) frozen to resemble icecream, 1 hm choc. pb treat(1), 1 slice cheese microwaved into cracker(.3)=5.8 Dinner: Tilapia fish w/small scallops(2) baked in butter & Old Bay, 1 cup broccoli(2/4), w/ cheese sauce(1)=5/7 Total: 17.5N/21.5F Ketone stick this morning: Trace ![]() Water yesterday: 76 oz. Exercise: Another Denise Austin tape: Interval training w/ walking |

There will be a full report this afternoon. Also, good news, my MIL is coming to keep the kids tonight so me and DH can go out (while the big boys are still away). Haven't figured out what we are going to do yet....
We had something neat happen at our house yesterday. Miss Kate went to the potty for the first time!!! I learned with Samuel not to push them with pottying but she was showing some interest. She even told me the second time that she had to go. No more after that but it is beginning. Yea! |

![]() I am soooooo happy for both you and DH!![]() ![]() I can so relate to not wanting to eat before the appointment. I always wear the lightest clothes possible before weighing in at the Dr's office.![]() But, you do need to eat some. Being really hungry could lead to eating off plan. At least that has been my experience in the past. Like Candy, I can't wait to hear what they have to say about your tremendous weight loss! |

It is so nice when there are NO DIAPERS in your future.

Samuel is still in pullups at nighttime. I talked with the Ped. and he said it was nothing to worry about. He sleeps sound and doesn't know. Both of the older ones were fully trained by this point. They say that girls are easier....I hope so!!

DD was a breeze compared to the boys. Once she started, she didn't even have to wear diapers at night. But, the boys were another story. I finally told youngest DS that when he turned 3 he had to wear "big boy pants." He knew that, so at three he finally cooperated. But, he still had to wear pull-ups at night for a while.

OK, so I decided to eat some yocheese w/ Raspberry DS and 1/4 cup of raspberries...Yummy! Later if I get hungry I will have a shake or some cottage cheese and jello I guess. How much carbs should I count for the 1/2 cup of yocheese????

Will do....I
date night!!! I think I want a nice steak and a movie! The only downside to having someone come watch the kids is that I have to clean house and cook something for them to eat. That isn't something they(grandparents) require but I want to make it easy (and we don't pay them..). I think I will put some chicken in the crock pot and cook some veggies and maybe even...shhh...rice.![]() |

As long as YOU dont eat the rice!
WOO WHOO on 132! You are amazing! I'm wondering if I will ever get to that point I will just live vicariously through you ![]() I have to say, I NEVER think about what I'm going to weigh on the Dr. scales! I figure it's pointless since I'm wearing clothes and shoes! But, shakes and cottage cheese will probably hold you over. Have fun on your date night! I can't wait till I can go on a date night, too! |

I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I AM RIGHT NOW!!!
I weighed 133 at the doctor's office!!! I was so thrilled. Last year at my appointment I weighed 169. Then, after that I went up to 175! My doctor didn't say anything right away. It wasn't until he asked how I had been health wise that I told him that I had lost 43 pounds. He was so thrilled! He looked back in my chart and said WOW! And then he couldn't stop with the compliments. It was a fantastic visit. Several of the nurses that have been there a while noticed and told me that I looked fantastic! I am glad it is over.....I am starving!!!! They also scheduled me for my first mammogram next Tues. I am so not looking forward to that. Anyway, I have GOT to go eat something. Just wanted to fill you in on the details. You see how much you ladies mean to me if I will put you before food!!! |

Your scales must be very close to the Dr. scales, even maybe higher because you got a GREAT reading with your clothes on.
Good job.![]() Now, please eat. |

Okay Ladies,
I need some input that is not weight loss related, but you are all so fantastic, so I know you will share your insight ![]() I am working on charts for my kids. Daily responsibilities and ongoing projects. I am going to explain them and post them, then the kids will have to earn priviledges BEFORE they receive them, instead of chasing them after ![]() FYI, the kids are amazing, wonderful beings, and we already expect much from them, BUT with my foot surgery coming up, and the fact that for some reason I am beginning to feel very depressed when the house is chaotic...I need some help. What sort of things do you expect your kiddos to do, and if you are planning on kiddos, please jump in...I am sure you will have lots to offer ![]() Ages: DD---Almost 13 DS1---Almost 10 DS2---Almost 6 Thanks!!!
